Not the best food, wasn’t all that fresh and had to wait a while. But it had a nice Atmosphere. Edit: To be fair we were there later on the day.

The boy who was in the shop took over half an hour to help two customers and send away a bag for a home delivery order. Several customers walked away - really absurd.

I had to wait a bit because it was busy, but the service was excellent. Luckily, once I got home, it tasted great. Highly recommended, despite the crowds. Thank you!

The employee uses his bare hands to make the sandwiches. No gloves. He grabs all the ingredients with his bare fingers: lettuce, tomato, etc. Then he uses the same hands to pay and take the money. When I saw that, I walked away. Why doesn't he just use a grabber?

I picked up a small container of dinner last night. When I got home, I saw that the container was literally half full. Very disappointing! I also got a pie that was ice cold inside.

Delicious sandwiches and reasonably priced

That was disappointing…. The flavors are quite flat (which meat was the rendang) except for the meatballs. These were quite salty. We also missed the egg and sateh. In any case, there was no meat on skewers and it was not detectable from a taste point of view. Enough food for 2, but for me taste is more important. So no risk of recurrence. We had the luxurious rice table last night, but from now on I will just get it from Gembira in Amstelveen. By the way, calculating transaction costs is a bad joke, see my previous review at Koh. By the way, no response from the owner other than checking my LinkedIn profile.

I used to work here, great work environment and especially good food and great service, very nice and helpful people. Although they tend to go a little crazy with the sauces, the food is still great. (i recommend the spicy chicken meatballs).

I've had a tempeh and risoles sandwich here a number of times. Always good. Food fresh and staff friendly. A little tip: cut the tempeh a little thinner. It is more pleasant to eat on a sandwich, but of course that is personal 😉

There is a sign on the outside that says they serve smoothies but I was told that they don't have anything for smoothies at all. I didnt get any explanation, just told they don't have it.

Customer service hard to find. Girl at the cash register doesn't understand how the cash register works and makes people wait 10 minutes before saying they are closed!?!

Was generally a satisfied customer, but now completely turned off. Apart from the fact that the employee made me wait a long time the last time because he was busy with something else, the large bowl I bought suddenly only included one meat dish, while in the past there were always 2. Customer after me had a smaller bowl and was allowed to point to 2 meat dishes. Just shoot me. I don't think I can answer the owner's question directly, but it was on Thursday evening, April 11.

Ordered food. They first act as if I already have my order Have had while it is not the case. When I call they say the driver is on his way. Once here he has 1 dish from my order. I'll call again. My 2nd shipment arrives where I ordered a satay ajam sandwich, I get 3 small pieces of meat on too hard bread, no satay, more cucumber than meat and a strange white sauce on it. I didn't feel like calling anymore. In short, don't order because you don't get what you ordered plus they make you pay and there was no apology. April 12

Last time I was given a snack that had mold on it. Apparently, shelf life and freshness are not properly taken into account. Unfortunately, I received no response to my email with this complaint.

It was great for years. We regularly catered for 20 people here and often picked up and delivered food here. There has been drama since the manager left. There are very young teenagers there, hygiene is hard to find. They work with gloves, but then they touch cash, they clean and they are on their phones. The food has gotten a lot worse, which is a shame, but I won't be coming back here again.

Very tasty Indonesian meatball sandwich. The staff was also nice and provided good service (even though it was already a little after 4 p.m. I was still able to order a sandwich from the lunch menu). Prices also reasonable; €4.75 for a large, well-filled sandwich.

Food is ok and value for money. Service is slow, absolutely no empathy, just some untrained kids trying to get by.

It's so sad to see this restaurant becoming mediocre because of the untrained staff. I came twice this week and both time the waitress was extremely slow, took our order wrong and took 40 minutes to provide 4 sandwiches. I always take the same sandwich and had to correct her because she was doing it wrong, in the end my sandwich was still not what I ordered. Instead of doing the 4 sandwich all together she takes 10 minutes to do one and then proceed to the next one while watching the line of client gets bigger and doesn't speed up. It's really upsetting, why is she alone in the restaurant if she's untrained? Management should do something to help their waiters. Safe to say I won't be coming anytime soon. Response to tokoh: I came on Friday after lunch time for 4 sandwiches and on Sunday again for sandwiches but no bread were left (which happens too often) so we could only take bowls.

