When we arrived got told half the menu was unavailable incl all mains, most sides, except burgers, and not a single desert. After waiting for 45min for the first starter got told the kitchen is slow today, well yes noticed that, would have been useful to share befor we ordered so maybe. Our last starter eventually arrived after the burgers, after 1h 45min. The bill at the end was also wrong luckily I checked it. I ended up having to go to the staff to order drinks as they wouldn't come around normally and pretty much ignored the guests. The arcade is fun so! Skip the restaurant and just enjoy the arcade.

A super fun place to have drinks and play games. We spent the whole evening playing Jenga and Uno XL. There was plenty of choice, and there's also a game room upstairs.

Great place to have some beers (big array of options), play some jenga or other arcade games and grab a nice bite while at it. Reserving a place is advised (in case you want to eat something).

I can't understand the good reviews, especially regarding the food. Were you paid or something? Food: What the hell was that!? For €15 or so, I get a burger that's McDonald's quality, if that. In my estimation, it's a store-bought burger and a bun with some onions and a slice of cheese. Visually, it's very much on McDonald's level. And then there was a random piece of carrot and some unidentifiable white stuff (sauerkraut? kohlrabi?) on the plate? Huh? And not even the carrot tasted good, how could that be? If you're used to burgers from Hans im Glück and the like, it's a truly devastating sight. My boyfriend had it even worse with his "gourmet steak." 125 grams for over €20. Nothing more than a tiny portion of vegetables, and the taste was really bad. Just bad. Oh yeah, the meat wasn't cooked through either. The best part was the definitely store-bought and much too small spring rolls. Words fail me. Service: Our server was actually quite good, even if she seemed rather stressed to me. Atmosphere: We sat outside. You can borrow board games and play them, which we thought was pretty cool, even though we couldn't play them due to the language barrier and the sometimes missing instructions. There's a mini arcade on the upper floor of the building where you can play for €1 per game. Unfortunately, most of the games there didn't appeal to us; they mostly featured shooters and racing games. It's charming in itself, though, if that's what you're interested in. I actively advise against going! The food alone speaks volumes. It might be worth it just for the arcade, but definitely not beyond that.

The food was surprisingly good. You don't really come here for the food, but it was simply fantastic. The service was also great, especially compared to what you're used to in Amsterdam. What was disappointing, and that's the reason you go here, were the arcade games and board games. There wasn't much variety. They were mainly travel versions of card games like Koehandel and Keer op Keer. Many games were incomplete, didn't come with manuals, and the Keer op Keer score sheets were all full. You might as well throw that game away. I didn't see any games like Risk, 7 Wonders, Catan, Hitster, or Ticket to Ride at all. And that goes for many other well-known titles. The arcade was also disappointing. Online, it looks much larger than it actually is. There are only a few game machines. And of the ones there, many don't work properly. I lost my points in air hockey, one of the players' joysticks malfunctioned in the Ninja Turtle game, and in Mario Kart, one player couldn't use any items, making winning impossible. All in all, it was a fun evening. But you come here for the games. And if those are disappointing, there's little reason to come back. For just drinks, there are plenty of other places that are more fun.

Waited in the terrace for 20 mins nobody came to ask for orders . Went inside to ask waiter that I wanted to give order they said they ll send someone but they didnt

We had a great time at TonTon, food was really good. Huge selection of bottle beer. And waiters and service were super fun and super friendly! Will be back again!

The location itself is great - atmospheric, nicely decorated and at first glance a nice place to sit. Unfortunately our experience was quite ruined by the behavior of a female waiter. She seemed to be under the influence (drunk), shouted and sang through and outside the establishment and behaved in a downright unprofessional and disruptive way. Very unfortunate, because this brings down the whole atmosphere. Hopefully something will be done about this, because the place itself definitely has potential.

Very nice location. For the rest, the food was decent (even if the burger sides were really awful and incurable), the service was a bit too intimate. In particular, there was an Italian waitress who seemed really over the moon because she behaved in a rude and anything but professional manner.

Cute place with fun games but service is super slow. Even when there are servers walking around theyre not paying any attention and will be gone quite quickly, so you constantly have to keep an eye out for them and shout them over.

TonTon Club is always fun. The atmosphere inside is warm and vibrant, there is several fun arcade games upstairs to play, and the food and beer selections downstairs are tasty and well-priced.

