The concept to have two little dishes as a big one is a mess . I ordered one salade thinking that it will be bigger than just a regular starter (that’s what the waiter said to me) but it ended up being the size of my hand and it cost as much as a big one. The total was way too high compare the quantity the I ate .Really did not enjoyed it, really misunderstanding.

We popped in spontaneously and were lucky to find a spot, even though it was so busy on a Monday evening. The service was incredibly friendly, and the concept is perfect for small eaters like us. You can try everything while keeping it very affordable. For big eaters, it's no problem at all, as the portions are more than ample. The wine list isn't extensive, but they offer good wines besides the house wine, even a delicious dessert wine. We returned to the harbor where our boat is moored, happy and pleasantly surprised. We'll definitely be back.

A nice and cozy place with very nice staff. The apple pie and the croquettes on bread are culinary highlights. Also important it is a dog friendly place Our tough brave 4-legged friend always feels at home there.

I had dinner here with my wife yesterday. Made a reservation in the afternoon for the evening. That still worked. A nice restaurant, not too big, and cozy. Atmosphere was casual, excellent service. The food was really delicious. We had fish, meat and vegetarian. And another dessert, everything was great. Not around the corner for us, but we will certainly remember it.

Absolutely brilliant! Options to order half portions which is superb. I often miss out on tasting a 3 course menu as I soon feel full but this wonderful place offers smaller portions so I was able to enjoy 3 courses without feeling bloated. Fantastic flavours. It's all about quality and not quantity.

There is gossip about the guests, which I find very rude. I came here with a friend for a bite to eat after a long busy day and we were happy to finally have a seat. It was said that we sat down like salt bags and that it didn't look right. I also heard that they thought we were vulgar. If you have an opinion about your guests and need to express it if necessary, make sure you do this somewhere else and not in front of them. I find this really strange. The food was tasty, but next time I'll sit with the neighbors across the street.

After cycling 75 kilometers in the blazing sun, we felt like having a snack and a drink. So we went here to rest in the shade. Coziness, cheerful service, delicious food. The fish and vegetarian dishes were not as expected, I miss the compassion in the food. The only bright spot where the food is lacking is compensated by the service. Slightly disappointed after reading the reviews, we left for the fair...perhaps the meat-oriented ones would be better served...

Christmas dinner 4 courses and delivered for four people at the agreed time. We had different dishes per person and everyone was very satisfied. A laminated card was included with the preparation method for each dish. Very convenient and easy. In short, we enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner at home together!

What a gem in the center of Culemborg! The three of us had a wonderful lunch here. According to the concept, you choose 2 dishes from the menu for a complete lunch. It was difficult to choose with so many tasty, original options, but we succeeded. Fortunately, with a small adjustment, 2 vegan dishes could also be ordered, with some help from a friendly employee. When everything was served, we were pleasantly surprised, what a feast for the eyes, the dishes and plates are so beautiful and colorful, and also super tasty, and all for a friendly price. All in all, a very pleasant experience, especially because of the hospitable, kind employees. Highly recommended and, in our opinion, worth repeating.

Best and tastiest restaurant in Culemborg

We had a pleasant evening, thanks to the customer-friendly attitude of the staff, with tasty beers and bitterballen of excellent quality. Daphne in particular gave a personal touch to this evening.

Prima lekkere lunch waarbij je 2 gerechten mag mixen. Had zelf wat extra zout bij de spek gedaan. De frietjes die je apart erbij besteld waren niet super bijzonder. Ook vind ik het fijn als nog even word gevraagd of alles smaakt, dan had ik namelijk ook eerder kunnen aangeven dat ik wit brood had besteld en niet bruin brood. Wel voor herhaling vatbaar verder want het was een eerlijke prijs.

Heerlijk eten, aardige kok, heel prettige bediening. Kom hier graag nog een keer.

Prettige sfeer in een fijne omgeving met plezierig en vriendelijk personeel. Het verassende vonden wij de halve porties waarvan twee verschillende items kunt bestellen. Kortom een goed restaurant met dito keuken.

Het was erg gezellig, maar het eten was helaas minder.

Fantastische high-wine gehad en zoals altijd bij Het Kasteeltje tot in de puntjes goed geregeld. Heerlijke delicatesse hapjes met zeer goed uitgezochte wijnen. Als laatste nog een uitgebreid kaasplankje met een lekkere port die zorgen voor een culinair middagje in Culemborg.

Het Kasteeltje is een sympatiek restaurantje. Ik liep even naar binnen om een kijkje te nemen, maar ik wist niet hoe gauw ik weer naar buiten moest komen, zó benauwd was het er. Beetje ventilatie zou geen slecht idee zijn. Gelukkig was er op het terras nog plek, dus geen probleem. En met een mooie tripel van de tap even de lunchkaart bekijken. Duo-lunch was het concept. Twee gerechtjes voor één prijs. Lekker wat variatie, daar ben ik voor. En leuke gerechtjes ook. Goeie, eerlijke ingediënten. Afgesloten met een ontzettend lekkere Sauvignon Blanc. Dik tevreden!

Wat een heerlijke zaak. De Thaise soep is mijn favoriet. Het concept van hele en halve gerechten is ideaal. Lekker veel proeven dus geen keuzestress. Medewerkers attent en gastvrij. Ik zou er bijna voor naar Culemborg verhuizen 😉

Leuk concept je kunt voor €36.50 p.p 2 voor, 2 hoofd en 2 nagerechten bestellen en dat is dan samen 1 gerecht. Zo kun je dus lekker proeven van de kaart. Jammie

Geweldig lekker gegeten, aantrekkelijke opmaak van de gerechten en een goed concept die halve porties ( veel keus).Ook de service was klasse en de ambiance ook. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Keuze uit 2 kleine verschillende gerechten die samen 1 lunch zijn. Zeer correcte en vriendelijke bediening! Bij mooi weer zit je héérlijk op het ruime terras.

Uniek. De vriendelijke eigenaar serveert Duo Lunches. Voor € 11,75 kun je 2 gerechten kiezen. Wij namen beide een soep. De een met wrap hete kip, de ander met ceasarsalade. We konden niet alles op!

Zoals altijd: heerlijk eten/drinken, gezellige sfeer. Vriendelijk personeel, snel met de bediening. Aanrader!

Leuke eetgelegenheid. Niet voor grote gezelschappen. Stoelen zitten een beetje hard.

Tweede jaar op rij dat we het 4 gangen kerstmenu hebben besteld. De eigenaren zijn echt heel hulpvaardig met het zoeken naar alternatieven voor in het menu ivm een histamine intollerantie. Wederom heerlijk gegeten, goede smaken, mooie porties, aanrader!.

Een eerste ervaring in restaurant 'Het Kasteeltje' . Een heerlijke belevenis. Er is een kleine kaart met voldoende keus. De kok is flexibel en kan afwijken van het menu. We komen er nog een keer terug.
