Best place to buy Surinamese vegetables, cheaper or just as expensive as the markets, and most importantly it doesn't come from the cupboards

Besides the very unfriendly service I received... my debit card wasn't working. The woman was complaining about home delivery orders. I ended up leaving with my food. Unfortunately, I spent more time in the toilet that night than in bed... absolutely no go!!!

Disappointed. The food tastes good (even though it could be better). But I'm disappointed regarding the price and the quantities: I ordered a butter chicken with 1 garlic naan. I paid 22€, and I had not more than 5 pieces of chicken. That's expensive for what it is...

Long delivery times, extremely little chicken (5 pieces) in the butter chicken for 18.50!! I even went back to the restaurant after delivery, and the lady simply refused to be lenient and keep the customer satisfied. 5 pieces is the standard. Disgraceful!

Lamb roti wasn't available, so I had chicken instead. Dry, bland, and almost no sauce. Very few vegetables either. I paid €2 extra for two eggs, but didn't receive them. Egg wasn't included as standard. Sambal was €1 per person. Quite pricey too. Maybe Indian food is better, but the roti is simply not good.

The whole place is a mess after the lady with the crooked teeth gets there. 4 pieces of chicken in a fake Indian dish. It's all junk. Good luck!

Nasty food, ordered rogan josh lamb. All liquid brown sauce with 5 pieces of lamb meat tasted like it was frozen and defrosted. Nothing to do with fresh ingredients as mentioned in website. Its all defrosted foods with expired smelling. Tastes and flavours are far away. And definitely recommend a hygiene inspection by government in this location. The food smells like its expired. I ate the food couple of spoons and now i am scared to get sick tomorrow. Bad experience. STAY AWAY, DO NOT ORDER.

Every time there's a hassle with delivery to Weesp. Just put it on the website or something that you don't deliver here. Waiting for hours for what?! Nothing at all! Called the restaurant, we only just got our order (after an hour!! Oh yeah, and we don't deliver to you anymore, have a nice evening!) Also nice, so what now? Dekamarkt is also closed now. P.S. We're getting our order anyway. 2.5 hours later. Great for our young children who normally go to bed around 7:30 PM.

Amazing. This restaurant is truly amazing. The food is filling, reasonably priced, and delicious. It's almost addictive! Ordering here is highly recommended.

The weather was really bad then. And with my aching back and legs, I quickly took a taxi to the hairdresser and then immediately back again. I was afraid of falling.

1 star, because I cannot rate this review with half a star, which Toko Gein actually deserves. This half star is for the food, which is quite OK, but good food alone does not get you 5 stars. The service is very bad. If you want to order multiple meals you will have to wait. For example, if you order a chicken curry noodle, but want 3 other meals, she just makes you wait until she has put the 1st meal in the container. This is just super clumsy and I just get irritated by idiocy very quickly. The people behind me weren't too happy about this either. The last time I picked up food from here, the lady also forgot my daughter's satay. I called hoping she would have the decency to drop it off, but I was asked when I would pick it up and was told I hadn't paid for it either. I had to let my food get cold and pick up the satay myself, because she made a mistake? We will never eat here again, and I strongly advise against it.

They have some tasty sandwiches

diarrhoea for a day assured. Poor unhygienic measures. Customer ill-treatment. Using cheap plastic box in microwave.

We have regularly gotten Surinamese sandwiches there for years and have always enjoyed the quality and the friendly employees. Now twice in a few weeks. Another employee, not so friendly and especially the pom had deteriorated. First time the rolls were old, second time better, but the pom was so sticky and hardly any chicken to be found. My wife really wanted cash and it was only when we really didn't have that and were not prepared to walk to a cash buddy that we could pay by card. Probably different owners. Very sorry about this case.

In the Reigersbos / Gein region this is the best place for Indian food. The biryani is especially of high quality. Chicken korma is also recommended. Well seasoned and large portions that you can eat for several days. Update: The pizza is also affordable and very good. For 30 cm you get a well-filled pizza. Heerlijke broodjes en pizza's hier! Er werken aardige medewerkers die echt liefde in het eten steken, en dat proef je. De Tandoori Paneer Tikka pizza is mijn favoriet, vooral met die heerlijke yoghurt dressing, echt perfect! Ook altijd snel en heet bezorgd! Ga zo door! Het zou alleen handig zijn als je die heerlijke sausjes ook los kan bestellen want aan 1 bakje heb ik nooit genoeg haha

Lekker groot fruit sinaasappelen aardbeien en kip en goede kwaliteit een aanwinst ze zitten er al lang maar zeer uitgebreid ga zo door mensen. En ook altijd vriendelijk.

Ik woont bijna 3 jaar in Gein, ben nog nooit geweest, wat een heerlijke relaxte restaurant. Als je ooit een verjaardag wil vieren moet je Daar gaan.

Lekker eten. Alleen de hoeveelheid vlees in de porties Indiaas zijn wat klein.

You get fruits like Guava, mangos, watermelon, raw mangos etc. This shop also sells indian groceries such as Basmati rice, raw rice, masalas, chilly power, garlic etc. You also get vegetables such as ladies finger, tomato, onions, green chillies, raw banana etc

Hier vind je vrijwel alles wat je nodig hebt voor een werelds gerecht! Lieve mensen werken hier ook en prijs kwalititeit verhouding is prima.

Gezellige winkel er werken mensen met kennis

Leuke winkel waar je tropische lekkernijen kan kopen. De eigenares is altijd heel vriendelijk en de overige personeel is ook vaak behulpzaam. Ik kom hier graag winkelen.
