Grieks Restaurant Apostolis in Terneuzen Centrum

Enjoyed a delicious meal in a quiet atmosphere on the terrace with friendly service.

Friendly service, the food was delicious. The wine glass was filled perfectly, which isn't something you see very often these days. The atmosphere is very pleasant thanks to the charming decor and the Greek music, which was at least audible but not overwhelming. Average price for the food. We will definitely return. The two of us had another wonderful meal at Apostolis. We had a Greek appetizer platter, the Pikillia Zesti (meze), for starters. It was so delicious! For the main course, we had the Mixed Grill and, for the first time, the Surf & Turf with Beef Tenderloin and Scampi in Lobster Sauce. The tenderloin was wonderfully tender. And to finish, we had a delicious dessert. We'll definitely be back! The service, as always, was super friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful evening tonight on the terrace at Apostolis restaurant! 👌🏻

Of all the Greek restaurants we have visited in Flanders, this is the best, albeit in the northern neighbours. Well-kept, sufficient space, quiet (was fully booked) and tasty dishes, in short, a recommendation. Keep up the good work.

I'm back from Greece and the restaurant didn't really give me the same atmosphere. Service was quite present, prices were exaggerated and there was no choice of pasta or other dishes to accompany the dishes. Overall, I was quite disappointed.

We visited the Restaurant Apostolis for Dinner. The spot itself was very nice and ambient. There were very little things according to the service that could be improved but nothing really critical. This could also be our personal sensation of the moment. The food itself was very nice. We ordered some bread with garlic butter as appetizer. The garlic butter was a bit to tame in my eyes. A bit more garlic taste would have been nice but overall the appetizers were solid. The main dishes were very nice. We nearly encounter anytime problems with fish bones in fish dishes but we had no problems here what speaks for a very good preparation! The main dishes were all in all very tasty and the portion size was also very good. All in all we can say that we had a nice stay at Restaurant Apostolis and if we get back into this area we will consider to eat there again.

Don't want to be negative, but the fries were still raw, the tenderloin was not well done, they should have first asked how you would like it, I think, the waitress is already clearing the table while you are still eating, and a thank you from the manager is not yet possible, in short, pay and move on.

Give the chef freedom and you will get surprising and great dishes! Calf as tender as never before!

We had a nice meal on Sunday with our group of 6 people. We opted for the mezedakia. Everyone could take according to their choice. Quantity was ok and enough different snacks. Service was friendly and helpful. We had a very nice evening.

The 1st carpaccio was still half frozen, the 2nd attempt was still ice cold and on the 3rd attempt the waitress stated that it had just been heated up (quote: of course not in the microwave"); the starters were also not served together. All credit to the waitress who understood this and showed that this absolutely could not be the standard, but everything showed that she could not/should not escalate this further. The main course was of an acceptable level, but unfortunately we only saw the owner/manager when payment had to be made and not during our 2-hour dinner. We used to like visiting this restaurant because of the intimate atmosphere and personal approach (especially because of the allergen approach), but this experience ensures that we will make a different choice next time.

Delicious food at Apostolis... squid starter in a pan with sauce, deliciously freshly prepared. As a main course, skewer with pork tenderloin and gyros with a delicious pepper sauce on top... Apostolis, keep it up!

What a surprise this Greek restaurant was!! I have eaten Greek in many places, but this restaurant was simply super tasty! The flavors and the different tasty fish dishes wow! Dear Greek 👊

Food taste was very average for me. We ordered War Appetizers mix and Cold Appetizers mix and two lamp dishes and one beef dish. They have small nice salad open buffet included with the orders. Service was very nice and friendly.

Service very poor, plates were removed while some were still eating. Lamb chops tough and overcooked, unedible. After a complaint, the waiter commented that you can get another piece of meat. In my opinion, that is not a solution. Some dishes were also not warm. Desserts also did not meet expectations. When paying for the evening, a price of Euro 65.00 turned out to be absolutely not in accordance with what was offered. Our complaint was also then completely ignored. I have been to several Greek restaurants. But this was absolutely below par. Never come there again.

Restaurant was supposed to open at 4:30 p.m., when we arrived at 4:35 p.m. we were told 5 p.m. You are assigned space... Unfortunately we forgot the ouzo...and the bill wasn't processed quickly.

Went there on a spur of the moment. Boss clearly said no food until 5 p.m. I don't think he cared whether we came back. After being seated, the curly-haired waiter was more busy holding up his girlfriend's pants on the opposite side of the street. But was also greeted by the boss, either it's the son or the top seller. But it was also a delicious sandwich. Therefore we didn't have a welcome ouzo. But food was really good. Billing is a bit bumpy as only one person is allowed to collect. So bring your time or order the invoice early. All in all, it was a tasty alternative to the Delphi grill I preferred, which unfortunately went on vacation.

