Theater Café in Wijk 00 Centrum

Our order was not elaborated as the other tables ... After complaining the manager of the cafe was very impolite wich confirnes the racist behavior... Very disappointing.

We weren't welcome today. In the past, we'd enjoyed a nice cup of coffee and a treat here. But today...: not welcome. Two tables were reserved for lunch (at 3:00 PM...), and the table that became available was suddenly reserved for lunch guests only... even though it wasn't reserved and no lunch guests showed up. So much for Maastricht hospitality...!!? Fortunately, I've had better experiences elsewhere in Maastricht.

Service was late, probably because of the crowd. Perhaps it would be a good idea to employ more than one person. Around closing time we were chased out of the tent by the attitude of the staff. The lighting on the wall flickers constantly. Moreover, it was very cold inside. The interior is beautiful, especially because of the high ceiling. Due to the large selection of better cafés nearby, I would unfortunately recommend skipping this one.

Unfriendly staff. They claimed we'd damaged furniture. We'll never go to Theater Cafe again.
