This is really great. The setting is already very special, so you have a lovely place to sit, but the food is delicious and surprising. Small bites, so great for sharing food here. We can definitely recommend the truffle cheese fondue. Very friendly and attentive service, and you can also simply buy delicious products or festive platters with all kinds of goodies. A must if you are ever in Veghel.

Absolutely amazing! What an experience. You really have to see and experience this. Very creative to handle an old building like this. And especially delicious treats 🤩✨

It is often a bit quieter there—which we appreciate—making for a relaxed evening and genuine attention from the staff. Nice place with delicious food. The dishes not only look fantastic but are all equally tasty. We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly. You always feel welcome. Definitely worth it. As far as we are concerned, the best option in Veghel.

We had a delicious meal last night, with friendly service and compliments to the chef! We had the Theater Menu and everything was delicious!

We ordered a snack platter with bread and soup to enjoy at our hotel after a wonderful birthday. When we picked it up, the bread was baked briefly, and we enjoyed a cup of coffee. And what a joy it was to open the box, and an even bigger joy to eat it. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommended.

Last Saturday, August 16th, I had lunch here with my eldest son. The food and wine were excellent, and the service was genuinely warm and attentive. The price-quality ratio was excellent. In short, highly recommended.

We were invited to dinner at De Plank and opted for the "evening platter," a soup and several delicious smaller dishes. The owners weren't around (they were on vacation), but the staff were very helpful that Friday evening. Finally, we bought some delicious cheese. Highly recommended!

We dachten fijn met ons gezin te dineren. We schrokken een beetje van de ambiance , midden in een ex-fabriekshal maar het is dan ook de Noordkade, dus niet zeuren. We namen aan dat de menukeuze uit tapas en uit normale hoofdgerechten bestond (gezien het prijsverschil) maar er bleken daar ook tapas te zijn van 15 tot 20 euro! Die was nieuw voor ons. Tapas van 6 euro en en tapas a hoofdgerecht prijzen maar dan in tapas hoeveelheid. Elk persoon 2 a 3 gerechten was het advies. Dat gaat dan flink in de papieren lopen! De bijgerechten (friet en sla) vond ik duur en de sla niet bijzonders. Van de 4 “tapas” waren er 2 ok maarhoofdgerecht. 1 was ondermaats en 1 ronduit slecht. De kaasfondue was gewoon niet lekker en onze opmerking daarover werd kribbig ontvangen. Het viel ons op dat de fondue, zonder vlammentje onder het schaaltje, niet stolde! Afijn, bovenstaande plus 2 drankjes PP plus een voorgerechtje (6 stukjes brood met aioli) -> hoppa, €125 euro! Zeer matige prijs-kwaliteits verhouding, vinden wij. Hier komen wij niet terug!

The food was so delicious! Every single dish was delicious. We found the prices a bit high, but the quality of the food makes it worth it.

A delicious lunch: mini baguettes (pieces of French bread) with a tasty topping of tuna, prosciutto, and cheese—yummy! Luxurious look, delicious combinations.

On someone's recommendation, we stopped at Plank for lunch. After asking about the menu, I finally opted for the mini baguettes with meat, fish, and vegetarian options. A slight adjustment was made so I could have two types of meat. We both really enjoyed the toppings (brie with mango chutney, cured ham, and steak tartare). Everything was delicious, and the steak tartare is truly flavorful with an original and delicious twist! We always go for dessert, and the lunch size leaves plenty of room for it. Since we couldn't decide, we went for the dessert platter. The homemade cheesecake is very soft and full of flavor with a delicious caramel sauce, and the Pastel de nata is divine, just like the ones from Portugal. We had surprisingly good food and drinks (three drinks, two of which were alcoholic) for €30 per person. Perhaps a bit pricey, but because we tried so many different things and the quality is good, we think it's more than worth it and highly recommend it.

The food was truly delicious. Beautiful prawns, a delicious steak tartare. A lovely cheese board. And the coffee was excellent too. The service was very friendly. A beautiful, creative location too. We'll definitely be back. Note: The only thing that was better described on the menu for the baguette was the actual price. The price wasn't quite right either.

Picked up some very tasty snack platters. Enjoyed them thoroughly!

The price-quality ratio is completely wrong here with De Plank. A salad of the day is also literally some lettuce leaves, part of a bag of mixed lettuce, with in this case a few slices of cheese. No dressing. You must order fries separately. And in the case of the Arancini, 5 risotto bitterballen, there is a small layer of lettuce underneath with some Dutch shrimps. Here too you have to order fries and lettuce separately. Soup as an appetizer and 1 beer and 1 ginger ale. €66 CHECKOUT. Not worth repeating.

Voor onze voorstelling in de blauwe kei hier gaan eten. We hadden gereserveerd voor het theatermenu. Aangezien wij alles lusten, hebben we ons laten verrassen. De vis was heel lekker, de saus nog veel beter. Ook genoten we van de kaasfondue en de pepersteak was perfect klaargemaakt. Wij betalen liever iets meer voor kwalitatief goed eten. Dus als je zoekt naar kwalitatief goed eten en je bent bereid om iets meer te betalen, dan zit je hier goed!

Food and wine were of good quality. The cheese fondue was very tasty and so were the tenderloin tips.

We regularly visit Plank and it is always nice and very pleasant. The drink boxes for at home are also great! If we realize too late that we want a snack, we just go there and choose some cheese and sausage for home. We have also participated several times in the theme evenings that are organized monthly and that is also a lot of fun. We think Plank is one of the best places in Veghel for a delicious lunch, drink or dinner.

