What an incredibly nasty experience. I walked into this restaurant because I urgently needed to use the toilet and politely asked if I could use it. I was immediately told no, which is, of course, her choice. Because I really could barely hold it in any longer, I then politely asked if it might be possible if I paid for it, for example, one euro. From that moment on, however, I was spoken to in an incredibly unfriendly and demeaning manner. The woman was clearly irritated and snapped at me, even though I was just asking a normal question because I was in dire need. When I indicated that I wasn't attacking her and was just asking, I was even told to shut up. I found that truly bizarre and totally disrespectful. You can refuse someone permission to use the toilet, but the way you treat someone afterward says everything about the service. I felt treated incredibly unkindly and disrespectfully. For me, this is absolutely not a place I would ever go into again.

Cozy restaurant. Not too big. At the time it was chilly inside; in my opinion, the air conditioning was set too low. It could not be adjusted, which is a shame. But that doesn't detract from the quality, which was fine. Extensive menu. Children's menu available. Friendly staff. Ample parking.

I thoroughly enjoyed my brie sandwich with lots of extras. A real winner, and the whole place is, by the way. Friendly staff, very attentive, clean, and humorous. They use a good workflow. As soon as the food is ready, a clear-sounding bell rings. The music is hip but certainly not overpowering. The atmosphere has a hotel look, both inside and outside on the terrace. They listen carefully to customers regarding any requests not on the menu. They look and discuss. It's also nice that the staff is just slightly older than average, but they outshine the youngsters.

Had a tasty and quick meal. A bit too many potato things. Fried, deep-fried puree and colored little turds.

Outrageous! We ordered for four people. The menu clearly stated, and we asked the waiter, that each meal included salad, fries, and potatoes. For four people, we received one bowl of fries, one bowl of potatoes, and one bowl of salad. However, we paid for four meals and expected four bowls of fries, four bowls of salad, and four bowls of potatoes. When we pointed this out, we were told to finish our meals, then ask if we could have more, and they would bring it to us. Unbelievable! At the end of the discussion, we reiterated that the bill would be separate. They shouted loudly into the kitchen, and another bowl was brought to our table. We expected three more bowls, not just one (see photo). A rip-off! We've lost our appetite. Update: We're sitting on the toilet with stomach aches. The kitchen hygiene needs to be urgently inspected.

Had lunch here today. Extensive lunch menu with reasonable prices. Friendly and efficient service. The food was also on our table within a reasonable time. Tasty food at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

The most awful place I've ever experienced today. The female server politely welcomed me and my girlfriend. Then my partner came over to say hello. A woman came over and asked, "What would you like to drink?" My partner explained that he was observing Ramadan and that he was just saying hello. The woman indicated that he wasn't allowed to sit there without a drink. By that point, we'd already ordered several drinks. The woman told my partner to leave the terrace. Across from us was a gentleman of Dutch descent who sat there for 20 minutes without eating or drinking anything, and the woman had a very pleasant conversation with him. I've never experienced such a horribly racist situation. I only recommend this place to blondes!

We received a friendly welcome, and ordering drinks went smoothly. After that, we had to wait a long time before we could order our food. We were told it wasn't busy, otherwise it would have been understandable. The food took a long time to arrive, and the waitress finally came to tell us that the cordon bleu was unfortunately burnt (!) and that a new one was being made. Okay, oh well, it happens. All in all, we waited an hour for our food, but then it finally arrived! The cordon bleu (a breaded schnitzel of veal, pork, or chicken, filled with cheese and ham, fried until golden brown) turned out to be a regular schnitzel with a bit of stew on top, with some parts still quite dark brown. The other guest had ordered cod with mustard sauce, but got salmon! This was corrected fairly quickly. Surely there was some kind of "compensation" offered for all this? A drink, a cup of coffee, or dessert? No, an apology was given, but that was it. All in all, an extremely disappointing experience.

