The Greanery in Spaarndammer- en Zeeheldenbuurt

Oh oh oh how disappointing this was. We were here with more than 50 people. Almost everyone went home hungry! The fact that people were constantly asking for bread with herb butter should have been a clear hint. Drinking was not provided proactively. You could order something with a lot of effort (and there wasn't even ice tea, never experienced that before) The food was OK but really not enough. The concept is excellent: no meat, no waist and as energy neutral as possible. Every now and then the music was so loud that it hurt your ears. Entertainment is zero. There are no screens in front of it, do something more fun with it than just some images of ingredients.... The interior resembles a large canteen, not cozy and very crowded. It could have been so beautiful...

I missed it last time they were here, so glad I could be here this year! I really enjoyed my time and the food. The walls were a really nice extra effect and an experience by its self!

What should be a super fun and beautiful concept turns out to be very disappointing in reality. Pay a lot of money and still go home hungry. It's downright scandalous. We were there with about 35 people and paid EUR 200 per person (including drinks). It all looks nicer in the photos than it actually is. Folding tables and canteen chairs do not help the atmosphere. It's like you're sitting in a huge canteen with a lot of people. The staff didn't seem to be able to cope and while one had already finished eating, the other still had to get his plate. If you ordered a drink you sometimes had to ask for it 3 times and then it was forgotten again. Homemade is mentioned on the menu, but the cheese sticks, for example, really came from a package, there was nothing homemade about it. The portions were extremely small. And small things like clearing the plates also took forever. Unfortunately, a huge disappointment for me and my colleagues.