Delicious baguette beforehand. The tomato soup was very thin and very average in quality. The fish was excellent but almost no salad and no other vegetables. Crèmebrûlet could be a little better, my dessert was super delicious, a kind of warm vanilla cake (forgot the name). House wine white could be a bit better. For the money, we have honestly eaten better elsewhere. Do a little more to "pamper" the guests, e.g. by adding some olives and tzaziki, some vinegraite over the lettuce leaf. Or make a salad buffet where everyone can get something themselves. Success assured. Just promote your Greek cuisine a little more.

Food was good, aphrodite dish for 2 people. Atmosphere was great.. it was Greek evening.. only 1 comment, Freddo ordered capuchino, but that was not ok at all. Didn't taste like anything.. I often drank it in Crete, but this tasted like nothing..

We recently had dinner here with our family (2 adults, 2 children). The food was very tasty and filled the stomach well! We were also pleasantly surprised with the speed in which the food was made and served. The staff was friendly, came by regularly and also provided an ouzo appetizer. All in all a very pleasant experience!

Highly recommended! Our choice was the "Greek table" on the menu, followed by a Baklava for dessert. A mixture of grilled meat and fish, exceptionally tasty and super well prepared. In short, great class!

Had dinner at Apostolis tonight, the food was very tasty. We had the grilled calamari and tomato croquettes as a starter. This tasted fresh and truly Greek. Our main courses were meat dishes and these were delicious, good quality meat and well cooked and seasoned. The chocolate mousse is also highly recommended. Interior is cozy and clean. We will definitely come back.

Very good with modern Greek dishes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Menu card looks different from classic Greek restaurants. Dishes are beautifully prepared and served. Our menu consisted of 3 courses, kind of tapas, which were served separately on a board. You can also make unlimited use of the salad bar. Highly recommended and a big compliment to the owner and staff.

Yesterday took my wife on a date and was looking for a restaurant nearby. This is our first time, will certainly not be the last. Food is great, service is fantastic, and everything was super good. All in all, I give everything 10/10, highy recommend it.

I didn't come for the atmosphere, but the waiters were pleasant. Plus for me. The owner/operator is a nice guy who listens to the customer's wishes. The food was delicious, but I missed the real Greek taste. So spicier herbs. But that's my fault, I'm used to a lot. I'll point that out next time. A 10 for now!

Had a great meal with the children

Food was definitely good. The boss was grouchy and was not the epitome of Greek hospitality. There was a waiter who played a servant, but only spoke a little English. He didn't understand a lot of what you meant. For example, rare, medium and well done were incomprehensible to him when it came to meat, for example. Anyway...the surroundings (terrace) were in good order, the rest was very mediocre.

The food is very tasty, but the staff really needs better training. We ordered the Mezidakia (tapas), 3 courses are beautifully presented, but it is simply put down and ready, no explanation about what is on the shelf, why it was chosen, whether it is a specialty, nothing at all, when asked The wait staff is unable to explain what is on the shelf, even after consulting a colleague, and the English-speaking young man who came next cannot explain it either. It was tasty, not that bad, more than enough, but the knowledge of the staff is nil and that is a shame. The treatment at checkout is also very business-like, the amount is mentioned, the card reader is pointed to and you're done. Didn't ask if everything was to your liking, etc. Too bad. It is the total picture that determines whether you have enjoyed your meal and whether you feel appreciated as a guest.

Immersed in the Greek cuisine and atmosphere... you felt the hospitality from reception to farewell. The food was sublime and nice portions were provided.

Very tasty and large dishes, quick service, cozy Mediterranean atmosphere and extremely fair prices. Our favorite restaurant when we are in Terneuzen (have been several times already). We will happily drive 100km for an afternoon in Terneuzen if we can end the day here! Keep it up, it's great 👌🏻

Had a great meal at Apostolis. The surprise of what comes to the table in 3 parts when you order the Mezidakia (tapas) is super fun. Delicious various dishes, of course way too many, but you get them home with you 👍🏼

Had a table in the extension. It was completely full and therefore there was a lot of noise and noise. The acoustics there are very bad. Asked if we could get another table in the restaurant itself. This was immediately honored. Very friendly waiters. Food was good.

We have eaten here several times and come back here for the delicious fish they serve. The service is ok, although we recently had a nice Greek young waiter, who was cheerful, nice and great!

Wonderful restaurant, nice addition that you have people from Greece who also speak Greek serving you, the interior is really the style of the food Greek, so the parking lot is a short walk, about 5-10 minutes, highly recommended, so come and eat there and let the atmosphere flows through your body

Good food is one thing, but this beats everything. It's that I can't give 6 stars otherwise I would have. The food here is always very tasty. The meat is incredibly tender. Fantastic!
