We had a reservation, which was accepted, but the place was closed upon arrival. This was a real downer!

Have eaten here twice now. We had a very nice evening both times. A restaurant with class, yet a nice and relaxed atmosphere. The food is an experience for your taste buds. The hosts complete it with their expert knowledge and the serving of matching wines. Be surprised by the chef's menu!

We had a memorable experience here with a fantastic meal. The food was described , explained and presented with style. Fine dining in a minimalist setting which all combines to deliver a wonderful night out. Congratulations on your restaurant and continued success.

A very good restaurant in the center of Maassluis. Attentive service, excellent food. A bit pricey, though.

We have been sitting here at least every week since it opened, we consider it our second living room. Quality is always good in all aspects: fantastic wine knowledge, excellent food, good service and wonderful atmosphere.

Had lunch here for the first time on Sunday. What a nice place and warm welcome. Enthusiastic sommelier/employee and beautiful dishes on our plates. Pictures to see and the flavors were well balanced. We work a lot with umami, the Japanese word for ''tasty'' and ''savoury''. That's exactly right! nice new address in the pleasant square of Maassluis.

Delicious dishes with good wines!

This is an evening of enjoyment, delicious dishes and the wines complete it. We had a lovely time outside on the terrace. What a cozy place!

Delicious food, good service. By default, we always opt for the menu at restaurants. The same here and it was well received. Delicious flavors and you are not 'stuffed' with a box of fries, but the focus is on the dishes. The wine was also very tasty with the dishes. Good explanation of the wines.

I recently had the opportunity to enjoy a 5-course dinner at Wijnrestaurant Grand Cru in Maasslsuis through a SocialDeal offer. Overall, it was a good deal, particularly with the inclusion of half glasses of wine with each course. The restaurant made excellent wine selections throughout the evening, enhancing the dining experience. The food, for the most part, was delicious and flavorful, but there were a few areas that could use improvement. The main drawback of the evening was the lukewarm temperature of the dishes. Although the flavors were good, the lack of warmth detracted from the overall enjoyment. The main course, which consisted of a delicate fish, also had some inconsistencies in preparation. While my dish and one other person's were cooked properly, two of the guests at our table received raw fish, which was disappointing. When we brought this issue to the attention of the maitre'd, his initial response was annoyed, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. However, he did recover later and became friendlier after dessert. Speaking of dessert, it was a highlight of the evening. The dessert not only tasted great but also looked like a true masterpiece on the plate. To make up for the earlier fish mishap, the table was given additional confectioneries to enjoy after dessert, including delicious coconut macaroons made by the chef. As a lover of coconut, this was a delightful surprise. I decided to complement the dessert with an Irish Coffee, which was a bit pricey (slightly over 10 euros) but turned out to be the best I've had so far in the Netherlands. The real, unsweetened cream used in the coffee was a welcome touch. Before leaving, I had a pleasant conversation with the maitre'd, which helped alleviate some of the earlier tension. As for whether I would return to Wijnrestaurant Grand Cru, it's a bit of a toss-up. While there were some standout moments, the issues with the main course and the initial reaction from the staff were off-putting. However, I believe there is potential for improvement, and the overall experience was enjoyable enough to warrant another visit in the future.

This afternoon we happened to walk past. We ate super tasty snacks and drank good wine. Service was very relaxed. Highly recommended. Compliment.

Lunch at Grand Cru Maassluis. We enjoyed the food, the beautiful restaurant and the nice service, who explained everything in detail about the wines and the delicious dishes. Definitely worth going to. A plus was certainly that the cook/owner came to ask if everything was to your liking. Hospitality at its best.

Very tasty food, nice atmosphere and wonderfully friendly service. In addition to the 4-course lunch package, there is also a surprising appetizer and bread basket with all the accompanying spreads such as butter served at room temperature, first-class olive oil and sea salt. By using a social deal voucher, everything for a very reasonable price. All in all highly recommended!!

