I placed an order using the tablet in the store. Then I tried to tell the owner that I didn't want cucumber on my burgers, but got a "Is it your turn yet?" reply. It happens; he might have thought I was trying to order and was just beeping. Communicating was difficult, and I was judged as nervous. Eventually, I was able to tell him what I wanted. So, when I received my order, I double-checked to make sure it was correct. The owner initially made a lame joke, "No...", but eventually confirmed it was correct. So, I left the store feeling good. I got home, and there was cucumber on my burger... That's just blatant lying, and I'm not happy about that.

I had previously worked there for six months or so and was threatened several times, once hit with the side of a knife, the boss also once made my friend cry, the food is okay, but the boss has to go immediately, no respect for people of color while he I am a man of color myself, there were always reactions to me that were not respectful because I came from another country. It was always fun with my old colleagues until the boss came in. Super cozy (fast food) restaurant, where your fries taste just that little bit better. Their satay caresses your tongue, and the burgers are super good. Recently had something made in their oven with chicken fillet, portion size was large and the taste was delicious! They also have delicious ice cream and coffee.

I was in the mood for fries with cheese souflee, and bami roll was just delivered (I ordered it with it), a tasty bami roll well filled with some spicy noodles and meat.

Well-maintained place with very friendly service and delicious fries and snacks.

Staff is friendly to help you. But the Atmosphere is not nice or cozy. And the owner is not always so friendly. If that changes then I can give you 4 stars.

It looked more like a restaurant than a snack bar... But it was the best of both! The food was ready quickly like a snack bar and the quality was of a restaurant! I ordered a hamburger and it was so delicious! You could really taste that it came from the barbecue. The fries were also sublime! My mother had the satay and she said it was the best she had ever eaten. The peanut sauce really tasted like peanuts! The staff was also friendly despite us arriving before closing time. Nice owner, really creates the atmosphere!

Once but never again! A kwekkeboom croquette sandwich, 2 frikandel special sandwiches, 2 medium fries (got 2 small ones) 2 cans of coke and then you have to pay 32 euros, insane for a snack bar. We ordered to eat there but grumpily received a bag with the food.

Owner asked to post a review, so we will do so 😉 Hubby was satisfied (he is fast when it comes to food LOL) but I didn't like it. Fries are okay.. unfortunately they don't sell mayo but only fries sauce.. The peanut sauce is nothing special, very watery and tastes like peanut butter. Croquette was tasteless and not warm.. Not very special and not worth repeating for me.

We were actually going to eat out with a group of 12 at another restaurant, but due to circumstances that could not happen at the last minute. We opted for a quick bite At first we just wanted to pick up. We sat down for a while and decided to stay there for dinner. We received a very nice welcome at Pommies and the owner showed concern for our situation. In the end it was a lot of fun and we hung around for quite a while. At the end we also got a cup of coffee on the house 😀

We were in Maassluis to visit Koningshof (Beatrice van der Poel), and first "dropped in" at Pommies. A warm welcome with a good dash of humor, we like that. We of course accepted the invitation to taste a satay and do a “fries test”. Result: delicious. You are not greeted when you enter, the young lady and gentleman were far too busy with each other (because there were no other customers) now a friend of the young man comes in and is greeted exuberantly (so they can do it ). If you say anything, excuses are made, you were already standing at the column, well, so greetings don't hurt and you can also do that when ordering at the column (we had no other choice because we were completely ignored). A reason for us not to come there anymore. This is the first thing you learn when you deal with customers, greet the customer for their concerns for your salary!

Delicious fries! I am from Rotterdam and have been living in Maassluis for two years. I miss 'Brammetje', but Pommies is a very good replacement. The Dubblelicious is also very tasty. Not the cheapest, but certainly the tastiest fries shop in Maassluis!

Good food. Fries are still crispy when you get home so that's always a good sign. Too much salt/flavor enhancers in the chicken burger, much less should be used, it will give you a very dry mouth. Most modern business in Maassluis. Hopefully they will last a long time and the quality will always remain the same. Edit: On my second visit I tried the regular burgers, the burger itself was good, but I wasn't a fan of the sauce on it, it tasted like just curry sauce actually, and that shouldn't be on a burger, so make your own sauces, and will taste even better. Fries also good.

The fries here are clearly the best in Maassluis, the peanut sauce here is really not tasty. Inside it looks neat and professional, so the quality is good. Employees are friendly. Prices are extremely high at 3.50 for just fries. For a family of 4, you can easily spend between 20 and 25 euros for fries and a snack. You can also get Indonesian or Chinese rice table for that.

Tastiest fries in all of Maassluis!!

What a trendy place this is to have a tasty snack. It doesn't feel like a snack bar but a restaurant. The furnishings are completely contemporary. To feast your eyes... Everything you order and eat on site is served in baskets and on plates. So no disposable plastic containers like you get in a 'standard chip shop'. The service is very friendly and the food is on the table quickly. My son Ferdi had small fries and chicken nuggets. That made our jaws drop. Real freshly prepared chicken nuggets. No factory nuggets. These were incredibly tasty. The fries were nice and warm and crispy. A very clean and tidy place! We will come back here more often...

Ordered by telephone and then collected fifteen minutes before closing time. 2 large fries were more than enough for 4 people. Fries are tasty. Due to hospital treatment, time constraints. So I ordered some food in the shop that was open on Monday. It turned out to be a snack bar with the appearance of a restaurant. So we didn't take it home but enjoyed the food there. What an experience. As Rijnmonders, we know the level of Bram Lasagne. But the served fries from POMMIES also break that comfort.
