Verhage in Waterland

Dirty, filthy everywhere, outside on the terrace, floor inside, tables inside sticky on all sides... unchecked establishment. Staff is rubbing each other's hair on arrival, order is incorrect when picking up. Apparently no idea what a large fries special with ketchup is. You get regular fries with curry... Not recommended to pick up or order food here. Hygiene is lurking here to catch something..!!

Good food and staff always friendly. Sometimes a short wait due to crowds.

What a dirty place. Garbage everywhere. It starts outside on their terrace, when you step inside you see bulky garbage and discarded parts everywhere. They have a children's play area that hasn't been looked after in years. I'm ashamed that there are still places like this in the Netherlands. The smell of the sewer in combination with the dirty oil and the mess everywhere will never make me come back here. Verhage, this is not on.! Management, do something about it.!

Good snacks and fries better than Bram

I don't know who's in charge, but they should be ashamed. It has become a very unsanitary affair. The dirt is on the floor, coats are on the counter, gloves are not used, and tables are not cleaned. This mediocre standard is tolerated and adopted by staff. Time for action or for it to go bankrupt. The verhagen in North is better

Helped by a very nice lady and served by an attentive lady, well presented, quality and portion size very good. The store is nicely laid out with a Lego department for the children. In short, you can stay there with peace of mind.

In the beginning, it was a nice/clean place, but it has now been dirty for a long time, a lot of dirt and food remains behind and in front of the counter! Uninterested staff, delivery people who come behind the counter and ruffle their hair along the counters where your food is prepared, both visible cash register screens visibly wiped with a dirty cloth. Untidy, dirty, no gloves and apparently dirty dish cloths(?) doesn't look hygienic! Food is good, but don't think about the environment/preparation. At the ice cream, you receive little or no help, despite there being enough staff present, chatting at the back of the shop. Too bad, wiping a few times and using clean barrel wipes, among other things, should not be that difficult.

Ordered 2 double cheese burgers with extra cheese, meat was undercooked. Also ordered 1 double cheese burger with bacon, meat was also undercooked and had no cheese.

Been several times, but it just doesn't matter what time you come. The place is always dirty inside, and staff smoke at the entrance. All the smoke comes right in, while you are eating in the smoke with your children. Fries are okay, but could be baked a little longer.

Been a regular customer for years. This time a pick-up order. However, no sweet and sour sauce at home, for which I paid 1.10. And for the first time the family box of fries was only 3/4 full. I assume it is an incident but certainly a disappointment. Verhage please stay the course!

Just ordered fries and stew twice. You get incredibly small portions with this dish. You get a layer of fries with quite a bit of stew. You can take an example from the branch in Hellevoetsluis😉

A very disappointing experience today. The counter order was served in the restaurant even though it was clearly indicated that it was for home use. New fries and salad were quickly made. The snacks were cooled in the boxes and were cold upon arrival at home. To make matters worse, the ordered sauces (mayo, pina sauce) were not included. In short, waited extra long for a cold incomplete order. A real shame !!

The order was taken by a girl who spoke very softly and was almost unintelligible. Food was fine, but when we left we couldn't say "goodbye" and before we were out the door the table was almost cleared. They seemed to be busier cleaning up the place than the guests.

We initially came to get something to drink after an evening of playing pool, thinking that we might not be able to eat something a few minutes before closing time, or let alone eat something inside. Nothing could be further from the truth. The sweet woman behind the counter was shocked by us because she wasn't expecting anyone shortly before closing time. We were able to eat and drink in peace at our leisure. I often eat outside and often experience that shortly before closing time I cannot order food, only something to drink and I really appreciate the fact that I can now even eat inside.

Nice location for lunch! Delicious food, lots of choice of luxury sandwiches, menus, luxury milkshakes, coffee or tea, etc. The restaurant has enough space and is nicely decorated for lunch with company in the afternoon.

Great place for a quick bite. Products are of excellent quality. Tip to check large orders first before you leave. Things go wrong regularly (but are always resolved neatly afterwards). A soft ice cream with a dip? If you have a nut allergy I would be extra careful.