Genoten van een vijf gangen diner met alles erop en eraan, eten prima met als minpunt het hoofdgerecht, een niet echt mals staartstuk; de wijnen waren uitstekend en de gastheer perfect.

Verrassend restaurant in Maassluis. Bij binnenkomst zie je meteen de wijn koelkasten die een hele wand beslaan. Ontvangst is prima, we kregen naast de champagne kaart ook een amuse. Prima keuze uit wijnen van betaalbaar tot prijzig, zowel per glas als per fles te bestellen. Wij hadden het 5 gangen menu en daar zat in zowel smaak als hoeveelheden een prima opbouw in. De gerechtjes waren erg mooi opgemaakt en goed op smaak. We hebben heerlijk gegeten- als we een klein lintje van kritiek mogen hebben dan mag het uiteindelijke hoofdgerecht wat vlotter doorkomen en de wijn die per glas wordt geschonken iets minder zuinig. Verder zeker een adresje om terug te komen !

Had a delicious meal at Grand Cru Wine Restaurant. The food was also of very high quality and the menu is really beautifully put together with a particularly good choice of dishes. The cutlery and crockery is also beautiful, especially the glasses. The choice to serve old dairy cow was also admirable. What many people don't know is that its meat is actually delicious and has much more flavor. Definitely five stars, but unfortunately there were also some lesser things. We ate à la carte and opted for a before, main and after meal. Unfortunately, we still left with a big appetite, even though we also ordered bread twice. Furthermore, I expect that if you order a serious bottle of wine at the table at a wine restaurant, the waiter will at least have a good story about it. Unfortunately he didn't get any further than "tasty", nothing more than compliments about the service, very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommended if the above points are addressed and absolutely worth a visit!

Wij hadden een verrassingsmenu van 4 gangen met daarbij een wijnarrangement. De wijn paste goed bij de gerechten maar er had wel iets meer in de glazen gemogen, beetje aan de zuinige kant naar mijn mening. De gerechten zagen er goed uit maar wat vlak van smaak. Geen echte smaakexplosies in de mond. Ik ben van mening dat de prijs wat aan de hoge kant is voor wat je er voor krijgt. Ambiance en bediening waren goed.

I had been looking forward to dining at Grand Cru for a long time and yesterday the time had come. It was worth the wait and exceeded all expectations. What delicious dishes, beautifully presented and perfect wines. And also friendly, great service. How I enjoyed it!!!

Service good, plates nicely laid out, food less so: pretentious, not much taste. Amuse was surprising, with veal and anchovy paste; fish was very cooked with good sauce; main course guinea fowl different opinions (on the dry side); mediocre dessert with bland ice cream and unripe peach. The wine was delicious.

I was going to have a bite to eat with my wife and had ordered a glass of wine when I got a call that they needed me because of my work. We didn't have to pay for the wine, which I thought was very special. We will definitely be back, I am a chef myself and know how. you have to deal with your guests, Pierre.

Had dinner last night at Grand Cru, in one word: a culinary experience of the highest order, an asset to Maassluis and the Westland! Freek and Sjoeky.

Enjoyed a Lazy Sunday lunch together yesterday. It is ENJOYMENT from arrival to departure. The dishes are pictures on your plate and delicious. The matching wines were all great, as was the owner's explanation. What an asset to Maassluis! The only comment is that there should be a choice of wine pairing.

What an asset to Maassluis! After only being open for a few days, Grand Cru meets almost all expectations in the field of wine and food. The service is okay, maybe ask a little more if you liked the dish. Also a little more clarity about a possible wine arrangement with the chef's menu. We chose the five-course menu and the first 4 courses tasted great, but the dessert was quite disappointing. My table companions thought so too. The friandises with coffee could be a little more extensive. But a big pass for Youri and his crew. until next time!

The restaurant has only just opened, but you wouldn't think so, the service is excellent. The food is excellent and accompanied by delicious wines. You can enjoy a delicious lazy Sunday lunch in peace and quiet.
