Delicious food. Cozy atmosphere. Hospitality is top-notch.

We made a reservation a month ago for my mother and her siblings. A week beforehand, we received an email from a NorReply address that looked like spam, saying it had been canceled due to a carnival ball. They said they would contact us, but so far (after the reserved date) they still haven't. Even after emailing us directly, we still haven't received a response. We find it very rude to cancel a reservation this way and at the very least, we expected a phone call. It also seems to me that a carnival ball is announced far in advance, so reservations shouldn't be possible. The first time was on the recommendation of others, but unfortunately, never again. Update: De Witte Zwaan contacted us and asked us to provide our address so they could send us an apology. This was three weeks ago, but unfortunately, we haven't received anything yet.

Farewell party with 15 colleagues. Very good and attentive staff. The food was delicious. Excellent.

A good cafe/restaurant in itself, especially if you can sit outside in the beautiful garden. However, inside, it looks like a cafe with tables for food and nothing special, so it's a bit lacking in atmosphere. The food is good but nothing special. It's just standard fare, so if you don't mind that, it's recommended.

What a lovely place. A fantastically beautiful garden, and there's often a great band or something.

+Large and beautiful garden, very pleasant in better weather. +Large and clean restrooms. +Good service; the glass was never empty for long. +Excellent wines and a great selection of craft beers. +Unique appetizers and the option for an entremet. +/ -Parking was almost impossible. My advice is to come by bike, walk, or park elsewhere nearby. -The veal tenderloin and tournedos were both very soggy. The tournedos resembled a wet piece of ground meat and lacked flavor. In my personal opinion, it may have been stored incorrectly and cooked undercooked. For a piece of meat costing over €30, I expect more. I mentioned this when I was served, and it was supposed to be passed on, but I haven't heard anything more since... Otherwise, we had a very good evening, and all the other dishes were excellent. I still recommend the White Swan.

A lovely (outdoor) venue for a party, weather permitting. Of course, you can also go to the conservatory or café with a smaller group.

We komen hier al lang en regelmatig. In de tuin kan je heerlijk zitten. Wat me opvalt is dat de kwaliteit vh eten steeds beter wordt. Gisteren voor t Shared dining menu gekozen. 3 verschillende voor- en hoofd gerechten. Mooie verschillende smaken en goed gekruid en bereid. Knapperige groentes...goed gegaarde vis en mals vlees. Romanof aarbeien toe.... heerlijk gegeten. Bedankt

We organized a memorial service in the beautiful garden of the White Swan. They were very helpful and supportive, and we were truly well-served during this rather serious gathering. There was plenty of room for our own ideas. We had a truly wonderful gathering, and everything went exactly as we'd hoped! We look back on a truly warm and wonderful gathering, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you so much!

Toplocatie zeker als je met jonge kinderen iets te vieren hebt zoals ons jubileumfeest. Gezellig geborreld maar we zijn erg teleurgesteld door de kwaliteit en de onzorgvuldigheid van het eten.. verkeerd gerecht, een gerecht was niet doorgekomen en in het surf en turfgerecht vond ik slechts 1 garnaal..

We had the entrecote and mixed grill. The flavours were alright, but the entrecote was very small. For € 27,- you'd expect a little more ;can see through the onion rings the width and length. Though maybe this is the new norm? I understand now why there's no weight of the meat mentioned on the menu... Also, the steak in the mixed grill was quite chewy. We decided to have our desserts elsewhere as not to be disappointed further. Service was attentive and kind.

Tonight we had a great meal! Nice cozy restaurant, fresh products, good food for a good price. Definitely recommended!

Recommended with children through the sandpit and the football field. Food was tasty, but the service was clearly not up to the crowd. It took a very long time before we got something to drink and orders were wrong several times.

Cozy, good service, atmosphere, good food

Positively surprised by the enormous garden behind the building. Lots of nice seating areas and pergolas. Yesterday the kitchen was apparently unable to keep track of everything. Despite empty tables we could not eat. Apparently the large group at the back of the garden took up much of the capacity.

Lunch. Enjoy the first warm rays of sunshine. Enjoyed oriental salad. Fresh orange juice. Friendly staff. Next time the dinner menu.

Very attractive place / garden / cafe / restaurant

Greasy and really boring food, not much is made of it. We came here often in the past and were always very satisfied. We hadn't been for a while, but it was a deception now. Very unfortunate, I hope it improves soon. We'll give it another try......

We zijn ooit fan geworden van De Witte Zwaan na het eten van een Zwaanzinnige salade. Onovertroffen, waanzinnig, zo bijzonder! En een heerlijke sfeer, echt een ziel had dit tuincafé/restaurant, met het allegaartje aan stoelen en kleuren en personeel dat je na een paar keer al kende. Nu een vette fantasieloze Oosterse salade gegeten, wat een deceptie. Het is nog steeds een mooie plek, wat minder ziel, het personeel doet z'n best, maar het eten mag echt wat meer aandacht krijgen..... Hoop dat dit helpt!

Delicious dinner! Super tender and tasty spareribs. Salmon was delicious! Nice service and good atmosphere. Price to quality. Can park your car nearby.

