Taverne 't Hof in Wijk 03 Maarheeze

Delicious food and very friendly staff

Beautiful surroundings, location also okay, service good

Delicious food. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly service.

Highly recommended! Not very cheap.

Highly recommended. The food is super delicious. An explosion of flavors. Everything is perfect. The staff is also very friendly and know what they are doing. We will definitely come back again.

We found it by chance on our way to Utrecht. It’s just a 5-minute drive from the highway, so very easy to reach. The food is really tasty: the meat is tender and melts in your mouth. The coffee was boiling hot, exactly as we had asked. A great find!

Delicious food with warm service. The duck is really well cooked, highly recommended.

Top restaurant, had the 5-course menu and everything was great for a good price. Also, good explanation after each dish and the flavors were well balanced.

The two of us dined here. It was quite full, but the service was good and very friendly. The drinks arrived quickly, and they kept a close eye on whether our glasses were empty. The appetizer—eel and carpaccio—was delicious and beautifully presented. The main courses were also very tasty and certainly large enough, with delicious fries. Highly recommended if you're in Maarheeze.

I didn't post a photo. But we popped in after a visit to the area. What a lovely place. And a regular lunch, but everything was perfect. Bread with croquettes and bread with fried eggs. Look at the lovely garnish with pickled onions 😋 By the way, the coffee is delicious. Schrobbelaar, a glass from the freezer, makes me happy too! And my wife really enjoyed the Chardonnay. That's another plus. We'll be back ⏪ and right next to the A2

We loved the atmosphere, the food, and the desserts. We have a favorite place in Maarheeze!

A wonderful place for lunch. Our spicy chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious. Friendly service and a delicious latte! In short, highly recommended!

It was very busy. The starter was excellent. The main course was okay but could have been better. The kitchen couldn't cope. The service was excellent.

We stopped because of an accident on the A2, yesterday. The service was wonderful but the food was extraordinary. I came from Florida, US and we do have great but this food was beyond I have ever experienced . Thank you !

A very nice brasserie for lunch or dinner. We had lunch there during our family day. The portions are very generous and delicious. Highly recommended!

Last night, I had the 4-course surprise menu at Hof van Mares with two former colleagues. What a delight. Cozy modern ambiance, good/relaxed furniture. And the food was delicious. Everything was perfectly prepared and served. Compliments.

Very cozy, delicious food, friendly staff, absolutely great!👌

Always a treat to eat here. Delicious food, hospitable staff, and a wonderful experience every time!

We ate excellent mussels, the tables were very close together.

The surprise menu they serve here is truly outstanding! Refined, culinary, with beautiful products and flavors. The à la carte and lunch options are more basic. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There's a lovely terrace and a great atmosphere.

What can you say about this? Everything is just perfect... Delicious food, beautiful setting... Highly recommended!!!

Had a lovely lunch. During a very nice bike ride, stopped here. Warmly welcomed by a young lady. The young man was also very friendly. Ordered a club sandwich and a 12 o'clock. The food was more than fine. So if you want to stop here during a bike ride. Definitely do it

Super friendly and neat service, nice atmosphere, delicious dishes. Top hostess and also top assistants. Definitely ***** It's a shame that we live in North Holland otherwise we would come more often. But if we are in the area we will definitely come back. Hospitality as it should be. It is simply possible!!!

Delicious food and friendly staff.

Delicious food, surprise menu where wishes and allergies are taken into account. Fresh ingredients, seasonal, high quality! Top staff, they make it complete.

Really very good and tasty Really recommended Daan is a true sommelier Here they really court you

disinterested service, food quality mediocre and too expensive, had steak tartare and am still sick of it

Unfortunately. After doing some work, we settled down here on the terrace. There were about three tables occupied on the terrace and there were plenty of waitresses walking around. Unfortunately, after about ten or fifteen minutes we left. No hello, no one came for a long time to order a drink and give us the menu. Apparently we were invisible. Annoying experience.

Nicely decorated café, lunch menu is varied. Also efficient operation.

Delicious food with great service.

Delicious dinner in a very cozy atmosphere. Cheerful and neat service. A number of recommendations (all dishes are top notch, but if you don't know what to choose), the veal loin, lobster soup, the tournedos and pear for dessert are excellent.

Completely renovated business for lunch, dinner and lounge. Update Mar '25: Delicious dinner in atmospheric ambiance, nice service that really goes out of its way for the guests, asset in Cranendonck!

