overpriced food that tastes like very cheap. I had number 117 and in the past I have tasted other food and bad! mixing ketchup with Solamylom (thickener) consistency like snot from the nose. Greased. We had food with us. very bad !!!!

Just what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. Not too expensive and plenty to eat. The oldest and only Chinese restaurant left in Maassluis, I believe.

Food meh. I had Gado Gado with noodles. It was cold and had to be microwaved at home (a 5-minute drive). The noodles were barely filled (almost just white strands) and the whole thing was bland. It had hardly any flavor. On top of that, I had to wait more than half an hour for it. No second time for me. The staff were friendly, though.

I used to give this 5 stars. I can no longer stand by that. The Chiu Yim Kai has been the absolute worst I’ve ever had for about a year now. And it is just getting worse. Otherwise, it has become a run-of-the-mill, typically Dutch Chinese takeaway. Unfortunately, for me at least, it has fallen significantly from its pedestal.

This Chinese place is really going downhill. I got Chinese takeout last week, it was absolutely inedible, and believe me, it used to be delicious. Such a shame.

And honestly, the food is always good. Always. The portions are wonderfully generous—just right: not too small, not "I need to unbutton my pants," but comfortably full. Pro tip: order the three-course menu. The Cantonese Koe Loe Kai is especially excellent here, and dangerously delicious. The Mongolia Beef is also highly recommended: wonderfully spicy and full of flavor. It's one of those dishes that makes you think halfway through: why don't I order this every time? Plus, you see friendly, familiar faces serving here. That gives you that old-fashioned good feeling: they know the menu, they know the customers, and they do everything with a smile. In short: a very nice, familiar, and above all, very tasty place. The name says it all: The Golden Bowl

We always get delicious Chinese food there with friendly staff, although it is a bit of a bike ride. We are happy to do that. And when we get home, it is still warm. Great.

Tastiest Chinese food in Maassluis! I am completely in love with their rice, I have not tasted it anywhere else as good as it is here. They have a tasty 3 choice menu and the food is always ready quickly. Calling and ordering in advance is recommended due to the popularity of the tent. It is also possible to eat in the restaurant, but we have not done this yet. Nothing further to complain about on collection. Too bad they don't deliver. You can easily park on the square in front, where there is always a spot somewhere. If you have to wait a long time, you can quickly go to the Lidl for a small message. The price here is slightly higher than other similar restaurants.

Just had dinner there. Small cozy restaurant. Extensive map. Delicious food. Super hospitable and kind to small children. We had a starter, our son did not. We were politely asked if his food (Children's menu) could be added to our starter or if we would also start with our main course. These are little things that I really appreciate. We will definitely eat there again.