Last Saturday, October 5. I had made a reservation for 9 people in the conservatory. Upon arrival the conservatory turned out to be full. We got the starter and our 2 year old grandson almost got a bowl of hot soup in his hands from the waiter. Fortunately, his mother intervened. The main course came and our grandson still didn't get anything. My son asked about our grandson's food. We had almost finished our food when my son asked where our grandson's food was. Our granddaughter's steak tips had a strange taste and were very tough. A pity, but for us it will not be repeated for the time being.

4 course chefs surprise.. excellent 👌 and their garden is lovely to sit in while enjoying the food.

Met zijn tweetjes gereserveerd om gezellig een verjaardag te vieren. Halverwege de maaltijd, alle andere tafeltjes in de tuin waren leeg, wordt er een hap & trap gezelschap naast ons gezet. Op 50 cm afstand. Zij schuiven de stoelen nog eens extra achteruit, ik kon de aftershave ruiken, en beginnen een geanimeerd gesprek. We hebben het even aangezien maar zijn op een gegeven moment weggelopen. Geklaagd bij het afrekenen, maar we konden een verveelde blik krijgen en een "het kon niet anders". Echt schandalig! We zijn naar Smaakvol gelopen en hebben daar onze lunch maar afgemaakt.

Ik kende deze locatie van jaren geleden. Daar toen gezellig gezeten en goed gegeten. De locatie is nog steeds prima. Je zit rustig achter op een tuinterras. De bediening was goed. Het eten redelijk maar prijzig voor wat je kreeg. De risotto was matig, de groente erop wel goed en lekker. Het meest jammer was dat ze er niet het regionale speciaalbier hebben! Dat zou wat mij betreft een aanvulling zijn!

We had reserved a high tea, lactose free for 1 person. We received all 7 lactose-free dishes without asking. The waiter knocked over a cup of tomato soup. I got this over my clothes and shoes, and my hand, which I burned as a result. The waiter cleaned up as much as possible and offered me one drink, my clothes and shoes and my girlfriend's pants can be dry cleaned and we can hand in the bill to the restaurant. When paying I was told that the boss didn't think it was necessary and that I was getting a free drink. Scandalous!!

We happened to ride our bikes past. The few outdoor tables at the entrance don't seem so inviting, perhaps for smokers, but the garden with lots of seating including a playground for the children is a dream. At lunchtime we ordered the 3-course menu for EUR 27.50 per person. A surprise menu “to share”. It was simply brilliant. In the main course, delicious fish, perfectly prepared, very tender beef and a crispy tarte flambée with goat cheese. It was really rich and the dessert was a sweet experience. We would like to give six stars for price/performance. It's a shame we don't live here. We would come more often.

We had a work BBQ here, despite the bad weather it was a great time. Delicious food and no shortage of drinks. It was quiet at the back of the 'garden' at that time, but that was really due to the weather. Huge terrace behind the café with many nice corners and play area for kids. Definitely back someday.

Nice location and lovely girls in service. Unfortunately, very dirty toilets. Unfortunately, the old urine smell permeated the restaurant, which meant that the food and drinks were not experienced as pleasant. The presentation of the food and drinks could also be more elegant.

Beautiful location! There is a dog walking around. Staff seemed unprofessional. Addressed everyone as 'you' and you had to pass drinks or soup yourself. There was a hair in the fruit salad and the sweet high-tea snacks looked very much like thawed frozen pastries.

'The forgotten table' The food was really delicious, but we really forgot the table. We arrived at 6:30 PM and finally received our starter at 7:45 PM. And also very quickly afterwards at 8:15 PM our main course. The staff was really working hard and it was really busy. The waiter also indicated this when we received our starter. Unfortunately this was not reported earlier when we received our drinks. Because I was actually hoping for a request for a basket of bread and perhaps also some communication that it would be busy. In addition, unfortunately, when taking out the plates, we also asked for a drink and had to wait another 15 minutes for it because they had forgotten it. We asked for the dessert menu ourselves and eventually left at 9:30 PM. Quite a long seat. It's a pity that the experience took a bit long because the food was really tasty!

Unfortunately the food was very bad. The ceviche was a kind of extremely sour vegetable salad with no fewer than 4 pieces of mango, which made it somewhat sweet. When taking the drinks, the empty glassware was not collected if we did not give it to the waiter ourselves. The tournedos was cooked on the sole of the shoe. Unfortunately, it was so tough that some pieces were impossible to chew and had to be spit out. After this was passed on to the management, it was not returned to and therefore nothing was done with it. The red wine gravy that was served with the tournedos was a teaspoon of thick sauce that tasted anything but like red wine. Fries were well cooked and the spare ribs were also tasty, but not much can go wrong with this.

Nice organic wine by the stove, a delicious meal on a quiet evening, with good coffee. A successful evening and one we will certainly repeat.

Verrassend lekker eten. Wij kozen voor het shared dining menu. 3 verschillende voorgerechten en 3 verschillende hoofdgerechten. Mooi gepresenteerd en smakelijk. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug. Ik ben een verwende eter en ben al in veel restaurants geweest.... Dit is goed!

