What a fantastic restaurant♡ We had made a reservation, we were allowed to choose a spot ourselves. We chose a table in a corner. The friendly service is very hospitable, spontaneous and accurate. We had a nice conversation about the restaurant, the cocktails and the food. The food is really delicious! We were able to share the dishes, what a nice concept. We were able to experience many special flavors. Grandiose! There is a separate book with the cocktails on the table, a beautifully designed book with a nice text about the cocktails that makes you curious. We recommend this restaurant 100%! If we could give 10 stars we would. Thank you very much again! We enjoyed it.

Had a great meal and a great evening

We went to eat with a large group at Thijs en Co in Emmen. What was difficult was that the whole table had to go for the menu or the whole table didn't. Since we all had different opinions with 11 people, that was a bit of a problem. Eventually it was solved by giving people the opportunity to have a drink instead of a course. If you go for the menu, you choose 1 starter, 2 main courses, 1 side dish (smaller portions than a normal main course) and 1 dessert. They didn't make a fuss about special requests such as no sauce on something or an extra starter instead of a main course. The portions are fine and the dishes taste good. The restaurant also looks cozy and atmospheric. They have very nice chairs. We don't live nearby, but otherwise I would come back. Legend: 1) Terrible! I advise against it, I will never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I will not come again. 3) Ok, nothing wrong with it, but not special, nice for once. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! I recommend, I will definitely come back!

What a wonderfully good and delicious restaurant this is. The service is super nice and the food is "by far" the tastiest from Emmen and the surrounding area and the portions are far too large. Sometimes it's the little things that matter, such as putting a glass of water next to your glass of wine. This is a small effort but a great gesture. And the atmosphere is fantastic. Last night we had dinner with colleagues at Thijs&Co. It was delicious and there was more than enough choice. Highly recommended!

Really delicious food, shared dinner. Staff also very friendly and good service.

The food was really tip top, deliciously diverse dishes, with a unique system for sharing everything comfortably between the two of you. However, our dining experience was greatly disrupted by our waiter. After politely asking how the system works, we were told to read it again, then we explained that we did not fully understand it yet, but our waiter did not appreciate this and received a short snarky response. Later that evening we subtly beckoned him several times to come over, but received either no response or an arrogant response. Too bad his waiter works in his beautiful and tasty restaurant. Come by to discover the culinary delights of the kitchen and avoid the bald brat with glasses at all costs!!

Valentine's Day February 14, 2025 ate here. Cozy and attractively decorated. Friendly service. The food was delicious. We had the culinary crossroads. Small dishes to share. But more than enough for 2 people. And the chocolate fondue was just enough. We will definitely come again...

Had a delicious meal tonight with the four of us (friends). Unfortunately, time was a bit tight to eat everything because we went to see ABBA in the Atlas theater. That was a shame. Agreed to come back after the performance to pay and to discuss everything. Solved with a lot of love and professionalism from the owner. We are happy and they are happy. We will definitely come back! The tagliatelle with shrimp is delicious!!

Arrived at 6 o'clock. Quite a large group (13 people). The hostess suggested that, instead of having everyone order separately, we would serve some of everything. This so that we could try a little bit of everything and everyone got their food at the same time. We thought this was a nice idea so we followed this advice. Big mistake. We waited almost 2 hours for our food. Then we were served four small snacks. Within 10 minutes it was gone and half of us were still hungry. After waiting another half hour we were finally allowed to order dessert. All in all, at 9:00 PM we finally had dessert, which wasn't anything special either. Price was also quite high. Shame about this experience. Not recommended.

Delicious food yesterday, highly recommended!

We had a wonderful evening. The concept suits us perfectly, sharing dinner. All dishes on the menu are for two people and you can choose what you want and when. The food was really great! We highly recommended the Spanish Gambas and the Tournedos. We thought the cocktails were a bit less, but that didn't spoil the fun this evening. We will definitely come back here again.

Were there on King's Day, 9.50 for a strawberry daiquiri is very excessive. Waited for an hour until we had something and then another almost hour until we could pay, and no it wasn't overly crowded. Won't be my first choice...

The service is very bad. We wanted to eat here, but almost an hour passed before someone came to take our order. When it was finally time for us to order, we could only name a dish and the waitress disappeared again. When we didn't feel like going to the restaurant anymore, we wanted to go and pay for the drinks, which were the only thing we really got. She said that we had ordered something else and then brought us the dish, which was the only one that we could order. In addition, the live music was way too loud. All in all just bad, especially for the reviews you can read here.

It was great, another word for super, super good food, you have to take your time. We did this for the performance of the Atlas Theater and we were there at 5:00 PM. We had to do the last course quickly. It was a bit of a shame, time flies by

Great, exceptional food with really nice staff and service. We had the experimental menu and it was really tasty. Freshly tapped Birra Moretti and also good cocktails. Price for the food was absolutely good, a bit expensive for the drinks, but apparently that's how it is in the Netherlands. But since it also has a great atmosphere and our 10-year-old daughter was served just as friendly, it was a successful evening.

