The Swan in Wijk 00 Hengelo

Ate there once. The food tasted awful. The babi bangang was too soft and very greasy. The fou young hay tasted like it came from a ready-made package. All the food felt like it had been microwaved. I definitely don't recommend this restaurant. I won't be going back. The coffee afterward tasted like strong tea.

Wonderful, I went there this afternoon with the kids. They loved it 🤩. The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was beautifully pink. My daughter Anne really enjoyed it because she loves pink. My son Alex normally doesn't eat much, but here he thought the fries were so good. Fantastic 💜

We stayed there for three nights. The website advertised a restaurant, but that turned out to be the case. Our room was large, but that's about it. It was lacking in ambiance. The room had a balcony, but there was no furniture on it. The bathroom had a shower, but no shower mat, no hairdryer, or makeup mirror. The hallway smelled musty because of the carpets, and the stairwell was very dusty. The breakfast was very meager. A fried egg with a dried yolk, four portions of jam, a few slices of cheese and ham. Two sandwiches from the supermarket and four slices of dark bread from the same supermarket. One day we got a currant bun instead of a sandwich. No yogurt. Fruit and chocolate spread... However, there were also positives: the only staff we saw was a friendly man, we could safely store our bikes inside, and we paid only 90 euros per night for two people.

We cycled past here and stopped for lunch. The pancakes were delicious. The service was friendly and we were helped quickly. Therefore, we decided to return later for dinner. See the next review.

Friendly staff behind the bar, and—unique for a sports bar—they serve bean coffee with homemade frothed milk. It might seem like a small thing, but if you visit these kinds of bars weekly, it's a godsend!