Super tasty food! We enjoy coming here regularly and the food is always delicious. The plates are always beautifully presented, worthy of stars! And always a new surprising menu with always sufficient vegetarian choice.

Familiereünie in de tuin! Eigenlijk niet open, maar toch plaats gemaakt!!

Wat een gezellig restaurant, en een prachtige tuin, super gezellig om daar te genieten van een heerlijk diner. Het eten smaakt fantastisch, en bereid met verse producten. De bediening is super gemotiveerd en gezellig aan tafel. Leuk! Dus wil je lekker eten in Berlicum, dan is dit de juiste keus. 😀

Supermooie locatie, ik heb buiten gezeten. Rustig, ruimte, groen, vriendelijke hond die rond loopt en een hele hartelijke eigenares. Er staan pruimenbomen 🥰 Op de kaart staat niet veel gezonds, dus ben ik voor een broodje kroket gegaan. De kroketten waren echt te vet, of gebakken in oud vet, of? Verder het brood was super en verse jus d'orange ook lekker. Jong personeel dat hard werkt. Binnen ziet het er ook cosy uit.

Hier lang geleden geweest, was lekker. Enkel de risotto iets te kruidig en zout, die was gewoon niet lekker erdoor. Maar geeft niks, de rest was lekker!

Leuke gezellige en gastvrije tent

Heerlijk gegeten, goede bediening in mooie sfeervolle tuin. Grote complimenten aan het personeel voor hun flexibiliteit. Er was voor 8 personen gereserveerd, maar uiteindelijk waren we met 11 waarvan 3 een uur later. De medewerkers kregen het toch voor elkaar om alle hoofdgerechten tegelijkertijd te serveren. Ze bleven daarbij heel vriendelijk, ondanks dat er ook een groot feest aan de gang was waarvoor ze ook voor de hapjes en drankjes moesten zorgen. We komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Populaire plek om feestje te houden. Grote tuin met diverse zitjes. Plezierige mensen. Ouderwets gezellig en traditionele keuken.

Gezellig ouderwets sfeervol,mooi terras buiten in het groen.

Heerlijk gegeten alleen bij voorgerecht was de pepermolen te fanatiek gebruikt maar verder alleen maar complimenten voor de keuken. Goed van smaak en heel mooi opgemaakt. Wel wat minpuntjes betreft de bediening (was netjes maar niet helemaal zoals het hoort) en we vonden het soort gerechten te "mooi" en prijzig voor deze ambiance waar te veel lampen brandden.

Heerlijk gegeten, ik raad de spare ribs aan. Het verbeterpunt is de papaya salade, wat ze nu serveren lijkt (en smaakt) totaal niet op een papaya salade.

Wat een smaaksensatie! Prachtige gerechten, mooie locatie en vriendelijk personeel. De kinderen kunnen heerlijk spelen in de tuin.

Bedankt dat we van en culinaire top-ervaring mochten genieten!! We hebben 2 dagen na mekaar kunnen proeven van wat het keukenteam aan creativiteit en vakmanschap in zijn mars had. Speciaal voor ons hebben ze de 2de dag een ander 4-gangenmenu gecreëerd. Wat en luxe voor de klanten. Van voorgerecht tot het nagerecht was elke gang een streling voor de smaakpapillen alsook voor het oog. Je merkte dat dit team hun talenten met de klant absoluut wil delen. Dit in combinatie met een ontzettend vriendelijke bediening en een warm onthaal maakte van beide avonden een fantastische belevenis. Indien we konden zouden we nog een extra ster voor dit restaurant toevoegen. Helaas zijn 5 oprechte sterren het maximum dat we kunnen schenken. Bedankt voor de inzet van zowel de bediening alsook het keukenpersoneel

Twee dagen na mekaar niet enkel kunnen, maar MOGEN genieten van de creativiteit en sublieme gerechten die op ons bord getoverd werden. De inzet om voor ons op dag 2 een nieuw menu te creëren getuigt van kennis, liefde voor het vak en klantvriendelijkheid. Dit gekoppeld aan een ontzettend vriendelijke bediening was voor ons 2 dagen na mekaar een feestelijke afsluiter van de dag. De inzet van iedereen was warm en lovenswaardig. Schitterend restaurant...men zegge het voort!!!

Altijd heerlijk eten bij de Witte Zwaan! Bijzondere gerechten, verrassend en perfect gaar. Ze weten je ook vanalles te vertellen over de lekkere wijnen en speciaal biertjes. Fijne, relaxte en gemoedelijke sfeer. Kleine opmerking, zet wat nieuwe dingen neer voor kinderen om op te spelen. Dan zullen er nog meer mensen een hapje komen eten!

Denk niet als je voor de deur staat ; is dit het? Loop naar binnen en loop door naar de tuin. Heel gezellig. Leuke kaart en lekker gegeten

Bijzonder sfeervolle zitgelegenheid in de tuin achter het etablissement. De menukaart is gevuld met fijne gerechten, meestal van verrassende samenstelling en altijd prima van smaak! Dit bovendien voor een schappelijke prijs!
