A great experience for lovers of diverse food! The restaurant offers an impressive range of dishes from all over the world, perfectly prepared and full of flavour. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it ideal for a night out with friends or family. The only downside is the price, which is on the high side. Although the quality and variety of the food partly makes up for this, a slightly more friendly fare would make it perfect. All in all, highly recommended for those who enjoy culinary diversity and are looking for a nice ambiance!

Looks nice and neat inside, everything is very clean. Lots of choice of food and drinks and staff are also very nice and helpful.

Delicious food and despite the fact that it is large and massive, they distributed the guests evenly throughout the restaurant and the atmosphere was wonderfully quiet.

Last weekend I was persuaded to eat at this establishment. The food in the 'containers' is regularly cold, if there is anything in it at all. So we decided to focus mainly on the grill. You can serve your own meat. The nice thing about this concept is that, because of the large numbers that go on the grill at the same time, you never know what you will ultimately be served! That element was refreshing. My compliments to the man at the pizza oven. This person is extremely friendly and makes delicious pizzas. Tip: When booking, ask for an extra table for the empty bottles/glasses. These were not collected once during the 2 hours. Don't forget to check out! Apparently you have to hand in your ticket when leaving the restaurant. Finally, we thought it was very nice that you are also welcome here in training pants and a football shirt. Ultimately our own problem, but in a normal shirt and jeans we felt a bit 'overdressed'..

Extremely bad experience. When we arrived at 7 p.m. there was an empty pan of soup, thick baguettes cut into pieces and it was a mess. The lettuce was gone, the mozzarella was yellow, carpaccio was gone, sushi was gone. Then straight off the plate... the tenderloin was so tough that we left it alone, but the fish was fine. Several people were approached about everything that was gone and would always be refilled, but this was not the case. Unfortunately, no one could help us properly. A disappointment on my son's birthday.

I didn't think the food was very good, I'm not used to that, which is a pity and I think it was quite expensive.

Excellent and varied range of food and drinks. There is a lot of tidying up in between and the waiting times are not too bad. We arrived on a warm day and it was just as warm inside, which was a downside.

Dry sushi, only 3 types, no choice, everything is always gone, dry tasteless steak, dry tenderloin, dry fries (yes, a lot of dry ones) 300 students who fill themselves up for a few bucks, and then keep bumping into you, very hot inside, paths too tight, too many people near the baking trays, making it impossible to get through. This was the last time for this year. We will look again in 2025, I would go to Drachten if you want good food.

What an unpleasant food shed with an elevator that a third world country would be ashamed of. The Peking duck in the photo on the site seemed delicious to me. It turned out to be (really) an indefinable poultry fried into pieces with an axe, of which you have to eat dirty brown pieces of meat with your hands between the bone splinters. No crispy skin. Ugh, gross! Meat and fish on the griddles was good. Ice cream for dessert, ordinary ice cream and not the promised delicious Italian ice cream. Reported: 1 of the 4 people had difficulty walking and needed space to stand up. Offered was one of the closely spaced tables in the sweat room (where air conditioning had apparently never been heard of), or a table at a distance that was not walkable at the end of the restaurant. In short, a huge letdown and never, ever go to this place again!

Niet normaal hoe warm het daar was vandaag. We hadden voor 2 uur betaald maar zijn na een uur weg gegaan. Je eetlust verdwijnt gewoon door die hitte. We hoorden meer mensen er over klagen en zagen veel rode hoofden. Bij het weggaan gevraagd waarom het zo warm was. Volgens hun konden zij er niets aandoen. Hun airco kon de hoeveelheid mensen niet aan en alle bakplaten stonden aan. Nou, volgens mij kunnen ze er wel wat aandoen. Nieuwe airco misschien. Ik denk dat we volgende keer eten en co gaan proberen.

Great to eat there food is good you can help yourself as much as you want

Since corona I ate at taste and flavor again. After reading the bad reviews, I was a bit skeptical, but we had good experiences. The food was hot and replenished. The girl who took the plates away was very friendly. I did have the impression that it was a little less busy. Of course, the price has also increased considerably. The dessert buffet was slightly less extensive than three years ago, but still sufficient choice. I don't understand those negative reviews.