One star is still too much. How can they serve raw pork belly? After reporting this to the waitress, she took it back to the chef. He fluffed it up, and after two minutes, it came back. Still raw. Let's hope we didn't get food poisoning. We were allowed to pay, by the way. What a terrible chef and restaurant. Yuck!

We ate here on April 4th and it was delicious and plentiful. It was quiet, though, as there weren't many visitors.

The fresh fish soup is highly recommended! And the meat dishes are deliciously flavorful. There's always great music and the place is spotlessly clean! The atmosphere among the staff is also always relaxed. Simply a great place to go!

Nice small-scale restaurant. I didn't like the food as much. I had the sirloin steak which was very light in color (greyish) straight from the freezer and my companion had satay. An hour later I was sitting on the toilet with a lot of stomach pain and so on for the rest of the night. My companion also suffered from this. Very unfortunate because it is a really nice restaurant with nice staff and I sincerely hope that they will do something about this. Unfortunately we won't be coming back here again

Had a very bad experience today. I ordered a chicken satay with fries. The chicken thigh fillet was pink in the center. I reported this to the waiter. Shortly afterwards an old man (who called himself a chef) came and, without looking to see if it was true, said that the chicken thigh fillet should be pink from the outside. That is also true, but the chicken was raw on the inside, not fried. I told him that I had also been a chef. I received a rude answer “then you have to go back to school quickly” and turned around and walked away again. I had a normal conversation with this old man. If you were a real chef, you would have brought the plate or you would have watched with me first. What a rude old man. Who was probably stressed and distracted trying to serve a party that had been booked by other customers later in the day. I think 1 is very bad that I experienced that the meat was raw and 2 that the cook reacted associatively. I am a well-known entrepreneur in the Westland myself. I will not recommend anyone to eat here and because the old man reacted like that (treated me badly) I took pictures of the chicken. I deliberately don't post it here on Google. Then this place will no longer get any customers and they could go bankrupt. I don't want to go that far. But I have just reported the photos to the NVWA. Good luck and never again for me!

What a nice and cozy restaurant this is. Pleasant and nice service. First we had a cappuccino, super tasty with a delicious Easter pastry recommended by the waiter. Came back later for lunch, also highly recommended. My girlfriend had an egg roll and I had a goat's cheese salad, which was really tasty. I will definitely come here more often.

Never been treated so disrespectfully. My disabled group had to go to their toilet out of necessity and before I could ask anything I was shouted at in the presence of my other mentally disabled group. Inhuman!

I came to live in Maassluis in March. I've been there for dinner, lunch and for iced coffee in the afternoon. Cozy atmosphere, hospitable and quick service. You are entitled and a nice hostess. I am a covered Turkish woman and have never once felt like I was being viewed negatively. The food is delicious, compliments to the chef. I especially loved the vegetarian peppers. With salad and baked potatoes and don't forget the unique apple pie. That was really great. Last Saturday I had a really delicious cheese board with toast in the afternoon. Bye :).

Ordered: salmon & steak with chicken livers Negatives: - when ordering the steak, we were not asked how we wanted it cooked (it was a bit too rare) - salmon was a bit on the pricey side, tasty but not very special. Also looked a bit 'bland' - it was a bit noisy in the shop, perhaps people know each other (a lot of loud talking back and forth) Pros: - friendly service and hostess, a lot of attention to the guests (5 stars for the service alone) - cozy restaurant, nice atmosphere, friendly - one of the best coffees ever had here! - food was good, tasty. Delicious with potatoes, fries, vegetables and salad! I would give 4 stars for the food, but I would give the overall experience 5 stars! It's also nice that there is a lot of personal attention for the guests!

Fantastic! Since we live in Maassluis (a month now) we have been here every weekend, for lunch or a drink, with the kids or without. Fantastic! Super nice team works there, very hospitable, friendly, they are made for hospitality, they have experience and know their guests. Kitchen and chef is also very good and food is tasty . Wonderfully relaxing. Keep it up.
