Staff was friendly, but I won't go there for a high tea anymore. I don't like the decoration. A high tea should be different small mini sandwiches and no pieces of baguette. Why not have a nice teapot on the table with different teas and a nice small pan with soup and why not divide it into 3 courses, that's how it should be, but the sandwiches were tasty but way too much.

Yesterday I visited your lunchroom with the intention of having a drink there. Upon entering I indicated that I first had to use the toilet and then would order something. To my surprise, when I returned, I was addressed in an extremely unfriendly manner by an employee. Her attitude was downright disrespectful: I was barely looked at, treated in a condescending tone and served without any customer friendliness. When I politely approached her about this, I was simply shown the door with the words: “If you don't like it, there is the door.” I found this unheard of and particularly hurtful, as I did nothing more than place an order normally and respectfully. When I wanted to speak to the manager, I initially had difficulty finding someone to speak to. Eventually the manager came, but to my astonishment he indicated that the employee would not apologize because she was “angry”. I find this a shocking way to deal with customers and do not understand why my legitimate complaint was not taken seriously. I expect your catering business to be a place where customers are treated in a normal, respectful manner, regardless of who they are. This experience has caused me a lot of stress and makes me doubt the norms and values ​​within your company. I hope for a serious response from your side and an explanation of how you deal with this, so that other customers are not treated in the same way.

Came here for lunch around 12 noon. Where more than half of the tables were occupied. Customers who arrived later but were served before us. 40 minutes later they finally came to take our order. 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches and a tomato soup. We were asked whether soup and sandwiches could come at the same time or separately. Said that this could come together. After waiting fifteen minutes, the drinks were brought and 20 minutes later the sandwiches were finally delivered. After eating the sandwiches, the soup had still not been delivered at 1.40 pm... because we had to pick up the children from school, we told them they could forget the soup... they said: oops, completely forgot... really bad. So we had to wait over an hour for a drink and almost 1.5 hours for 2 toasted sandwiches and a soup that we didn't get. We were ready to leave several times. You also continuously smelled an odor as if the food had been badly burned. Fortunately, the food itself was ok.

We were used to come to this bistro, but last week we swore not to come again. After waiting more than half an hour for a cup of soup, they came telling us that the rest was ready. We had asked beforehand to wait at least 15' between the courses. When we got it eventually, it was lukewarm and fell on our stomach like a stone. Our coffee afterwards was not very warm either; And all thisserved in an extremely unfriendly way. They oviously cannot cope with a full bistro. So clean up your act and take at least two more staff on for the kitchen and the lunchroom!

Excellent food. It's just a shame that the exhaust in the kitchen doesn't work very well, especially when it's quite busy. After lunch your clothes smell completely like a chip shop/kitchen. Tip: Provide better extraction.

While elsewhere I certainly don't have to add sugar because of the caramel, it was unfortunately necessary here. There is probably little you can do about this if it comes straight from the coffee machine. I also had a ham and cheese spread. 1 slice of bread with cheese and 1 with ham, not really a ham/cheese spread, unfortunately. But an extra ham and an extra cheese. In contrast, the egg was cooked correctly, with the yolk still soft. The salad that came with it was also delicious and made up for part of it. The operation in general is not exactly fast. The menu was presented to me fairly quickly, unfortunately taking my order took a while (I could understand it if the staff were very busy), even though many staff were waiting. The same applies when it comes to the waiting time for the order, which was unfortunately also a bit disappointing while the service was not overly busy. Overall not a bad place, price is around other similar places in the area. Is this not recommended? No, it is certainly doable, you should not be in a hurry and not have too high demands when it comes to food. You can see and taste that they know how to cook in the kitchen, but the policy will probably be, for example, with ham and cheese spread, to put 1 ingredient per slice instead of both ingredients on both slices. Just not enough for me to give 4 stars, but clearly more than 2 stars, so I end up with a nice 3 star rating. Not bad, but certainly room to improve.

Had lunch with my girlfriend yesterday. Sandwich was really delicious, but the service was very poor! Couldn't eat tasty food yet or tasted it since. Very sorry! The extraction was also very poor. All clothing including jacket had to be washed. Had a quick chat with the boss, but he wasn't really impressed. Too bad too!

One of the best lunchrooms in Terneuzen

Nice restaurant in the center of Terneuzen. Enough choice, something for everyone. The quality of the food is excellent for the price you pay. We went during the weekend when it was a bit busier, so we were helped a little less quickly. In addition, I placed an order that was not completely correct, wrong sauce, different type of bread than ordered, but that was partly resolved quickly and the other part was accepted.

Nice restaurant on the inside, but the terrace is less convenient. The food was okay, perhaps with a bit of an exaggerated pile of salad with your sandwich... and it also took quite a while before you were served. My friend wasn't listened to properly either, got brown bread instead of white and he wanted a minced meat ball sandwich with mayo, he only got mustard... mayo was added afterwards... maybe it was because of the crowds. Glasses weren't the cleanest either.

We were here a year ago, two weeks ago and today . Now, every time the service was getting slower and unfriendlier. The food quality is outstanding and the prices very acceptable. But waiting 20' for a drink, half an hour for the soup, another half hour for the mains and 15' for a coffee is way over the top! The more as we were there well before rush lunch time. The waitresses seem not to pay attention or only half listen to the order and have to come back to the table. When one complains about the waiting times, they shrug their shoulders and carry on. We will return because the food is really nice and NOT because of the friendly service!

Hier op maandag 12 juli een hapje gegeten met een collega om de samenwerking eens in een informele setting te bespreken. Lekker gegeten, we hadden een ciabatta met Serrano ham en een ciabatta geitenkaas. Beide broodjes waren rijkelijk belegd. Al met al een geslaagde lunch en zeker een aanrader.