This is my favorite all you can eat restaurant! The food is delicious, the toilets are clean and you can also sit outside with a fantastic view 👍

Food very bad. a chef who thinks it's funny to shout and then bullies you into cooking 1 piece of meat is unbelievable. We have eaten at better restaurants in Groningen. The intention was to just relax and go out for dinner on a Sunday. It didn't work out. The staff don't click with each other. You have to pay in advance because they know how lousy their place is, yuck.

First time and the last time, the restaurant was nice in itself, but the chefs are just dirty, unfriendly and arrogant, you ask them to cook well and then they don't even respond. I advise people to take an Asian language book with them because they look at you as if you am an attraction

We had a delicious meal here again tonight. Lots of choice and good quality! For example, the many types of salmon, eel, herring, shrimp and oysters are really delicious! Too bad they don't have air conditioning. This time (30/7/2024) it was quite warm inside...

Delicious food and a lot to eat. They also have a small play area for children. I think it is a bit expensive but it is a fantastic restaurant!!

Had a great experience when they started. But now a few years later... You shouldn't expect a star restaurant at an all you can eat, but unfortunately it was just bad. The toilet was filthy. The sushi was tough and dry, the prepared food was all way too dry and tasted "old", the vegetables all over-cooked. The wok and tepan were still ok.. but unfortunately not worth 102,- for 2 people and a child. Unfortunately this is the last time I've been here.

I have eaten in several world restaurants that offer a wide range of dishes known and loved worldwide. Compared to these restaurants, the selection at Taste and Flavor is very limited. Therefore it doesn't deserve the name 'world restaurant'. The staff could also have been friendlier. In short, that was my first and last visit to this restaurant.

We wanted to go out for dinner because of my girlfriend's birthday. The choice quickly fell on Taste and Flavor because it is 1 street away from us. We had never been there before and are normally not fans of an all you can eat concept, but now we thought with our stomachs because we felt like stuffing ourselves with delicious food. The area around the restaurant is particularly beautiful. The atmosphere is very mediocre in the restaurant, we noticed that the people working there did not interact with each other which made it seem like they were not having a good time. The staff works extremely hard +1. The food was so bizarrely bad, quantity over quality. PLEASE don't go here! I don't think people who are positive about this have many demands regarding food. There are very long lines and the food is not fresh (vegetables are). Greetings Tim

Extensive top food and a fantastic view!

On June 12 we went out for dinner at Taste and Flavor, we had made a reservation for half past six because we had read online that after 7 hours less is made and the quality drops. That was indeed true, certain dishes were simplified, things were only refilled when the last one was finished and you could really taste that some things had been on the warming plate for hours. The sushi was really inedible, very dry and it was clear that it was not freshly made. For the desserts and pastries, especially the brownie and the pancakes, the same problem, extremely dry and not fresh. If you want a pancake, you should only take a freshly made one and not from the warming container. It was also noticeable that the coffee maker is not cleaned often, I found the coffee undrinkable. The meat is also mediocre and mainly annoying that it is all so salty and there is so much sauce on it. Compliments for the vegetables, lots of vegetarian options and deliciously fresh. In short, it's definitely not worth the money. :(

The famous all-in restaurant on the Reitdiep. We were a family of 4, we made reservations, but it was not very busy. I think 50 percent. Many well-known options such as stir-fry and tepenjaki. Exotic options such as shark and kangaroo were also available at the time. The food was prepared perfectly, so very good. There was also a large play castle where all the children could have fun. Food factory, little attention to food, long lines, I understand that it takes 2.5 hours to eat. And the food was so/so. The taffeta are crammed so close together that many of the fat people who eat there cannot extend their chairs. That was entertainment.

This is a shame, previously a top restaurant with excellent food and good service, there is little left of it: the quality of the food has deteriorated by leaps and bounds. Service also poor: it takes a long time for the table to be cleared. Meat is tough and has little flavor. Everything also looks sloppy and messy. Everything is in need of a major overhaul. Too bad, faded glory, I don't know what's going on with this, this doesn't bode well for the future. We won't be coming back here for a while, and we used to come here regularly

Food was good, but the atmosphere was unpleasant, impersonal, loud, No service, only clearing the table with metal clearing racks. A bit of a canteen atmosphere. Lift has been broken for a few days, difficult to walk with a walker.

On Sunday May 12, Mother's Day, we went out for dinner with a group of 7 people. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. The food left a lot to be desired: The quality of the meat was terribly poor. The hot dishes did not appear to have been prepared on the same day. The sushi ran out quickly and was not refilled. "No problem," we thought, "because they weren't tasty anyway." In general, the quality offered does not justify the price of 42.50 euros to eat there. There are better restaurants in Groningen that serve higher quality dishes. Although I had not been there for about two years, I am now certain that this was my last visit. When I have a craving for sushi again and want better food, I will go to Yasumi Sushi & Grill near the fish market.