There is a racist security man of Moroccan nationality who treats people rudely, and I'm complaining because I didn't cause any problem and he prevented me from shopping. 4:37 PM I complained to management and they did nothing

Delicious food, great service and just a very cozy restaurant! Highly recommended!

Staff - amazing Food - amazing Prices normal , definitely place to visite and we will be back soon , I mean soon

Delicious lunch with super friendly service.

Delicious food. Buffet was great

Great experience at 't Hof van Máres. The food was tasty and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere cozy. Highly recommended. We will definitely come back!

We had a very pleasant and enjoyable evening. The service is done by a lot of nice, friendly, inexperienced young people. This gives a casual atmosphere. Food is mediocre. The carpaccio in particular was very bad; poor quality meat, tasteless cheese that was supposed to represent the so-called Parmesan cheese, drowned in truffle mayonnaise that contains no truffle. The diamond tenderloin, on the other hand, was well prepared. Had a nice evening here.

A nice place with a warm atmosphere. We had some lovely food there for a reasonable price

5 course surprise menu Was really great! Delicious flavor combinations, super beautiful and well served. We really enjoyed this!

The four of us enjoyed sitting around the fireplace. Thanks for turning this on especially for us (unsolicited) 🤗. Nice big portions, the midday snack is also tasty, good bread, the Burgundian with two deliciously large croquettes! Friendly and good service, and not in English! Greetings from Amsterdam!! We will come back again!

Delicious food, excellent price-quality ratio. Good service.

Delicious surprise menu! Price/quality is very good. Friendly staff! We will definitely come back here again.

Excellent surprise menu, very good price-quality ratio. Please inform us that if the choice of dessert is cheese, this will incur additional costs.

We have a delicious 4-course menu with a high-quality wine arrangement!

Cozy terrace. Nice friendly service and delicious food.

Worth the detour. Excellent dishes, great service.

We found it very noisy for such a quality restaurant, the acoustics were very poor unfortunately!!!

Michelin-like experience at a competitive price! The matching wine arrangement is highly recommended. Compliments to the sommelier!

Delicious food. Friendly staff. Nice cozy restaurant and nice bar. We will definitely come back here for delicious spareribs.

Had lunch here on the way to Valkenburg, great

Very nice restaurant. Delicious food. We had a 3-course surprise menu and all courses were delicious. Nice quantities, with 3 courses you have eaten well without being stuffed. Friendly service.

Ordered the 4 course surprise menu yesterday. It was certainly a surprise. Super tasty food, beautifully presented. Nice professional staff. Top. I'm glad the business is open again. Worth repeating, but then the 5 courses😊😊

Super tasty food! Really worth it. Surprise menu is highly recommended, something for everyone, even if you don't eat certain dishes, they will take this into account! Maarheeze has gained a super good restaurant!!! I definitely recommend it. See you again soon!!

Very nice food. There needs to be some more staff because you have to be patient now. It's a matter of being too good 😂

I don't easily give 5 stars, but everything was perfect here, nice and enough staff who also knew what it was about! Beautiful decor and delicious food, a new favorite for us. We started with bubbles and oysters and then the 4-course chef menu, a feast for the eyes and your taste. We will definitely come back

This restaurant not only offers delicious dishes, but also a cozy atmosphere and wonderful service. The warm atmosphere and attentive staff make the culinary experience here truly special. An absolute must for those looking for good food with a touch of conviviality and hospitality!

Great food, friendly staff. Price quality very good. We will be back, for sure.

Super sweet service!! And had a nice drink and some soup! We will definitely come back Greetings to the walking girls

Had a delicious lunch in very pleasant surroundings and a nice glass of wine.

Maarheeze has another good restaurant on the menu! It will happen to you. You are the new owners of this restaurant, the day of the reopening has arrived, everything is ready, but you receive various sick reports from the staff. This must have caused a lot of stress and frustration! (which was not noticeable by the way) Quickly make some well-known calls to replace the sick person. And to be able to put such delicious food on the table is admirable. And all this, I think, even with maximum table occupancy. The new owners have a fish restaurant background, and that is noticeable, but the meat dishes on the table are also good. We are happy with the innovation that has been undergone in the kitchen. The quality has improved significantly, and the staff is very friendly. Although the friendly staff was also present there before.

A spontaneous stop for lunch turned out to be a real treat. The restaurant was open for the first time today. Cozy decor, friendly people and delicious food. Goodluck!!

Unfortunately closed for no reason... luckily there was a chip shop nearby so we ate there on the way home from the holiday.

