Above all, the quality of the dishes is exceptional, but the ambiance of the restaurant, for example, the fact that the meals are served on beautiful china, is truly unique. The waiter/owner is super polite and personable, and the prices are more than reasonable for this level of service. It was the best restaurant we've visited in a long time.

Even though the taste and quality of the food was excellent, there was a human hair in our dish. When we complained, we didn’t even get a small refund or “drink on the house” etc. Instead we even heard the waiter laughingly telling the cook about the hair. For a high class restaurant like this, we would have expected e different behavior. Nevertheless the atmosphere was great and the taste of the food outstanding.

Had dinner at this restaurant tonight. We arrived a bit late but were kindly shown to a table. The food was fantastic and refined, the service excellent and the atmosphere welcoming and homely. Definitely recommended for a good quality dinner.

I came to this restaurant for the second time with my family, I was disappointed and I will never go back. I ordered llama bones, which were like rubber, when I told the waiter that they were like rubber, he smiled and left, as if to let you know your problems, and the most shocking thing was that they charged me for what I didn't eat. Also, the chicken liver with glazed apples was something terrible, it was half green, it made me sick. I will not recommend it! Shame.Good luck to you!

Very good French restaurant which offers excellent typical dishes with lots of choice in terms of fish and meat. The staff was very pleasant and the decor was sublime! The desserts and bottled water were a little expensive for our tastes but we still enjoyed ourselves I recommend this restaurant 🫶🏻

Had a delicious meal at The Local Bistro in Zandvoort. The food was fantastic and the hospitality was excellent. The time was really taken for you, which made the experience extra special. The most wonderful meal out in a long time :) The service throughout the evening was excellent. For starters we had the escargots, the steak tartare and bread with herb butter, for the main course we had rack of lamb and “Tornados” and for dessert we had Crêpe Suzette. Everything was excellent! The meat was cooked to perfection, the red wine sauce was perfect and every other component was sophisticated and delicious, and the bottle of wine was also perfectly tempered and delicious. An experience that is recommended to everyone!

First-class cuisine with a chef and very attentive service. The classic tournedos with vegetables and bearnaise sauce was a poem, right to the point. The Tarte Tatin, a delicacy, rounded off the culinary experience.

Tolles Ambiente, wunderbarer Service, leckere Weine und super gutes Essen. Rundherum alles perfekt! Wir waren mit Baby und Hund da, das war kein Problem. Aber unbedingt reservieren!

We Visited the local Bistro once on our holiday and came back for the Formula 1 weekend. Both times the food ( menu) was very Good. Overall a very nice place To dine if you Like Good Food and drinks. We will visit this Place everytime when we are near the area from now on.

Eten en bediening was prima. Voor een restaurant met franse Keuken van deze prijsklasse ontbreekt helaas een amuse en brood bij het hoofdgerecht. Tip: echte servetten geven een restaurant meer klasse. Jammer dat de servetten van papier waren.

Tijdens ons F1 bezoek aan Zandvoort bezoeken we traditioneel deze bistro gelegen nabij station en strand. Afgelopen vrijdag eindelijk een tafeltje kunnen reserveren want logischerwijs is het dan altijd extra druk EN de bistro is best wel klein. Maar daar zit juist de kracht, herkenning van de eigenaar, perfecte service en een heerlijke ambiance. Met het F1 weekend is een vast menu samengesteld wat gezien de drukte logisch is. De samenstelling was perfect voor ons en we komen zeker een keer buiten een event-weekend langs om de volledige kaart te proberen. Met de wijnkeuze het juiste advies gekregen van Thierry, kan niet wachten tot een volgende keer!

Always good food and good service. Thierry is a consummate host who ensures that you will not lack anything. Barbara is a very good chef who makes delicious classic dishes. Take your time if you eat here, then the experience will be the best. A quick bite is also possible, but personally I think that's a shame. Be surprised and take a seat in this nicely decorated restaurant or on the cozy terrace. You won't be disappointed! Good luck choosing between all the tasty dishes ;).

A true gem, fabulous food, great service, lovely staff. When in Zandvoort, this is a place you should visit, you will not be dissapointed.

An excellent French-themed bistro! Not so expensive compared with a Michelin-starred restaurant in the area. Do book ahead as it gets busy - always a good indicator. You never know whom you may meet there: a local famous Le Mans winning racing driver perhaps! We shall be back.

Reception was good, we had a table in the conservatory where the heating was much too high. The food was very mediocre, the Cocofin was 1 chicken leg with way too many green beans in it and rice not at all like a real chef should be able to make. We've always wanted to go here. In summer it is usually fully booked, so you will only get a place by chance without a reservation. Now in winter you can also ask spontaneously. We were served very politely and courteously by a young waiter. The food was very tasteful. It was just really tasty, especially since there are things that aren't usually available in Zandvoort. The cuisine is very selected. We really enjoy coming back and can recommend the restaurant. It's one of the TOP locations in the village!

