The food here is truly fantastic, with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Willem is a super friendly guy who knows how to please his customers. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good Thai food.

We went to dinner with my wife today. The food was delicious and clearly fresh, not a microwaved meal. We hadn't made a reservation, but because we were early, that wasn't a problem. Next time (which will definitely happen), we'll make a reservation just to be safe. Free parking nearby, so definitely recommended and worth a visit from Rotterdam. All in all, a nice outing for a good price.

The food was good in terms of quality. Just normal as you would expect for the price. But I think we were ripped off about what we ordered: fried rice. This was advertised as a wok dish and is more expensive than everything else we ordered (including meat), that can't be right? So we indicated that this was really too expensive for 1 bowl of rice. They said that it had indeed gone wrong, but this price still had to be paid. Too bad, scandalous price for a bowl of rice

We ate 2 bowls of soup here. The soup was delicious. We enjoyed it very much. Soup was well filled. Good taste.

The main course was really delicious. The fish cakes were very small and dried out, probably due to heating in the microwave? You could tell that one person in the service was too few. The gentleman was not very hospitable. Think the combination of restaurant and takeaway makes it too busy. What is special is the choice of music, Dutch hits, which do not really contribute to the Thai feeling. Nevertheless, we would definitely come back because the food is very tasty.

If the guy running this place was Scottish, he would be the epitomy of 'dour'! However, he does a good job at running the ship and we couldn't fault what actually happened with regard to the service. He brightened up a bit at the end when we said we really enjoyed it. We had the impression that he was a bit stressed, but unnessesarily so! The food was great though and the coconut mushroom and chicken soup was like nothing I've ever had before and totally delicious!

Come in at nine o'clock in the evening with nine people and then ask the manager to put out something tasty; well that was fantastic! That chef can cook wonderfully!

No nonsense restaurant waar je echt heerlijk kan genieten van de Thaise keuken. Gerund door Thaise moeder en zoon en oer Hollandse vader. Sfeer is zeer ongedwongen waardoor je jezelf goed op je gemak voelt. Porties zijn precies goed en de prijzen heel vriendelijk. Echt een aanrader!

Ordered here for the first time tonight. We received an email that the food was on its way. The food arrived at the agreed time. We all thought it was a taste sensation and worth repeating.

I somehow didn't feel welcome and had the feeling that the service wanted to be left alone. The food smelled delicious, I only had one Thai beer and the other guests seemed happy with the food.

Tastiest chicken curry sandwich ever eaten.

That's a hidden gem! We went there because of good rating and we didn't regret it. The owner served us, he was very friendly. His son kooks Thai food that we found very tasty. We will definitely come back there again. Don't have any pics of food as we eat it very fast 🤣 but we took three broodjes with chicken, pork and shrimp, all three were amazing!

I am half Thai myself and you rarely experience Thai food being so tasty in the Netherlands. A real Thai chef in the kitchen as it should be and that explains why the food was so good! This distinguishes this Thai restaurant from all the other restaurants in Maassluis. We will definitely come back here again!

We ate at Mai Phai once and had it delivered once. The food there was very tasty and authentic Thai, but the home delivery was not good. Almost everything tasted flat and the fresh herbs were hard to find. The food seemed to be prepared by a completely different kitchen and adapted to 'Dutch' tastes. We're not doing it again.

What an amazing little gem! Ate here on the way to the ferry to Harwich. Told the waiter we were catching the boat later that evening and he jumped to it, got us drinks and our food super quickly. The food was fantastic- no other way to describe it! Service top notch! Will definitely come back!

We recently visited Maassluis for the first time since 2019 (we live in the USA and are just now getting back to travel in the Netherlands). While walking around the lovely downtown area, we noticed this Thai Restaurant as something new and decided to give it a try. It was terrific in every way. The inside space has been completely remodeled, so it's modern, attractive and has an open kitchen. The couple who own it have ties to Thailand and their son, who is the chef, spent time in Thailand learning the cuisine. One of the owners was there that evening and he was so welcoming, worked with us graciously to select items from the menu, and spoke to us about his family and the restaurant. The food was fantastic -- truly some of the best Thai food we have ever had. It's fresh, delicious, beautifully presented. Don't miss this place if you are anywhere near Maassluis!!

We hebben 1x groene curry besteld en 1x massaman curry. We waren net de fiets onderweg naar huis na een lange fietstocht. dus eten meegenomen naar huis. Het was echt zalig zalig zalig. Echt een aanrader! We komen zeker terug!

Good Thai restaurant with a very good chef who makes really great Thai food. I had paneng chicken, and it was very creamy and yummy. Spring rolls were very nice as well as the pad gra pao with egg on it. If I lived here I would be there often to eat. Have outdoor seating and toilet upstairs that was very clean and nice.

Some dishes are bland in taste, sparse with meat and a lot of certain types of vegetables. And celery? Furthermore, the free prawn crackers were inedible and they did not have to add them. The Kaeng panang and the Pad nam mun hoy were tasty.

The food was delicious, we even have some left over, so we can enjoy these dishes again.

Walking through the Market we saw this new business. A Thai in Maassluis? Stepped in to give this a try. Nicely renovated place and friendly staff. The restaurant has only been open for two weeks, so it is understandable that it is not completely finished yet. Food was surprisingly good and very affordable. Coffee machine was still defective, but we received a free cup of coffee from a Senseo. Look, then you understand a little bit how it works. An asset to Maassluis and definitely worth a visit!