In one word, terrible. Really terrible. Nothing excepted. Even the desserts were inedible. Nothing is fresh.Yuck. For the same money you can eat in so many places where the food is good. I wouldn't come back here for free.

Food display is messy, dirty and few fresh products. It looks like everything is almost gone and they are about to close. The empty plates are left on the table too long. Not a nice staff, uninterested and grumpy. Too expensive. Tasty oysters. Delicious prawns and scallops from the grill. It's striking how many people walk alone with plates of fries and frikadellen. Tip: downstairs there is a cafeteria, much cheaper.

Very good Restaurant, the Boss and their employees very friendly. And the food is represent the name of the place. Taste & Flavour is highly recommended.

April 11, 2024. The food was very disappointing. The BBQ meat all got the same sauce, so it all tastes the same. Meat from the grill was still too raw. After stir-frying, the taste/sauce became as thick as jelly, so it was not tasty. The drink is like making lemonade, not original. Not recommended for us.

Went last Friday with a large group. The food was cold, tasted bad and some dishes were undercooked. To top it all off, at the end of the evening I felt extremely nauseous and had a terrible stomach ache due to the bad food. For the price you pay you would be better off choosing another restaurant!

The BBQ cook threw his dirty cloth on the raw meat that was ready to be fried. When I said something about it, the man became annoyed. He didn't speak Dutch or English either, so I don't know what happened, but I don't think that man should even be in a Dutch kitchen.

Het eten was heel erg slecht, vlees was taai en niet goed gebakken. In de twee uren dat ik daar was heb ik meerdere keren ongedierte gezien. De man die bij de wok staat en de man die bij de gril staat hebben er beiden geen zin in. Bij de grill werd mijn kipstukjes gewoon aan iemand anders gegeven en toen ik daar wat van zei mocht ik de rest ook vergeten zei die man… Bij de wok werd er naar mij geschreeuwd omdat ik een stuk vis zou hebben gepakt die eigenlijk bedoel was voor de grill toen ik sorry zei en opnieuw wilde gaan wokken werd er tegen mij gezegd dat ik niet meer mocht wokken. In totaal 230 euro weg gegooid… Ik raad het sterk af om hier naar toe te gaan. Dit was nogmaals verschrikkelijk.

Ik en mijn verloofde zijn vandaag 1 jaar samen. Heerlijk uit eten geweest bij Taste and Flavour. Het eten was heerlijk. Ze zagen dat mijn verloofde niet goed kan lopen, en boden ons een tafeltje aan dichtbij het buffet en de toiletten. Echt hele goede service. Het eten was heerlijk en wijn bier zat bij de prijs in. De toiletten roken fris en waren schoon. De ligging was alleen wel heel vervelend. We moesten met de bus en moesten bij Reitdiep P+R eruit en toen nog 15 minuten naar Taste and Flavour lopen. Dit doen we dus ook niet snel weer. Puur omdat mijn verloofde niet goed en snel kan lopen.

Food was delicious, beautiful restaurant and very nice service. One point of criticism is that I am in a wheelchair and there are thresholds at both entrances. So I couldn't go in independently, which was a shame!!

Geweldig heerlijk gegeten,,zeer vriendelijk personeel en van alles te eten ,wat ik ook mooi vindt is dat oester pas open gemaakt wordt als je vraagt en opeet maar heerlijke oester ,zo veel eten en lekkere dingen ,te veel maar netjes ,er wordt ijs voor je opgeschept ,en drinken ingeschonken niet alles maar ,ik vindt dat beter want er is toezicht op ,dat niet iedereen met zijn handen overal in zit ,maar pizzabakker,suchi,veel soorten ook bakjes vol met gemengde dingen,garnalen zo groot heb ik nog nooit gezien ,maar ik moet wel weer een keer heen want ik heb niet veel kunnen proeven omdat ik snel vol ben .maar zeer vriendelijk personeel en van mij een dikke tien ,ook heel kindvriendelijk ,speeltoestellen ,en ik ben nog zoveel vergeten op te noemen, maar ik zou zeggen ga heen en beleef het ,want alles is er te krijgen van patat en frituur tot biefstukken ,v an alles heb m'n ogen uit gekeken

