Small, a bit cramped, but very tasty, lots of homemade food.

What an experience! Truly the best pizza I have eaten in years. Fantastic ambiance. Julio (the chef) speaks with such love about Italian cuisine. The hostess (Silvia) pours the wine with love. What a passionate gathering under one roof. The atmosphere is also so wonderfully relaxed. We won't forget this one.

We always order from Donna Rossa. This one was closed. According to my neighbor, the pizzas here are delicious. So, we ordered here for the first time. Not for pickup, but for delivery, because we had just gotten home from vacation and were busy unpacking. No delivery time was mentioned during the ordering process. Only in the confirmation email did we see that it was going to take an hour. I wish I had known that when ordering; I might have chosen something else. When nothing had been delivered after 75 minutes, we called; they didn't have a delivery driver, which is why it was taking so long. Just call them, I think. That would have been the polite thing to do. After 1.5 hours, our order finally arrived. And it was at the right temperature. However, one dish was wrong. We had ordered one pasta dish and two pizzas instead of three. We called; we could still get pasta, but that would have taken too long for us. We just wanted to point out that things had gone wrong so they could learn from it. But the owner wouldn't let me finish speaking and started shouting that I was being unreasonable. Very peculiar, this reaction. The pizza was delicious, by the way! But we won't be ordering from here again. That is not how you treat customers.

What a "Gem" in Schagen. A heartwarming welcome. Despite the crowds, contact is made immediately. You feel seen here. A more than delicious complimentary appetizer is brought to the table. Real cooking takes place here. All ingredients in all their purity, with a drizzle of fantastic olive oil. At our request, a delicious antipasti is served. One surprising bite after another. Fortunately, we can still taste the pizza.... FANTASTIC. But above all, the love for the food radiates from the plate here. Fortunately, we will be back soon!!!!! Reservations are recommended.

What a wonderful experience! We ate here for the first time and everything was truly delicious. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making you feel welcome immediately. The owners are also incredibly friendly and hospitable, which makes the experience complete. We didn't get around to eating. The lady (I think the owner) was so unfriendly. To both her staff and her customers. There was a very nasty atmosphere. Never experienced anything like it. We eventually even walked out of the restaurant angry after she, following yet another instance of unfriendliness, called us out on the fact that the dog wasn't constantly lying under the table. I fully understand that someone might be afraid of dogs. Because of that, we even accepted the food and drinks so she wouldn't have to come near. But if you are so afraid of dogs that you start reprimanding your customers for a happy Labrador... then you'd better either say no or work on your fears (and behavior). Definitely do not eat here if you have your dog with you. But I would advise against it anyway; it says a lot about how someone treats their staff, and that is scandalously bad here. Constant grumbling about the staff. I feel sorry for the people who work here. No matter how good the food is, the atmosphere is worthless. Never again.

The hostess and chef make it a special dining experience. Attention to the customer. The food is a real treat. We will definitely be back.

Lovely Italian restaurant We have eaten there several times now. From delicious pizzas to equally tasty pastas, the last time I had a fresh lasagna, also highly recommended. The owners are super friendly And sociable.

What a wonderful evening we had here. The atmosphere in the place is incredibly cozy, and the tables are cheerfully set with those beautiful placemats featuring lemon motifs. The pizzas tasted absolutely fantastic. The thin crust and fresh toppings, especially the arugula and walnuts on my pizza, really made it perfect. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. We will definitely be back here soon. Highly recommended for anyone in Schagen who loves really good food.

I have rarely eaten such delicious pizzas in the Netherlands.. Truly top-notch….and truly Italian! This is highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat real Italian food. A small but genuine and particularly friendly Italian pizzeria in the heart of Schagen in the shadow of a huge Vomar with all its so-called pizzas and right next to the New York Pi.. (Whatever the hell it is they're selling)

Perhaps the best pizza I have ever had. Pear with gorgonzola, simply scandalously delicious! The other pizzas were also exceptionally tasty. We also had a very pleasant chat with the owners afterwards (with limoncello). Until next time!

What delicious food! A typical Italian atmosphere perfect for enjoying a delicious pizza. They only have a few tables, so it's a good idea to make a reservation. There's a lot of attention paid to the customers, almost like a family. The food is cooked with love.

We've dined at Trattoria La Perla several times, and they always serve the most delicious, freshly prepared Italian dishes. It has a cozy, homey atmosphere, and if you're lucky, chef Giulio will sing Italian songs, making for a truly fantastic evening! Last December, we had Silvia and Giulio cater a large party (80 people) at our home. Chef Giulio even prepared appetizers right there in our kitchen, which was truly wonderful to see. We've received very positive feedback from all our guests, so in short: Trattoria La Perla is highly recommended!

I'm a huge fan of the pizzas and impressed with the service. I ordered pizzas on time, but only realized very late that I'd entered the wrong delivery time. I called, and despite it being busy, I was treated kindly and received my order promptly. Fantastic, and that will be an extra tip. Next time!

What a terrible place. We've ordered twice now, and both times we missed it, and it was a few minutes late, because that's possible. Two hours late! My advice is never to order from them again. Because I'm going to do that too.

Authentic Italian pasta, just like we had in Italy! Delicious! The Etna was really spicy, which we love. The lasagna was delicious, but we still prefer the pizzas here. The tiramisu is wonderfully light and fluffy.

The restaurant was packed during our visit, and it was very crowded at times. When someone wanted to use the restroom, we had to move one of our chairs. A small, delicious appetizer was on the house beforehand, which we thought was nice and thoughtful. The service was very friendly; the mediocre rating refers to the fact that we had to wait almost two hours for our pizza, which is far too long, especially when eating out with children. The pizza itself was very tasty, but the salad starter was a bit boring. I think it's a very good trattoria; we probably just picked the wrong day...