Nice place, nice lunch. Too bad about the intersection, but you can't do anything about it 😊

Ma Ma Mia, this was a hell of a nice day for me my second visit to Maarheeze, I decided to treat myself for my birthday with my favorite food, Ice cream and I was so happy to see de groote ice cream trophy 🏆🍨 Shout out to the excellent service at T' Hof, I felt well treated, although I kept my birthday a secret. Shout out to the sweet kid who was playing with Peppa pig toys next to me while I was eating that ice cream, I felt fat and was smiling all the way till the last spoon of ice cream. Eet smakelijk ❤️🐽

Very disappointing experience. As a regular visitor to 't Hof, I took a seat on the minimally occupied terrace with the idea of having lunch. Until the announcement came that lunch was not possible because there was a group of approximately 10 people on the terrace (already generously provided with snacks) and the cook was too busy. Another signal that the Court (still) does not have its affairs in order. It is in stark contrast to the large advertising signs on the edge of the village: "You're almost there!"..

Enjoy a bite to eat outside on the terrace. Friendly staff, who are not pushy but keep a close eye on you. Nothing to complain about.

I have been coming to Taverne 't Hof for many years. Especially when the previous owner still had his business there. In the past we were practically neighbors until we moved. Now it is really a tavern where you can have a drink but also enjoy a delicious meal. Staff are very friendly and the food and drinks are always good. It is definitely recommended if you happen to end up in Maarheeze.

While traveling, during a heavy traffic jam, I took the exit and arrived on spec. Friendly service, nice terrace and delicious food. We would definitely visit again next time we travel! Ps. Somehow we can't upload the photos. It looked as delicious as it was!

Delicious lunch here! Highly recommended for lunch if you are in the area.

Sitting by the fire with a drink and a snack board. Nice ambiance. Unfortunately we were asked to pay 45 minutes before closing time as we were the last 2 guests and they were closing. We hadn't finished a quarter of the snacks yet, but we had to pay for everything. Bad service and unwelcoming.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere

Beautiful, cozy place with very friendly service. Our lunch was fine. I personally thought the price-quality ratio was a bit on the high side.

Lovely place for a rest, nice sitting by the fire, great service

Tasty food, friendly service. Recommended

Nice thing Good location Friendly service Nice lunch

Had a private party there last night. Service and care was perfect.

Had a bite to eat, good for each other. Tasty

Delicious sandwiches and good service!

Cozy place with friendly service

Great terrace, respect for the service who was busy but still did their duties very well and was also friendly (at least to me)... the farmer's omelet was tasty but was a bit disappointing, I missed the vegetables throughout the dish.. .the raw food was fine....I was there on a Sunday afternoon, despite the fact that there was quite a lot of noise at the intersection next to the tavern

Had a nice lunch on our first day of vacation👍.

Very cozy, excellent food and friendly staff. Highly recommended for a cozy dinner.

Super kitchen and friendly service. FEELING OF HOME.

Delicious wolffish meal. Fantastic 👍 Nice staff.

Friendly staff, good food and a reasonable price. 1 small disadvantage: Pepsi instead of Coca Cola..

Excellent coffee and delicious lunches. Atmospheric interior and extremely friendly staff. Permanent address in transit to and from the south, and very conveniently a short distance from the highway.

Cozy restaurant, the dishes could use more attention.

Delicious food. Could have had a little more vegetables with the entrecote. Good service. Too bad it was so quiet in a good restaurant, where you can eat for a good price

Very good, friendly, sincere service and delicious dishes. And how sweet that they brought water for the 2 dogs. In a word, excellent service and delicious pea soup and delicious eggs and carpaccio salad. And the round seating area with fireplace is wonderfully warm and cozy.

Very cozy tavern, really tasty food, friendly staff

Cozy interior and the high tea was good! The middle round with various sandwiches was especially extensive.

Very nicely decorated business in Maarheeze. Modern and attractive. Friendly service. The food was somewhat disappointing, given the pricing it was somewhat below expectations. The prices here are on the higher side anyway. Second experience is much better. Tasty & generous lunch dish. Delicious Thai chicken sandwich with a good spring onion soup.

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Durbuy. Beautiful place, attractively decorated. Good (lunch) menu. We had a nice dinner. Large portions!

What a beautiful restaurant, not only good coffee, but also very tasty food.

Cozy wonderful tasty place, nice staff, all 5/5 !!!

Delicious lunch. Good atmosphere. Friendly service

Tasty lunch and friendly service😊👍

Delicious food. Bouncer and a meat platter! Nice location on the terrace.