Unfortunately a bit aggenebbis. Is in decline. Few games and half of them don't work well like air hockey. Not recommended

Excellent place. Very cool, excellent atmosphere. VIP service. Very good food. I only regret the pepper that came in my pasta. It was excellent, but the pepper ran out as Go. I didn't see it on the menu. But the food there usually has pepper. You have to ask.

Always a fun spot to go to, whether it's with friends, colleagues, or a weird first date you probably won't see again. If your date turns out more boring than you'd gathered from those five Hinge messages, at least you can destroy him at air hockey. Nice snacks, good prices, and the waiters/waitresses are always fun too.

We went there as a group, separated on several tables. It took more than 45 minutes to be served Gyozas and even our drinks took a long time to arrive. The waitress served one of our tables and spilled soy sauce on our things placed at our feet. She was going to leave without saying anything and without apologizing. Finally we thought about it and the restaurant offered us dessert. The dishes were quite spicy, which was not specified/written on the menu card. And on top of that, the restaurant was very noisy, we almost had to shout to talk to each other even though we were face to face. If it ever bothers people, the toilets are mixed and there is only one, which is not necessarily clean. Half the games upstairs didn't work. On top of that, the tokens for these games are quite expensive.

Expensive food, with very small portions - €9 for a single fish taco is really something. The seaweed burger was dry - it would benefit from some pickles or sauce. Apart from the portions, the food was good - perfectly cooked, with full flavour. Service was lovely, and there was a lively atmosphere. The games upstairs were very few, and expensive. So many required double tokens for 2 or so minutes of play that it turned into an expensive evening - spending as much as a movie ticket for less than 15 minutes of play. I could handle expensive food and free games, but expensive food plus expensive (and limited) games means that I won’t be back.

Food pretty good! Nice place in Amsterdam! Large outdoor terrace and open kitchen. Arcade games do provide a funny extra feature, but don't expect too much from it. Some games are also broken, for example (I understand that with all those drunk people). There were far too few toilets and when we arrived (there were 2), the staff had put a defective sign on one of the only 2 working toilets, even though there were perhaps 200 people there. All in all I stood in line for the toilet for half an hour. I think I'll order 2 dixis then! Had a fun evening.

Nowadays, the rudeness and general boredom of the catering staff in hip Amsterdam tents has almost become a sad commonplace. Not so at the Ton Ton club. I was amazed and pleasantly surprised by their un-Amsterdam niceness and helpfulness. I organized a surprise party there for a good friend and the staff was very relaxed and helpful. Even when everything went a bit wrong in the beginning, there was a lot of thought and a friendly laugh about it. Look, don't expect an innovative or exciting menu, but you don't come here for haute cuisine. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and relaxed. We were able to hang out all evening and occasionally play a game in the arcade. In addition, we could simply leave our coats and other belongings without having to worry about them. The fact that two of the three guest toilets were not working on a Saturday evening was unfortunately a shame and quite incomprehensible, but it did not spoil the fun. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to hang out with a beer and a bitterbal, chat and play a game!

Very nice club, my girlfriend and I came here to play games. You can have a lot of fun gaming for just ten euros. The drinks were very expensive… I paid €7.70 for a beer and €4.20 for an Ice Tea. For the rest great 👌

Excellent arcade bar kind of vibe. Fun multiplayer options upstairs and great food down. A bit pricey, but great variety and fun to share, would definitely recommend checking it out, particularly as a good birthday or party location!

The positives of our visit were definitely the wonderful staff and food. The negatives were that there was only one toilet, it was upstairs and always occupied. This was a big negative for me. Besides that, the restaurant was incredibly loud and it was almost impossible to hold a conversation. The tables were super close to each other so the ambiance was ‘sardines in a can’. Finally, the arcade games were a fun touch but when you pay for arcade games you expect them all to function, the left item button on the Mario kart didn’t work and the right button on the left Mario olympics machine seemed to be malfunctioning. All in all, I might come back but it’s not high on my list.

I'm torn so I'll list each thought: per: - Quality > Quantity the food tastes very good - the ambience is very lively and encouraging - You can borrow games from the tables that you can play while you wait (Kniffel, Jenga, etc.) - There are very fun slot machines on the 2nd floor - we were able to sit and play board games for a long time after dinner against: - unfortunately the food was very little with some portions (see pictures) some of which cost €10 - someone who ordered rice and chicken first received the chicken and then the rice after +/- 10 minutes - the waitress dropped sauce on a friend's scarf (probably because it was very busy)

Perfect place to take a girl on a first date and let her beat you in Mario Kart or some other game. Also a great venue to go with friends or family. A bit expensive though.

