Taste of Suriname in Wijk 26 Bezuidenhout

Well, I'm used to some good Surinamese sandwiches, so maybe I'm being too critical, but these really didn't make me happy. Dry, curry and soy-sauced chicken sandwiches. Bland and not very sour. I'll be looking for another Asian store soon.

Delicious food and friendly people

Ordered 4 sandwiches (!), but after 2.5 hours, they still hadn't arrived. Since we had to leave via the station, we stopped by to report this. Unfortunately, we didn't receive any compensation, as the delivery driver was reportedly on his way at that exact moment. No apology or acknowledgement was forthcoming either. What a shame!

Top roti 👌 The sweet rumble of the trams overhead is a bit less, but that's also part of the mingle mush experience.

Picked up here last Friday. Super nice people and because of the crowds I apologize that they forgot to give something at the end. The prices are on the high side, but that is normal given the location and if it is of good quality you will pay for it. When we got home we discovered that the roti roll was no longer good. The potato tasted sour and we had to throw away the entire roti roll as we didn't want to get sick. For the rest, the satay was fine and the wings, but since the rotirol was missing, we were still hungry afterwards, so it was a waste of money for the rotirol and a pity that it was not good.

Boring food bordering on inedible! I could make better food at home any day and at a better price! The roti roll was not good Only one server, and all food is pre cooked and only assembled here Bad. Will never go again

If you feel like learning more about the human body. Order a roti here. Within a few hours you will experience what it is like to use your intestines optimally! Grumpy saleswoman. Small bowl of roti for a good price.

I bought saoto soup. Omg!!! Really not tasty!! The rice really cold, vegetable, egg. Saoto's soup is really not tasty. The service is very poor, unfriendly employee. The first time and last time.

Terribly sad and tasteless curry chicken sandwich. If it can't be fresh and wholesome, stop it.

Have eaten or picked up something here several times. Today I got a Bara chicken with a colleague. This one was way too greasy...it was heated up in the microwave, the beans were still cold and unappetizing. The sambal was extremely watery. Afterwards we both felt nauseous. What a downer! Don't come back here again

Food is seasoned well and tastes really good, although the noodles felt a bit reheated. Also says on the website that it takes 5 minutes to get your order which is not true, takes more than 20 minutes. But overall would have food here again!!!

UPDATE! They moved. There's 2 women in the kitchen. They're great. At first i wasn't pleased i have to be hounest. The food was good but they lacked in service. Someone unexperienced ran the counter and that did not run smooth. Now, in their new location in minglemush i met 2 ladies today who were so nice and hospitable. That's profesional, be yourself and show your love for your customer. There are not many places in this area where you can eat like this. Its full of TASTE and healthy too. I had roti kip filet take a way and it was lovely. This is a winner go try yourself. Like i said food was already good now service is up to great level thank to these ladies. Love for you! Five stars for you all the way.

Heerlijke authentiek Surinaams eten. Keuze uit een ruim assortiment zoals Roti, (gevulde) barra, pastei, soto soep, diverse soorten broodjes. Beslist de moeite van het bezoeken waard en anders gewoon via Thuisbezorgd.

Heel vriendelijk personeel. Restaurant zag er schoon en gastvrij uit. Nu alleen meenemen ivm lockdown. Roti kipfilet was lekker, kip mals, groenten goed op smaak. Had idee dat sperziebonen waren beetgaar maar ivm prijs en invoer beperkingen van kouseband logisch. En ik ben gek op kerrie aardappelen van een Surinaamse vriendin, dus beetje verwend daarin. Bara was lekker en werd met saus apart geserveerd. Personeel kan niet wachten om weer gewoon open te gaan als weer mag en werk er met enthousiasme.
