Here you can order delicious food. I ordered again today, I had to wait a very long time for my ordered food, but in the end it was delivered promptly. There was a can of Redbull included, we thought it was an extra. the long wait for our food was super cool, right?! After they left, 5 minutes later someone came to the door again, this was a different delivery person, but he brought a bowl of lettuce that the previous delivery person had forgotten. If that good man hadn't come to the door I wouldn't have even noticed, but anyway the man was gone again and 10 minutes later the first delivery person or Naja a girl of 12 to 13 years old was at our door and asked for the can of Redbull back. Luckily it was still closed otherwise they probably would have come to the door with the pin. We had to laugh at how stingy they are, but in the meantime they came chasing after a bowl of lettuce because they had forgotten it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the worst part was sending the little girl to our door to ask for the can back😳 who delivers must have known that this is the height of stinginess 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I love their Kothu Roti and Idiyappam Kothu! However, I don't understand why this place is always empty whenever I visit; it is definitely a good one in this locality.

Picked up here on the recommendation of a colleague. We had a delicious meal. Portions are large enough, extremely tasty and well prepared. 'Spicy' is also really nice and spicy (for someone who regularly pours sriracha over food) The restaurant looks clean and nice. Staff friendly. We will definitely eat here more often (takeout)

The food was super tasty, freshly made and beautifully seasoned - so much better than many other more expensive and elegant restaurants.

Ordered delicious pasta and ate it very tasty was delivered hot and on time Shrimp Pasta and a Shrimp and Salmon Pasta Well worth it and definitely worth repeating

I can't understand why this place was empty on a Friday night. In the UK it would be pre booking only for somewhere of this standard. We had just arrived in Den Helder after a long, hard bike ride. We were dubious about going in because it was empty but decided to try it because we would have a long walk to anywhere else. What a good choice, we were given great advice on menu choices, the curries made to our preference for heat and they were delicious - fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked. One as a dry curry and one with sauce, very different flavours. And not expensive at all.

On Monday evening while looking for something to eat in Den Helder, we actually accidentally came across Vanni Eethuis. Although my wife and I regularly eat Thai food, Sri Lankan food had never crossed the Uvula before. Although the atmosphere in the restaurant does not really have a cozy atmosphere, the owner did this! We were advised which dishes we could try, number 3 and 12 with spicy sweet chicken wings, a delicious curry, a real treat and definitely worth repeating! So if you like Asian cuisine, you shouldn't miss this one.

Just a very good meal, it was very tasty. The Ceylon Special Lamb and the Fried Rice Beef were also very good. Desserts and drinks not special but sufficient.

Had an amazing lunch! Tried Veg Kothu Idiyappam (Rated 3.5/5) and Veg Kothu Loose Roti (Rated 4/5). Also enjoyed 4 soft and tasty Loose Rotis (Rated 5/5) with a top-notch Mixed Vegetable Curry (Rated 5/5). They adjusted the spiciness and flavors just the way we wanted, making the dishes delicious and quantity was really adequate. The hospitality was top-notch; the friendly staff served everything promptly. Notably, despite Google saying they were closed, the restaurant was open from 9 am to 9 pm. Veg lovers won't be disappointed, and we're excited to try non-veg items on our next visit. Great lunch experience! Bon appétit!

Heerlijk gegeten. De roti met groente en curry en kotu roti. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Hele vriendelijke medewerker met goed advies omtrent de gerechten en pittigheid.

Heerlijk gegeten en hele verse bereiding van de Vanni 65 special. Niet te pittig en heerlijk cocos drankje erbij. Porties waren groot dus we gaan met een volle maag naar huis. Wij komen zeker terug.

Mooi ingericht restaurant, netjes en schoon. Veel verschillende gerechten en ook keus uit diverse bijgerechten. Grote porties. Op tijd klaar bij het afhalen. Keuze uit: niet pittig, beetje pittig, pittig en heel pittig. Vegetarische curry was super! Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Vriendelijke bediening. Eten van goede kwaliteit en fris.