Nice meal. Cheese fondue is highly recommended. Very nice service. The tables are too close together and it is quite restless because you look at the kitchen and the passing public. That felt a bit uncomfortable. I could hear the neighbors' conversations. The price was not in proportion to what you got on your plate...too high.

Super nice ambiance on the Noordkade and friendly service, but the price/quality ratio is really lacking here. Due to the concept: small dishes, each with a smaller price tag in terms of portion, you will spend too much money at the end of the journey, also considering the quality. Very nice in terms of environment, but completely out of balance in terms of price, quantity and quality.

De verhouding prijs kwaliteit is helemaal scheef. Te weinig voor veel geld. Zowel eten als drinken. Site dishes- portie friet + truffel €6,==

We had a delicious meal but thought the price was too high in relation to the quality/portion. We ordered the board for two people. What we got was a good variety of dishes. The cheese fondue was very tasty. The soup and fish pot could have been a bit warmer. The lady serving was attentive without being pushy.

Can't place an order there. You need to plan ahead when you want to get a drink. Already wanted to order 4 times but it wasn't possible. Very unfortunate, you are missing out on a lot of customers this way...

Na een uitje met het gezin van 5 bij Plank beland, het zag er veel belovend uit. De teleurstelling was groot, we mochten niet van de kaart kiezen want de keuken was te druk, dus een verassingsplank voor de tafel. Het gepresenteerde eten was niet geweldig, de porties klein en vooral heel zout.De bediening is netjes, daar is niets op aan te merken.

Leuke locatie met vriendelijke bedieningen en heerlijke gerechten.

Onze favoriet! De lekkerste borrelboxen maar ook om in de bistro te drinken en te eten is een absolute aanrader. Hele vriendelijke mensen en heel erg lekker eten!

Goede ambiance zeer uitnodigend, helaas was de coq a vin onvindbaar, ook nadat de ondefinieerbare groente eraf geschept was, (spinazie?) en de frites smakeloos. Kreeg na de klacht wel een kopje koffie van de zaak. Ja gaat toch met enige verwachtingen dineren. Werd helaas niet waar gemaakt.

Wat een verademing! Heerlijke lunch. Wij gaan ook zeker een borrelplank halen!

De avondplank eten voor een avondje theater; altijd lekker en gezellig bij Plank! Vriendelijk personeel, goede sfeer, lekkere verse gerechtjes. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding! Als je echt heeeel kritisch bent, mag het brood onder de crostini's wel iets minder dik gesneden zijn, maar dat is echt een detail.

Leuke plek met echt heerlijk eten, of je nu voor lunch of diner komt.. altijd lekker en verrassend. We halen er ook graag lekkere noten, kaas en worst voor een luxe borrelplank voor thuis. Echt een aanrader, deze plek.

Een keurig verzorgde lunch met ons tweeën in een open ruimte maar toch intiem opgezet. De bediening is zeer goed en niet opdringerig zodat je kunt genieten van het samen zijn.

Super leuke locatie, zeker voor de borrel of een heerlijk koffie momentje. Bevlogen eigenaars duo die ook voor jou thuis een perfecte borrel plank kunnen samenstellen.. aanrader!

Super leuk tentje! Heerlijke kazen, worsten, broden en noten. Ze maken een mooi pakketje voor elke gelegenheid en de Borrelboxen zijn fantastisch!

Ontzettend lekker eten, sfeervol en lieve mensen. We hebben er als brunch gegeten. Ook leuk om daarna meteen een ronde Noordkade te doen.

Prima bediening!! We hadden lunch van de plank... incl. soepje en toetje. voor €15,- p/pers. excl. drank. Het smaakte lekker maar helaas wat minimaal voor het geld.

Goede kwaliteit van de producten, super lekkere en mooi opgemaakte boxen! Ook erg klantvriendelijk, er wordt veel aandacht besteed aan het leren kennen van jouw smaken en favoriete producten.

Uitnodigende en sfeervolle aankleding, wat een mooie smaak en zeer stijlvol. De gerechten , producten en boxen zien er fantastisch uit, je wordt er hebberig van en wekken je eetlust op. De bediening is zeer deskundig , charmant en behulpzaam.

Prachtige zaak gerund door gepassioneerde vakmensen. Een kloppend concept: lokale, pure en verse producten van hoge kwaliteit op een robuuste houten plank gemaakt door mensen met een verstandelijke beperking. Zowel thuis te beleven (voor in de Corona tijd perfect!) als op de Noordkade, Veghel (hopelijk snel weer). Echt een aanrader waar gezelligheid en sociale en lokale impact samenkomen!

Wauw! Door een borrel plank van Jeroen werd het op jubileum van mijn trouwdag toch nog een feestje! Samen genoten van heerlijke Kaasjes, Worst en andere lekkernijen! En zo mooi opgemaakt! Onder de indruk!

Twee vriendelijke mensen die op dit moment de zaak runnen. Ze kunnen het restaurant niet gebruiken. Maar ze hebben wel goeie borrelboxen. Die ze brengen of je kunt ze halen.

Lekker geluncht, gezellige en leuke plek om te zitten

Met Pasen een brunchbox van Plank besteld. Luxe belegde bagels, quiche, vers fruit en een fantastische oreo mousse, het was heerlijk!

Mooie producten! Heerlijke smaak, met liefde bereid. Al een paar keer hier gegeten, voorafgaand aan een theatervoorstelling. Aanrader.