If you really want to eat good authentic Italian food and experience Italian hospitality, La Perla is the place to be. What incredibly good food and what friendly, warm people who run this business. I can only recommend it. It is a very small place with a less practical layout, but don't let that distract you. Here you get the best Italian food in the area.

What a great store this is... Not because of the beautiful looks. But is that also the point? Small, mostly focused on takeaway/delivery. We made a reservation based on the great reviews, and what a wonderful evening we had! Especially because of the absolutely fantastic food. So authentically tasty. But also certainly because of the warm, cordial and, above all, personal attention. Conversations continue in depth until well after closing time. Felt like a gift.... Silvia, Guilio and daughter, thank you for a great evening and we will see each other again! Recommended!

A real Italian trattoria in Schagen in North Holland... you wouldn't believe that, would you? So I put it to the test and visited Trattoria La Perla to pick up 2 takeaway pizzas. You can also have it delivered, but I prefer to see on site how everything is organized. Here's the report (spoiler: this trattoria lives up to its name!): The trattoria consists of a small dining area (was fully booked) and a takeaway area/kitchen and small seating area. The service was busy, the Italian hostess was friendly. Authentic fresh dishes (antipasti) were displayed in the refrigerated display case. The pizzaiolo was busy preparing dishes and baking homemade bread in between (great!). I like to see how pizzas are prepared (it's my hobby); this man has a good handle on it, good to see. The menu has more than enough choice with pizzas, pasta dishes, side dishes and desserts. We chose 2 pizza specialties: pizza with Parma ham and pear/gorgonzola/walnut. On the advice of the hostess we brought home-made tiramisu. The pizzas were very good, recommended! The tiramisu is also worth it. I would say: try this trattoria, the name 'trattoria' certainly lives up to its name. We will definitely come back here. Schagen can be proud of such a restaurant!

For 3 years now, the food here has been of consistently high quality with the taste just like in Italia! The Melanzane is my favorite next to the pizza parma. The negroamaro from Puglia is my favorite

Everything was great. The 2 waitresses and the cook are all very friendly and hospitable. And the pizzas tasted really good and were quite large. We didn't have room for dessert, but we brought home-made tiramisu. We will definitely eat here more often.

Have had several good experiences here. The food is delicious, very friendly people and a very good atmosphere. Initially it was fully booked, so we were put on the reserve list. The owner borrowed a table from the neighbors, called me personally and ensured that we could still come and eat. The experience already received 5 stars, but it is well deserved by the good atmosphere that has been created. The owner, who works in the kitchen himself, came into the restaurant and started singing Italian songs. So if you are looking for a good restaurant and want a unique Italian experience, book a table and go here!

Ein sehr liebevolles und super leckeres Restaurant. Eigentlich war schon alles voll, die Besitzer haben mir dennoch ihren "Familientisch" im hinteren Bereich des Restaurants frei geräumt und mich liebevoll bedient (trotz des etwas abseits stehenden Tisches wurde ich nie übersehen und genauso bedient wie alle anderen Gäste!). Das Essen war super lecker und ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder hierher wenn es sich ergibt. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem wärmstens empfehlen!!!!

Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist gemütlich rustikal und der Service ist herzlich familiär. Eine Reservierung ist zu empfehlen, da das ‚La Perla‘ sehr beliebt ist. Die Pizzen sind groß, hauchdünn, knusprig und lecker belegt. So wie sie sein sollen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, Danke für den schönen Abend.

Wir hatten die starken Bewertungen auf Google Maps gesehen, einen Tisch reserviert und waren bei der Ankunft überrascht, dass es sich hinsichtlich Ambiente eher um ein Take-Away mit einigen (7?) Tischen handelte, als um ein klassisches Restaurant, wie wir es erwartet hatten. Vielleicht hatten wir falsche Erwartungen. Die Google Maps Fotos sind Klasse. Das essen vor Ort war gut. Insalata Caprese war prima. Der Pizzateig war nicht so meins und ist auch beim Rest der Familie nicht so gut angekommen. Hat eher an Crossini erinnert. Bezahlen konnte man mit Kreditkarte nicht. EC-Karte wäre gegangen, hatten wir aber nicht. Also blieb nur bar zahlen. Beim Verlassen rochen unsere Kleider, als ob wir in der Küche mitgeholfen hätten. 🙂 Der Service war freundlich und nett. Für eine schnelle Pizza zum Abholen, gerne. Das sehr hohe Rating kann ich persönlich nicht nachvollziehen. Ich persönlich kann hier nur ein durchschnittliches Rating geben, um im Vergleich auch anderen Gerecht zu werden.

Wir haben selten eine so gute Pizza gegessen - der Boden ein Gedicht - belegt mit viel Liebe und Erfahrung! Top Service - sehr aufmerksam. Jederzeit wieder!

Als pizza fan kan ik iedereen La Perla aanbevelen! Zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije mensen. En vooral wat een zeer smakelijke pizza's met enkel verse ingrediënten. Leuk om te zien dat echt passie in je eten stoppen nog steeds bestaat. Daarnaast worden er typisch Italiaanse producten verkocht en ook de deserts zijn zelf gemaakt. Aanbevolen: tiramisu.

Na een tijdje zoeken eindelijk weer een echt goede pizza gevonden!. Ik ben niet gauw tevreden, dat weet ik. Dit is goeie pizza! Het deeg is perfect van smaak en krokant. Verse pizza gemaakt door leuke mensen. Wat wil je nog meer? Aanrader!
