Very hard, burnt fries at the kapsalon. You get enough for 4 people. If you go back, you can get a €4 discount for next time. Do they really think...? Never again.

Hygiene scores low for me. The chairs and benches were completely worn, and the lights were half off. The döner sandwich tasted okay but contained very little meat. Mostly lettuce. The lady behind the counter was friendly, though.

The chicken over pilaf wasn't bad, despite its factory appearance. But please don't sell this as lahmacun; it doesn't seem to have any meat in it.

I’m not a huge fan of Turkish food in the Netherlands, but this place really reminded me of Turkey! the culture, the style. Like those esnaf lokantası back home: common spots for local shopkeepers and students, budget-friendly, serving a wide range of home-style dishes. You pick your own plate, choose from a variety of soups, and it all feels familiar and welcoming.
