We had an excellent meal at this picturesque restaurant in a historic building on Zuidvliet in Maassluis. Hostess Jolanda provided a warm welcome and a cozy atmosphere. A group of 10 of us dined à la carte, which was quite a challenge for the kitchen. They managed to get the dishes served simultaneously, and there were no flaws. The tenderloin in the Beef Tataki could perhaps have been sliced ​​a bit thinner. The fish dishes were all delicious. Behind the restaurant is a spacious parking lot, which is quite unique for such a downtown location.

Went here for dinner on Wednesday evening with the three of us. I find the atmosphere difficult, Wednesdays are not the busiest evening for the catering industry. It can vary from day to day. Old and authentic building on the harbor of Maassluis. A bit of a living room atmosphere. Delicious food. An appetizer on the house. A chicory soup. I don't like chicory, but I do like this soup. On the sweet side, but tasty. I had a mixed grill of 4 types of meat. All equally tender and delicious. Lamb was my favorite. My wife had the ribeye and my daughter the guinea fowl. We ate a little together and everything was equally delicious. The chef clearly has a passion for his work. Friendly service. The portions were large, so we took the leftovers home. All in all, it was quite satisfactory and highly recommended.

A cozy, inviting, and atmospheric restaurant. A friendly, relaxed waitress who also enjoys casual conversation. The food is delicious and fresh, and it's also suitable for people on a diet or low-salt/low-sodium diet. We started with an amuse-bouche. Then we had freshly baked rolls as a starter. The Lantern Meat Platter is highly recommended, and the Irish steak and pan-fried salmon fillet were also delicious. The price/quality ratio is good. Definitely worth returning. It was also a bonus that our little dog was allowed to come along and was given a blanket to lie on. Tip: Make a reservation in advance, as they fill up quickly.

Yesterday we had a super delicious meal in a charming restaurant where the chef single-handedly provided everyone with a delicious dish. You start with an amuse-bouche from the company, which was a delicious soup. The owner creates a casual atmosphere. Because things are going so well and the chef is on his own, it takes a little longer, but the wait is certainly rewarded. Desserts are also very tasty! The invoice is drawn up from a piece of paper (it is a bit difficult to quickly check yourself) but it fits into the picture.

Last night there was a mussel night and I can truly say that these were the best mussels I have ever eaten. Hostess Jolanda ensures that the evening is pleasant and gives good advice for a possible matching wine. Top service and top food!

I was eating here with a friend on a Wednesday evening (during the week). We were warmly welcomed and offered an appetizer, this smoked paprika soup was really delicious. Ordered 2 bread baskets and a specialty beer and both the meat dish as a main course. Super tasty meat, and enough for an average eater. For dessert I ordered a tiramisu with limoncello and bavarois, both super tasty. The service was really great, very friendly girl who could manage everything on her own. A really great evening and definitely recommended!

Here you can enjoy truly delicious food made with passion and attention, a nice varied menu with attention to allergies, and even options to put together a menu for several people in collaboration with the chef. I think it is a cozy, informal and nice restaurant in a beautiful centuries-old building on the Maassluis canal. Fair prices and value for money, you're like how do they do that! Went for dinner last week after a tip. Very quiet to cozy restaurant with very friendly and pleasant service. Not a very large extensive menu, but more than enough to choose from. The appetizer beforehand was very nice, a soup, personally not really my thing, taste was okay. The beef capaccio starter was very tasty, nice baguette with tapenade and herb butter from the house. Main course very good, with very tasty side dishes of vegetables and salad. Good wine. Fortunately, soft drinks from bottles are not from pumps. Unfortunately, dessert no longer fit, except for a small mistake (which was immediately resolved), a very successful evening to go back to again!