The place is very nice and original, with Japanese-style game machines and a very cozy decoration. However, I give it 4 stars because the food portions are very small and expensive. Recommended to go play and have a few drinks but for lunch or dinner it is more profitable to go somewhere else.

Our experience at tonton club was very disappointing. Flavour is certainly not a priority here. We ordered the Korean tacos, chicken gyozas and some sides. The tacos were dry and bland. The chicken gyozas weren't anything special either. The rice was not cooked very well and had some hard bits. It is very loud inside and quite hard to have a conversation because of it. Additionally, the waiters did not make us feel at ease as they kept pushing us to order more drinks.

Fun little spot with decent food and games on the second floor. Very friendly service. The selection of arcade games is a little sparse, some of which were out of order. Nice option during the summer time with outdoor space. Not a place I would intentionally travel to but would consider popping in if you happen to be in the area.

It’s OK I don’t really understand it’s hype

My daughter describes it as the place with the broken games. Well besides some games not working, we enjoyed our time. Nice vibe, family friendly, not too busy and reasonably priced arcade tokens.

We came here with memories of a Japanese fried chicken night on Christmas Eve. However, this time very disappointed with the food. Especially about the honey lemon glaze, which made all the food taste like a bottle of cheap honey had been squeezed over it. Especially with the vegetarian variant, it tasted more like a dessert than a main course. The ramen was so spicy again that you couldn't taste anything else. Only plus about the food was that they gave one of us a new portion. From now on we will only come to play a few games of air hockey with a beer.

You don't come here for the food, but only the atmosphere and fun games/arcade make it worth it! Some arcade games are completely in Japanese, so they are especially fun for experts.

If you are a tourist, don't go to this place. The atmosphere and games are good, but the service is terrible and they clearly don't like tourists. The attendant didn't give us the option to open the bill and said we had to go down to get our drinks. When we went down, we waited for about five minutes for her to serve us, even though there was another attendant there. He just ignored us and didn't serve us. We ended up giving up on our order, spent our tokens, and left. It's a terrible place with terrible service. I don't recommend it to anyone, not even locals or tourists.

Unfortunately, it was very different from what I remembered from Tonton. The staff was completely unconcerned about serving you, you had to beg to be served, and even then, your order never arrived. The environment was poorly designed, the arcade games were upstairs, and the bar and even the snacks were downstairs. When we went down to try to get a beer, no one served us... we waited for several minutes, and nothing happened. There was a server at the counter, but for some reason he couldn't serve us. Some games had problems too... one of them restarted before it started and we lost 2 tokens, because if we couldn't even get service to buy a beer, imagine if they would have helped us to solve this problem.

Normally come here for Pac-Man and air hockey, but the food is actually very good as well. Super nice spot and spacious terrace outside. Enjoyed the dishes, there are many vegetarian options available. Only the negative point were the fries, they were tucked in a cup, what made them soggy / looose their crisp.

I come here every time I come to Amsterdam, with friends, as a couple, always a great welcome and the place is really cool, well decorated, we have a good time there and the cocktails are really good, thank you 🙏

Very nice top floor with Japanese slot machines. Parking with a motorcycle is difficult. Westergas site is mainly designed for cyclists.

Drinks are 4-5 stars. Arcades and boardgames 4 stars. Neither are cheap. Upstairs where the arcades are can get hot in summer due to lack of AC. Food and service regrettably has steeply gone downhill over the years. Most food came out very fast and was bland tasting, lack of texture, not too hot. Yakitori very small and drenched in sauce. Burgers came out last so were perhaps the freshest. There were many vegan options. Service is rough. Personnel is young, hip looking and generally kind, but it’s hard to get attention to your table, dinner mains were brought to table minutes apart, cutlery and napkins were only brought to the table when asked after mains were put down but insufficient for amount of guests, late in clearing the table. Personnel takes their smoke breaks next to the building/terrace. Remains a fun place to visit with early and late teens! As adults, come for drinks and games, but eat elsewhere.

What a nice restaurant. Tasty food and good service. A great place for gamers. Definitely go there again.