Simply fantastic, we stopped here after visiting the zoo to celebrate our daughter's 17th birthday. We were very surprised, very friendly people and fantastic food. Nu voor de 2e keer gegeten. Gezellig sfeervol restaurant, met echt heerlijke gerechten. Bediening is echt fantastisch.

Zeer fijne avond gehad met super personeel En heerlijk eten gaan we vaker naar toe.

Wij wilden wat drinken. Aan de buitenkant zag het er al gezellig en uitnodigend uit. Bij binnenkomst werden we vriendelijk aangesproken met de vraag of wij wat wilden eten of drinken. Wij kregen een leuk hoekje aangewezen wat er gezellig uitzag, kaarjes op tafel enz. De cocktail en de Irish Coffee waren heerlijk. Het eten kan ik niet beoordelen maar wij komen zeker terug om dat ook uit te proberen.

Shared dining gedaan, was echt super lekker! Ruimschoots genoeg voor 2 personen en in lange tijd niet zo lekker gegeten in een restaurant. Gezellige sfeer en super vriendelijke bediening. Aanrader!

Hier heerlijk gegeten is shared diner concept waardoor je uit kan proberen wat er allemaal is. Het eten is echt van uitstekende kwaliteit

Echt fantastische ervaring! Onwijs goed gegeten, echt een diepe buiging voor de koks fantastisch werk! Bediening is geweldig, heel gezellig en snel. En dan de koffie! Eindelijk een tent waar ze begrijpen wat koffie is in plaats van een melkbak. Tot snel!

Köstliches Essen aus Kubanischer Küche. Wer es etwas schärfer mag ist hier Gold richtig. Auch die Präsentation war sehr einladend wo man sich nochmehr auf den Geschmack freut. Die Cocktails sind auch ein Gaumenschmaus und sind perfekt um den Abend zu genießen. Der Service ist absolut tadellos und sollte ein Vorbild sein. Kein Wunsch blieb unerfüllt und auf Allergien oder Unverträglichkeit wurde Rücksicht genommen. Das Ambiente ist modern dazu passende Musik die im Hintergrund gespielt wird. Alles in allem ein Perfektes Lokal welches ich nur empfehlen kann. Egal ob mit dem Date oder mit der Familie oder Freunden in diesem Restaurant wir man einen stilvollen Abend genießen.

Supergezellig restaurant, waar we heerlijk gegeten hebben na een bezoek aan de dierentuin. Een echte aanrader. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar èn personeel. Eten echt overheerlijk (vooral de taco's en gamba's). Erg leuk concept om je eten te delen. Het eten werd ook nog snel geserveerd. Perfecte afsluiting van een gezellige dag.

Ontvangst was super. Gastvrij en hartelijk. Door omstandigheden konden we niet op de plek op het terras zitten en eigenlijk was binnen geen plek ivm te weinig personeel. Toch wist Tico een en ander te regelen waardoor de avond een geweldige start had. Smaak was uitstekend en het shared dining concept maakt het direct gezellig. Tico, nogmaals dank voor het reorganiseren!

Meerdere hier gegeten en vertoeft. Bijzonder gezellig plekje met uitkijk op speeltuintje en water. Vriendelijke bediening, ruim assortiment hapjes en cocktails.

Heerlijk eten! Het is een shared dining concept en dat maakt het extra gezellig. De sfeer is heel mooi, gezellige lampjes en kaarsjes. De bediening is vlot en het personeel is heel aardig. Wij waren er op valantijnsdag en kregen van de eigenaar Tico een lekker doosje mercie als extraatje voor valentijnsdag. Tico is een vrolijke vriendelijke man en hij laat je erg welkom voelen. Wij komen hier zeker weer terug. Update: op het terras zitten is ook erg gezellig. Er hang een fijne sfeer en het terras is leuk aangekleed. De Sangria is erg lekker.

We kwamen binnen bij het restaurant en er kwam een meneer naar ons toe en we werden hartelijk welkom geheten hij gaf iedereen persoonlijk een hand en gaf ook complimenten aan ons.Dus dat was een leuke binnenkomer. En wat hebben wij voortreffelijk, heerlijk gegeten met een goed sharing dining concept en een heerlijk toetje met een fontein vuurwerk vanwege ons 41 jaar getrouwd zijn en als toetje van de zaak nog een fontein met vuurwerk met twee glazen bubbels, wat een verrassing. Superbedankt voor alles THIJS&CO

Duur, weinig waar voor je geld, eten was wel ok maar voor 6 gehaktballetjes ruim 8 euro is echt belachelijk duur! Oogt ook sjiek met een knoert van een bar met dure cocktails en voor een gewoon biertje ruim 4 euro....is meer een zaak voor mensen met geldbomen in de achtertuin!!!
