We had a somewhat quick bite with a large group. From the reservation to the payment, we were very satisfied with the service provided. It is impressive how the staff handles everything from memory; they are super friendly and have everything under control. Everyone enjoyed the food; we ordered a variety of dishes, so a compliment to the kitchen as well. At the end of the evening, we returned for a nightcap, and that was a success too. We would love to come back here sometime.

I was here with my work department and we were very well received. The charcuterie boards were extensive and delicious. Drinks were refilled quickly. Thank you very much for the good service!

We thoroughly enjoyed a lovely high wine on the terrace. We were under the impression that we would get a different snack with every wine, but that wasn't the case. However, what we did get was delicious. And the variety of the wine was amazing.

Good service and delicious food

It started very well with a tasty starter, but after that it got worse with each course. The fish and chips was quite dry. The crème brûlée was a kind of soup topped with a chewy sugar layer that stuck terribly to your teeth... Unfortunately, the acoustics and the chairs are suboptimal.

We had a delicious meal and drinks on a beautiful summer evening on the terrace overlooking the square. The location is fantastic and cozy! The menu is extensive, for both drinks and dinner. From classic bar snacks like bitterballen to bread with dips, and a dinner menu with something for everyone. You will find familiar dishes such as salads, carpaccio, chicken satay, and burgers. It is a bit pricey though, and the portions are too large; I find 10 bitterballen (or other snacks) for two people to be too much. Order 6 or 8 pieces, and you'll be more likely to order something else. The service deserves a compliment. Nice, friendly guys and girls who have the place well under control. Despite the crowds, everything ran smoothly and with a smile. All in all, a cozy spot where you can enjoy a great meal and a lovely evening on the terrace. Definitely recommended.

The food was good, and the service was friendly. There was a lot of smoke outside, but otherwise it was quite relaxing.

You don't need to queue up on the terrace for the wine. The volume of the rosé glass was just over 2 cm, so really ridiculously little. This can and must be better!

The quality of the food and drinks was relatively good. Unfortunately, the service let us down, as we had to wait half an hour before we could get a menu. Even after asking the staff for attention three times, we still received no response. Very disappointing!

Unfriendly staff! Never again! The food was cold. Staff hadn't showered, smelled very unpleasant.

We did an extensive beer and wine tasting and then had dinner. The beer tasting was good. A tasty charcuterie board was served with it. The food afterwards, however, was very disappointing. - The hamburger was overcooked. The bun was dry. - The fried eggplant lacked salt and flavor altogether. It also lacked an acidic element. - Two identical pastas had different portion sizes. - The asparagus soup was so thick that it was more of a thickened sauce and had no asparagus flavor. - The asparagus was overcooked and almost mushy. All in all, a disappointment after the nice tasting. So, certainly nice for wines and beers. But for food, real effort needs to be put in. These are therefore not isolated incidents, but structural errors in all the food.

I booked the High Wine and High Beer for a group of 10. It was really very good, tasty wine, tasty beer, and they took the non-alcoholic option into account very well. The accompanying sharing platters were top-notch, with a wide selection and generous portions. Super friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We had a high wine in the wine cellar at Ubica last Saturday. Very atmospheric place, delicious food, and good, friendly service! For people with dietary requirements, allergies, or those who are pregnant, a separate platter was prepared, and there was an alcohol-free mocktail instead of wine. Very well organized!

We enjoyed a lavish high wine dinner for six people. The wines were generally delicious. Not all were equally good, but that can be a matter of taste. The same goes for the accompanying appetizers. They weren't exceptionally great, but they were very tasty. The atmosphere and service were excellent. The staff were friendly. Tip: learn a little more about the wines (production process and flavors) so that your knowledge can be shared even more effectively. We had a wonderful evening!

I came in just as the kitchen was closed. Not only did the staff take time to check with the kitchen and then agreed to serve me, the halibut was excellent in taste and perfectly cooked. Very impressive and kind at the same time!

We had a wonderful group lunch with 13 people. Everything was thoroughly discussed beforehand, and they were very accommodating to allergies. The sandwiches and soup were well-prepared, and the service was very friendly.

Later that morning, the four of us enjoyed a delicious cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream on an autumn day.

The restaurant is simply not suitable for dining with a large group. Everything takes a very long time. Dishes are wrong and missing items. Halibut with baby potatoes was served without them. And they simply forgot my main course. As a result, after everyone had finished, I was eating alone. Not very pleasant. Due to the terrible acoustics, six of our group moved to a different room.

The food was great. The fresh iced tea on the drinks menu is highly recommended. The staff is also friendly and helpful, even waiting to hand out menus if the group isn't complete yet.

Experience itself wasn’t necessarily bad, but while asking to pay the bill for three beers, the guy behind the bar places a 41€ payment on the pin machine. I saw it and said straight away that we only had three beers. His colleague walked in right in that moment and confirmed so I assumed the correct price would be placed on the machine. Because of this assumption, I placed my phone cashless pay on the machine but ended up still paying 24,60€…. More than 8 euro for a beer.

Last minute we booked a high wine and that turned out to be a great choice! We really enjoyed it: nice wines, good snacks and it was also nice that some explanation was given about the different wines. We were very satisfied!

Snack platter with little food for €30????? Small snacks are also quite pricey. 5 meatballs for €10 and 5 chicken pieces also €10.

Very nice cafe in central Utrecht. We came here for a retirement party and everything was well organized. They got plenty of delicious snack platters, we had a cold cuts and fried snack platter which were both very good. They also have a big variety of alcoholic beverages, plenty of beers off the tap and a lot of cocktails, of which I had a great Negroni. Definitely check them out!

On a very beautiful day in mid-April we had a reservation in the wine cellar with a group of 15-20 people. The terrace outside was quite full due to the nice weather; yet we were able to receive a very personal service. We had drinks with delicious snacks and then had a delicious meal. Good communication in advance about the options and top service on the day itself. All very customer-oriented. This business is highly recommended!

Made a reservation by email for 12 people for a birthday. Not responded to. Called 3 times in 3 days, received no response. Staff on the phone are friendly, write down your number, but you never get a call back from the manager or whoever is in charge of it. In the end I went by, but you can renovate your own terrace, so I went somewhere else. A small apology can be given for not responding, but that's it... It's a shame that as a regular customer you have to go for lunch somewhere else like this.

We had a murder lunch at Ubica via Specialtours. We sat separately in the wine cellar. Nice location, nice cozy space. There is a steep staircase to the toilets and to the wine cellar. We had a delicious meal. The service was very friendly and good.

Great restaurant with tasty food. I didn't like the acoustics as much. I had the chef's menu where you can choose 3, 4 or 5 courses. It would have been useful to write that down somewhere, as when the third course was told, I lost the choice between one and two. But otherwise all praise

High tea reserved for 5 people. Table was set for 4. After half an hour I asked how and what. After 2 hours we finally had our high tea which didn't really look like a high tea... In the end we did get a discount, but we would have preferred to get what we reserved

They are very hospitable and think along with you, and everything can be done in consultation. So for anyone looking for a top location, definitely do it!