Had a 3 course menu for the first time in years. The portions were just right, beautifully served, delicious in taste, perfectly cooked as desired. Professional good service. Nice atmosphere, cozy size guaranteed for a good experience. Recommended! The toilet area is in need of renovation.

We came here with 4 people. Let's see if there was a spot available for us, it looked nice and full. The man who helped us enter made a seat available for us (thanks to the guests who wanted to sit at another table). Food good, price quality perfect. Service and handling excellent. Nice people and an attractively decorated restaurant. Good wine. We would recommend this to everyone, keep it up!

The restaurant is small but nice. The tables are beautifully set and the food is really excellent. The small menu has a good dish for every taste. The wines were also very tasty. The young waiter was very accommodating and extremely friendly. And best of all: price-performance is very good. Absolute recommendation!

Top experience from reservation to dessert!

At the rainy end of the day we were able to enjoy a meal here in complete peace and a wonderful bottle of wine - without a reservation. Since we shared a starter, they divided it between two plates, nothing special in itself, but not every restaurant does that. We thought it was great. Our little dog was warmly welcomed, which was a real blessing compared to other places in Holland. The pepper steak and sea bream were each served with fresh vegetables and tasted wonderful. Great service, who also gave wonderful advice and went out of their way to look after us. It wasn't fully booked, which made it even more comfortable. Personally, I found it authentic that the menu was only in Dutch and not in several other languages. We had a lovely evening and were completely thrilled.

Very nice little restaurant with strong French influences in the cuisine. Unfortunately, it's on a pretty busy street, which means the outdoor seating isn't really perfect. Therefore only 4/5 stars, realistically we would give it 4.6/5.

If you like French classics, you'll get your money's worth here. Small bistro, very cozy, very nice service. Be sure to reserve. I can recommend the Escargot. Rarely eaten so deliciously. The bread is a poem by Dutch standards. The tarte tatin was also very tasty and fresh from the oven. I saw other guests having the steaks and the rack of lamb. Everything looked delicious and was completely eaten. Unfortunately, I was already too full to try it myself. The price is fully within the framework for this quality.

Really nice French bistro style food, a slightly high price tag, but as an experience as a whole more than worth it. Especially compared to the rest of the options in the area.

In my opinion, less is more. A 2 man / woman show who really work together. The open kitchen allows the guest to observe how much fun the chef has cooking for her guests. The menu is clear, but contains everything you would expect in fine dining. Price - performance are really in harmony here, which is particularly evident in connection with the wine list. The evening was rounded off by the extremely friendly and honest service. We really felt like guests and will definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

A small restaurant on a side street. Very friendly service, pleasant atmosphere and very good food!

The food was very tasty, it was just missing a little salt but you could add more salt at the table👍 We were there with a child and a dog, which wasn't a problem. The service was nice. The ambience was very nice. Unfortunately, our daughter was tired and a little unrelaxed, but we were able to take the dessert home and eat it there in a relaxed manner. We can recommend the restaurant.

If you're looking for some peace and quiet, this is the place to eat! Very inviting, it looked a little more comfortable inside than outside - but it was too hot for me. Service very friendly, pleasantly reserved! Not a tourist shop with a lot of hustle and bustle. The food was very good, the meat was good quality, the dish was very well balanced and prepared. Dessert is also a highlight. Thank you for the relaxing evening. (Price was reasonable, not overpriced)

The atmosphere is very cozy - everything is harmonious - you feel comfortable. Unfortunately the menu is only available in Dutch, but the condition helps. The food was very tasty. The wine selection is excellent.

Highly recommended if you want a relaxed meal. 1 person in service 1 person in the kitchen In other words, take your time.... To be repeated.

The food was tasty. Selection was ok. Seats were ok. The place was a bit cold. Not crowded. Lication is practical. There is parking in the surrounding side streets. Now, why only 3 stars ...? Because we were in there for +3 hours. We had starters and a main. 90 minutes would have been a stretch. Service was s.l.o.w. Sometimes a slow meal is ok, but I would like to decide for myself when.

Great cuisine and super friendly service, excellent wine. Meat dishes on point, beef tartare so fresh, the beef could have been revived! Vegetarian ravioli and onion soup homemade flavor explosions! We recommend!

What a great restaurant lies behind this facade in Zandvoort. We had the Christmas menu here on Boxing Day. The welcome was extremely friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in the shop was fine. The food and matching wines are great. Cheers!! We will definitely come back here again...

I was actually expecting bistro-like gastronomy and was absolutely positively surprised by this small, pleasant restaurant. The ambience was good, as was the service. Very nice and accommodating. For me personally, the food was top. There is a cook at the stove who is fantastic at her craft. The pepper steak and sea bream were delicious. The map, small but nice. Even the crep for dessert left nothing to be desired. The prices are okay, because there was nothing to complain about in terms of quality or taste. Highly Recommended!!