Een iets uitgebreidere saladebar om bijvoorbeeld ook je salade zelf te kunnen samenstellen zou fijn zijn. Toen we de eerste ronde gingen halen moest mijn zoon 20 min wachten op een mini pizza terwijl er 5min aangegeven stond op het bord. Iets langer is tot daaraan toe maar 20min of 5 min is groot verschil. Dan had hij liever voor iets anders gekozen of had besteld en intussen iets anders gegeten. Smaak is wel goed. Indeling van het eten vind ik ook nog steeds niet heel fijn. Weet ook niet goed hoe anders, maar voelt vaak of je in het looppad staat te wachten.

Heel gezellig en ruime keuze uit verschillende soorten dines. Gezellige sfeer en klantvriendelijk personeel.

Prima gegeten met uitzicht over de haven.

Mensen heel vriendelijk en gastvrij ,maar het buffet wat klaar was in bakken viel me erg tegen . De gebakken spek was t enige dat nog lekker was het ligt te lang in de bakken dus zit r niet mooi meer uit en droog . De grill, wok ,bakplaat, waren prima even als de vis hoek

Ik ben op zich niet zo gecharmeerd van het concept, maar goed, je bent met een groep en het gaat om de gezelligheid. En dat is geslaagd 😊 Het eten is geen haute cuisine maar zeker niet slecht. Dus geen slapgekookte groenten maar lekker knapperig. De acoustiek kan beter, het geluid is bij een goed gevulde zaal irritant en verhindert een goed gesprek met je tafelgenoten.

Superplek, lekker eten. Alleen duurt het wel lang voordat het vlees klaar is.

Geweldige sfeer en toch ook in zijn grote een persoonlijke intieme sfeer weten te creëren. En altijd vrolijke bediening.

Veel van het kant en klaar eten was koud soep niet warm rijst en mihoen was koud grill vlees zeker niet lekker. Wok was wel goed en de bakplaat was wel lekker dat vond het grote gedeelte van de mensen blijkbaar. Erg druk hier.

Veel keuze uit verschillende soorten eten : Italiaans, Japans, Vietnamees, Thais, Chinees, Amerikaans en Nederlands. Je kan er onder andere wokken, bbq'en, grill, pannenkoeken en verse pizza laten maken en genieten van het buffet. Wat een echte plus is, is dat ze de allergenen heel overzichtelijk hebben neergezet per gerecht. Zo hoef je niet elke keer te vragen wat er in zit. Voor de echte zoetekauwers is er verschillende soorten ijs, verschillende soorten mousse en lepelgebak. Het personeel is vriendelijk en ze zijn heel netjes. Elke keer dat wij klaren waren met eten, werden onze borden gelijk meegenomen. Wij zeggen, tot de volgende keer! 😉

Eten was er zeker niet goed. Kok wist niet hoe hij biefstukjes medium rare moest bakken en sneed ze zelfs in om te kijken of het wel goed was. Sushi was continu op. Er zijn wel veel betere wereld restaurants.

We hebben lekker gegeten, er was een grote keuze in gerechten en natuurlijk ook toetjes.

Tolles Essen, eine gute Auswahl an Getränken und die Qualität bzw die Frische der Zutaten - richtig gut. Pizza, Wokgerichte, Fisch, Fleisch, Gemüse und eine gute Auswahl an Dessert. Auch für Kaffee ist gesorgt. Wer aber ein ruhiges Essen für 2 sucht, der sollte ein anderes Lokal wählen. Hier ist es laut und man muss mit einer Wartezeit rechnen, wenn man frisch zubereitete Gerichte haben will. Manchmal sind es gut 30Min (am Wochenende). Gebucht wird eine Zeit, die man bleiben möchte und es wird gleich am Anfang bezahlt. Ein gutes Konzept - Preis/Leistung stimmt.

Gezellig om hier te eten, het is ruim opgezet en ook is er voor iedereen wat wils op het gebied van eten. Personeel is vriendelijk. Leuke avond gehad :)

Matige/slechte kwaliteit vlees. Groentegerechten en side-dishes zijn beter. Vriendelijk personeel en de sfeer is gemoedelijk. Ben je een echte vleeseter dan is dit restaurant minder geschikt voor je wegens de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding. Zeer geschikte plaats voor kinderen met vele faciliteiten en makkelijke gerechten
