Gluten-free is taken into account. Indicated this in advance when booking and they immediately discussed it when taking us to the table. Simply order from the general menu and a gluten-free version is available. Delicious food and no problems afterwards. Friendly staff and affordable.

This is a wonderful venue for celebrations. We recently held a birthday party there and had a great time. The food was delicious and we all enjoyed it very much. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

The experience was okay but not great. The service was average—when we tried to order drinks, we were loudly told (as if in school) that we should wait for the waiter instead of trying to get their attention, as they were busy. Not the most welcoming approach. The food was nothing special. The pumpkin soup came in what looked like an espresso cup—definitely not what we expected in terms of portion size. The main dish was a simple piece of pork, which didn’t quite match the expectations for a "chef’s choice." Overall, it wasn’t a very bad experience, but honestly would doubt going there again.

Unintentionally retro. The atmosphere and food transported back to the eighties. The service is super friendly and that is the best thing about the entire restaurant.

The restaurant is very attractively decorated. Medieval style. We were taken to our pre-reserved table for four people. We started with an aperitif, prosecco. A basket with slices of white and brown bread was brought with spreads. We opted for the 4-course surprise menu. We were politely asked if we had any allergies. That was not the case. The courses were all delicious. Tastefully matched. With space between the corridors, which really made for an evening out.

Delicious food in a very casual atmosphere. The decor matches the name. We sat by the fireplace with a view of the harbor. My parents enjoyed the veal liver, my wife had a fine Angus steak cooked the way she wanted it and the pepper sauce on the side, I was the happy recipient of the delicious duck. My wife was also able to have exactly what she wanted for dessert and my parents shared a grand dessert together. All in all a very good and tasty experience. Compliments to the chef. We would love to come here again!

We had dinner here with friends. Were welcomed by friendly staff. 2 different starters (goat cheese and salmon) and 3 different main courses (pheasant, deer, fish) were all prepared with care and tasted delicious. The wine was also tasty. Great place to go out for a nice meal with friends

The waiting times were far too long. Ice cold starter, meat undercooked, sauce without flavour. Vegetarian dish was good. Service too. Hence still 2 stars.

The food was tasty and tasty, but very small portions for the main price, the place looks shabby, downright neglected and certainly not fresh, see the photos that speak for themselves. This concerns the central heating radiator in the toilet where the holes are almost rusted, the toilet door that has been cleaned for 3 years and where the paint has completely worn off, and a dirty air vent. The rest was pretty much the same, it's unbelievable that others don't see this.

Spent a Saturday evening here with 5 people. Quiet surroundings, time for conversations, delicious food, good wine advice, a few good whiskeys. Very friendly service. In my opinion, highly recommended!

The restaurant looked dated inside. Spider webs on the torch lamps. No music. The cook wiped his sweat from his forehead with the same hands he used to prepare the food. The food was mediocre, nothing special, small portions. We had a starter and a main course. Both went to the toilet afterwards, dirty stains everywhere on the doors and white mold on the joints. So we thought we'd better leave dessert alone.

Had dinner at Camelot for the third time. After two excellent experiences, this time we opted for the 4-course surprise menu. What delicious food, what an artistic chef! A perfectly matching wine pairing and very friendly and competent service completes the party. The price/quality ratio is certainly reasonable. This is a must for every discerning eater. Truly a positive culinary experience!

Ben je een liefhebber van lekker eten en heb je geen specifieke voorkeuren, laat je hier dan gerust verrassen met het verrassingsmenu. Wij zijn hier nu 2 keer geweest en hebben beide keren dit menu genomen, heerlijk! Nooit geen spijt van en samen met een zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer (chef) genoeg reden om snel weer te gaan. Voor de (wijn)liefhebber is een bijpassend wijnarrangement dan ook een aanrader.

Eating out with two households, where my boyfriend and I are also vegan, is not always easy during corona times. At Camelot this was not a problem. An extra large table had been arranged and because we had reserved early, the chef had the time to prepare an excellent surprise menu for us, which was slightly different from what you usually get. It is clear that the chef loves his profession. In short: if you have special dietary requirements, make a reservation and let us know your wishes, but you will also get good food.

Wanted to eat vegan but there was not a single vegan dish on the menu. Kok then made something that I found not very tasty. Service is also forced to be customer friendly with little genuine interest.

Tonight we were invited by my sister-in-law and brother-in-law to have a bite to eat at Camelot. How authentically decorated, as if you were in an old castle, really cool! We had a delicious meal, everything looked neat and beautifully prepared. Service was very friendly and helpful. Camelot restaurant is highly recommended!!!

Cozy restaurant that is decorated inside like a medieval knight's hall. It is a small restaurant with very friendly hostesses. The dishes are very tasty, especially the surprise menu is highly recommended. Location is in the old center of Maassluis near the water. If you like quality and an intimate setting, this is a good choice!

The quality was tasty but certainly not overwhelming. The service was exaggerated and did not come across as sincere, and the service also lacked any knowledge of the dishes. In addition, the dessert was not fresh but prepared and the whipped cream was soured and dried out. The cheesecake was too bad to be called a cheesecake. Worth anything but €50 per place setting.

Nice restaurant in the old town of Maassluis. Ate here twice with a group. Food is not bad, but more exclusive than a meal portion for the somewhat hungry person. The vestibule of the toilet room gives off an unpleasant odor, which is a turn-off for a restaurant. Average meal takes 2 to 3 hours for 3 courses.