I’d give lower than the 1 star but sadly I can’t. Got served a loempia which was harder than the ice that sank titanic. It was hot on the outside and frozen on the inside. Secondly they promote their “broodjes” but never ever have any. Prices went up for mediocre food, they need to stop hiring Dutch kids that aren’t ready for the kitchen because the staff just looks confused behind the kitchen and it takes them 30 minutes to have one meal ready. But yeah “Welkom in Ijburg”.

Great takeaway place with great price to quality. Had satay chicken sandwich, lumpia and gado gado, and all were tasty and fairly priced. Staff was nice and helpful, but could have been a little quicker.

There was a hair in my sandwich. Long-time customer of KOH. But this is really disappointing how backwards the “tokoh” branch has gone. Advice: use a hairnet if necessary. The whole lunch was immediately ruined.

Ordered the rice table yesterday. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. The Rendang does not taste like coconut but like sugar, the vegetables have a stale aftertaste, the satay was dry and overcooked and there was no satay sauce! Given some good reviews, there is apparently little consistency in Tokoh's Indonesian dishes. This really needs to be improved! Delivery was great and everything was neatly packaged.

Unfortunately, another bad experience. The vegetables are always good in the rames bowls, but the rest... the noodles have burnt pieces in them, making them rock hard. The egg, which you paid extra for, was half-boiled and, judging by the color, no longer good, was a kind of bouncy ball. The meat is not of quality. Beef products contain more pieces of fat than meat. Shame. Not to mention the staff. No greetings upon arrival and just talking to each other. The lady in question was even licking her fingers from a bowl she had prepared. I don't recommend coming here again.

Blonde boy really helped me put together my delicious tokoh rames, everything super fresh and delicious. I will return!

Hadden de soep en saté besteld. Super lekker en erg veel. Groentes in de soep nog lekker knapperig en de saté mega mals. Aanrader!

Good food, but arrived 45 mins late and stone cold. Needed to be sent back for heating because we don’t have a microwave.

Erg blij met de bowls van Fay. Lang geduurd voor iemand die kan portioneren. Ook qua smaak!👍

Voor het eerst even snel een maaltijd gehaald, vaak teleurgesteld maar dit viel me echt mee. Heerlijk!

While ago I bought a takeaway pokebowl which was very nice, but only thing that really made me worried is that staffs prepared this without wearing a mask, even chatting over my bowl...it was not very pleasant to see. I am aware that this period is difficult for food chains but would be nice if we all care a little more to each other.

Beste pokebowls van Amsterdam. Woonde eerst om de hoek en haalde veel af, maar rijd er nu speciaal voor om 👌🏼

Heel lekker Indonesisch afhaal restaurantje. Het rundvlees is geweldig, heel mals. Vriendelijke service en faire prijzen.

Trek in lekkere Indonesische snack. Gezellig buiten opgegeten aan de picknicktafel. Service gerichte vriendelijke bediening. Werkt hygiënisch met handschoenen. Risolles en lemper smaakte prima. Zalige sateh!!!

Super lekker sandwiches and coffee!!

Super smaakvol! Echt een aanrader. Keurig op tijd geleverd. Alles lekker. Geen enorme portieszoals bij een afhaal Chinese rijsttafel! En toch echt ruim voldoende voor ons. We bestellen snel weer.

I got a tokoh tempeh bowl and I could not eat it. The cucumbers and radish were all soggy, the mango was not fresh and the tempeh was way too sweet.

Very bad air, maybe no ventilation while cooking and deep frying. Menu implies that this is indonesian, but the asian cook/waitress can't speak Bahasa but is nice. Soto Ayam was a big disappointment. Also expensive. And definitely not indonesian. Some interesting drinks and sambal is available. But better go somewhere else to eat.

One of our favourite places to get takeaway from. The Rames Tokoh is so so good and such a great price whether you get the small or large. The ramen was unexpectedly amazing, delivered really nicely with the broth separate from the noodles and toppings. Food always is delivered hot to Zeeburgereiland and takes about an hour to arrive but we don’t mind, it’s well worth it.

Denk je veilig (ivm glutenintolerantie) te bestellen want je hebt een quinoa bowl met verse groente, zitten er allemaal rare pasta korrels in de quinoa. En dan bel je nog naar de zaak om te vragen wat die witte korrels zijn, en je kunt gewoon geen antwoord krijgen. Raar toch?

Having ordered from them several times, I can only say that they’re pretty sloppy. The food arrives half cold. Another time they provided a cheesecake that was clearly old and so rubbery that it was more useful as a tennis ball. The food is ok, but I don’t see why I should have to reheat a meal that supposed to be delivered warm. Definitely won’t order from them again.
