The Rainbow in Wijk 00 Meerssen

The chicken satay was made with very tough chicken. It wasn't tasty.

I was here for the first time recently and I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the house specialty, "The Rainbow Kiss." Delicious! Just like being at home. The chicken satay with fries and salad was also delicious. Definitely recommended!

Got takeaway. There were service shards in my food. First reaction: “can’t be, weird…isn’t it an eggshell?” NO, it’s rock hard and cuts like glass. I’m offered a packet of prawn crackers. No apologies or being taken seriously. Been coming here for years…now it’s ready right away. I don’t know if I’ve ingested anything; it’s something to get intestinal perforation from!

Time has literally stood still here. Not to say that that is necessarily negative, but the early 90s have never left this restaurant. What makes eating here a whole experience, also in a positive sense. Furthermore, eating here is not a high flyer. There are better Chinese, but certainly also bad businesses. Prices are very friendly :) If I am in the area and hungry, I will definitely walk in here again. But I would not drive out of my way for it.

We usually go to the Chinese restaurant in Scharn, but this one was the worst! The food was lukewarm, the satay tasteless, the spring roll greasy, and the side dish was unidentifiable meat mixed with leftover dark meat from the previous service. I'm not one for tearing things down, but it was just really bad and not tasty.

Always been good but picked it up today. Order was not complete! After contacting us by telephone, we were able to pick this up, but with a travel time of 15 minutes there and 15 minutes back, your food is cold. There was no way anyone delivered it. Then we go to eat and it is tasteless and the pangsit goreng is so hard that you bite your teeth through it. Never again to this Chinese!

It wasn't tasty. I wanted to try it, but the flavors weren't even close to babi pangang or fujonghai, and the satay was very salty. We didn't eat it! It's a shame, but they won't be seeing us again.

First time, last time. Sate was dried out, tjap Tjoy: 90% bean sprouts, 5 cubes of chicken, 1 piece of beef in between. Nasi reasonable, babi p. Meh. We are not overly critical, but this Chinese takeaway is not tasty.

Wanneer je de locatie binnenstapt, voel je je weer terug in de jaren 90. Het kan allemaal wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken, maar goed daarvoor ga je niet naar hen toe. Het eten was werkelijk waar formidabel. Babi Pangang met pit, nasi en bami met smaak, verse groentes, malse kip saté. En dan dat alles voor een eerlijke prijs! Top tent als je goed eten wilt!