We kwamen toevallig langs dit restaurant en na het bekijken van de menukaart aan de gevel zijn we naar binnen gegaan. We waren de enige gasten op zaterdagavond, maar er kwamen wel mensen bestellingen ophalen. We hadden nog niet eerder Sri Lankaans gegeten en de medewerker heeft ons goed advies gegeven over de gerechten. Alles wordt vers bereid en aangepast naar eigen smaak, zoet, pittig of zeer pittig. We hebben heerlijk gegeten voor een keurige prijs. Het restaurant is ook erg netjes. Ik miste alleen zeep bij het toilet. We komen hier zeker nog een keer terug om andere gerechtenuit te proberen.

We wanted to enjoy Sri Lankan food on the way back from Texel island and we went to Vanni Eethuis. We had a warm welcome and we could order everything in Tamil. Foods are halal here as well. We enjoyed Kotthu and felt very authentic Sri Lankan. Will visit here again.

Als liefhebber van lekker eten en goede service kan ik het restaurant van harte aanbevelen! Het eten is absoluut heerlijk en de bediening is snel en vriendelijk. Ik heb zelden zo'n goede ervaring gehad in een restaurant. Maar wat het echt bijzonder maakt, is de warme en gastvrije sfeer die er heerst. Als iemand van Sri Lanka voel ik me bijna thuis in dit restaurant. De smaken en geuren van de gerechten brengen me terug naar mijn geboorteland en dat maakt de ervaring nog specialer. Ik kan het restaurant dan ook van harte aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een geweldige eetervaring en een warm welkom. Een dikke pluim voor het hele team!

The food here is of very good quality. Tried three different kinds of dishes (lamb, chicken and shrimp) over three visits and each time the meals that were served were great. With regards to the spicy taste I went with a medium and it was just right to my liking. I visited the restaurant during the early evening hours and it was no wait as well, I am sure they could get quite busy preparing food in the high time hours.

Snel bezorgd. Vriendelijke bezorger. Het eten was uitstekend! Heerlijke Roti kip en Kip Curry. Het eten was ook écht pittig zoals gevraagd bij de bestelling.

4 euro voor een afschuwelijke nep milkshake. Was letterlijk houdbare melk vermengd met ranja! Rest eten was wel lekker maar voor bijna 40€ voor 2 personen 2 kleine bakjes curry. de vani 65 special in een mini bakje en 4 roti vellen vind ik zwaar overdreven qua prijs. Beetje te veel gaar keuken idee!

Super lecker und sehr freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen. Vor allem das Linsen Curry 🍛. Es war so lecker, dass wir direkt am nächsten Tag nochmals dort gegessen haben.

Heerlijk eten! Duurt even voor het klaar is, maar dan heb je ook wat. Allemaal vers. Aardige bediening. Ze hadden het erg druk, waarschijnlijk met afhaal of bestellingen. Niet alles kon besteld worden, want de voorbereiding zou erg lang duren...

Great food! i always come here with my boyfriend to order biryani! if you eat in the retaurant they make sure you have a good time and sometimes they let you taste things! Several things on the menu. Always delicious food so far. You really taste the foreign culture. Delicious flavors. Can’t wait to order more😍

Lekker gegeten. Voor een klein prijsje. Van elkaar geproefd. Ik waande me weer even in India door de heerlijke curry's. Een deel van de winst wordt over gemaakt naar weeskinderen in Sri Lanka. Extra reden om daar nog eens terug te gaan.

De pasta smaakte erg lekker. Was ook redelijk pittig. Ik had garnalen gekozen. Saus weet ik niet meer. Ik geloof knoflook roomsaus ofzo. Het bakje was goed gevuld, zodoende was ik na afloop behoorlijk vol. De bezorging was ook snel en ruim op tijd. Veel eerder dan op de thuisbezorg app stond aangegeven. Hier een keer bestellen is een aanrader.

You have to try this place! Wow! So delicious! I had an amazing chicken curry. The prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. The staff was very friendly, too, and very helpful in assisting me in selecting the right meal for my tastebuds. My favorite restaurant experience I had traveling through the Netherlands.