Not to eat. Food is buried under the sauce. Onions are fried completely black. Minced meat was burnt. In short, just a waste of money. Never again for us.

All good, but i didn't expect the cost to be high for fast food.

Unfortunately very dissatisfied. We came for an ice cream. There was an employee behind the cash register and the rest were behind the glass having a drink and giggling. We were looked at several times sheepishly, but no one came to help even though we had asked for help several times. The line just got longer behind us. Finally a girl came along who clearly didn't feel like it. Behind the counter there was also a mess full of receipts and food scraps. I won't come here again, next time I'll go to the branch in Plateau where you will be helped in a clean place.

Pleasant staff, good food and the customer comes first

Staff is extremely polite and friendly. Especially towards the little children. Atmosphere is cozy and looks modern. When staff clear the empty tables, they take the time to ask you if everything is to your liking. It may happen that your order is not complete, but this is usually due to the crowds. If you mention it, they will apologize politely and it will be arranged immediately.

Good food for a reasonable price

Today, Friday, January 6, 2023, 5:30 PM, I got a family box of fries and snacks at Verhage Spijkenisse waterland. I hadn't been there for a long time and was looking forward to the delicious fries they used to have. Unfortunately, the fries were very greasy and barely filled (Holl fries). After 10 minutes of eating the fries I was already sitting on the toilet with a friendly stomach cramp. Pity !

Went to Verhage for a change to eat in Butterfly Peat. We had hollow fries. It's really been too long. Burger looked good. Don't do this a second time.

Peanut fries... Hard, overcooked fries... if you remove them from your frying fat, throw them away! Verhage Dame will simply pack this for you. Shame.

Previously been to Verhage Vlinderveen Spijkenisse many times and was always satisfied. So I got food there again, but with regret afterwards. In any case, the work is not done hygienically. but also the food was not what it was before. Hamburger not at the right temperature and dry with just a drop of sauce and a lame lettuce leaf, nothing else. Frikandel special was good but also cold. Croquette cold and floury. Breaks into pieces when picked up and contains no ragout at all. Looks more like flour and only contained one small cube of "meat?". We don't go there anymore. Try another branch next time. See what it's like there.

Nice shop, delicious croquettes, nice atmosphere. Delicious ice cream. Bench inside for waiting. You can also sit outside. Other shops such as Jumbo, Sjakie, flower shop, Primera, etc. on the square. Fishmonger on Saturdays, plenty of parking spaces.

Even though I arrived quite late, I was helped very politely and quickly! I have been coming there since the beginning and their tireless efforts just keep going, hats off to them and the food is what you would expect from Verhagen to be delicious.

The last time I came here it looked dirty, behind the counter you could eat off the floor: there was plenty. Gave a bad impression. Cleaned with a dirty dishcloth. I think the screens that you as a client look at when ordering were touched with the same dirty cloth, clean was different. Unfortunately, the staff also looked less clean and well-groomed; T-shirts with stains. Verhagen has been in our shopping center for decades, but the quality has deteriorated. Shame!

Nothing to complain about. Lovely employees, good food (very good burgers), cool atmosphere and nice and central. Has a terrace, is located on a busy road, has delicious ice cream and friendly owners. There is even a play area for children.

Had dinner at Verhage Vlinderveen Spijkenisse during the weekend. The food was good and the staff were friendly and attentive. A few general comments that were not in order. The outside terrace was messy (lots of litter) and overgrown with weeds. Not attractive to sit down. And this is not recent. When visiting the men's room, the door handle was stuck with a large screw. That didn't look right. The door of the men's toilet could not be locked from the inside and the toilet did not look clean and fresh. I thought that was a shame because it has seen better days.

Great experience! They had forgotten an item and due to the hectic pace, payment had been forgotten. We called to sort this all out and drove back to pay after we had eaten. Here we received the forgotten item and free ice cream for the entire table! Really great! Something can always be forgotten, but how it was handled was really great! :)

Delicious, a cold cheeseburger with a slice of cheese that is still in the same condition as when it came out of the refrigerator. Something that can be so simple, yet so failing. Shame.
