Personale fin da subito molto accogliente e gentile. Molta possibilità di scelta, anche per i Celiaci (pizza e pasta senza glutine). Cibo molto buono, uguale a quello italiano!!! Servizio molto veloce a attento.

Muy rápido y amable sirve, pero la comida era completamente promedio, los dos tuvimos pizzas Margherita y aunque eran agradables, no volvería de nuevo. Las bebidas eran pequeñas en comparación con el precio, así que fue decepcionante.

Es una pizzería, con variedad de cervezas y buen ambiente. La pizza es estilo napolitana pero con bastante borde y menos espacio para ingredientes; la masa está buena, sabrosa pero poca cantidad de ingredientes. No de mis favoritas.

In search of something edible we ended up in this mass-produced Italian restaurant. Very loud, very hectic and you can't eat in peace. The Tonno pizza was good, the pasta with salmon was an overpriced disaster.

Located in one of the central squares of Rotterdam, welcoming environment, very kind and super fast staff despite the many tables present. Very good and light Italian pizza, but there are also first courses d.o.c. equally tasty. Try it and believe it!

Big, busy place with an okay vibe. Service was consistently good, friendly staff all around. The pasta, though, was a letdown. It was bland and not very exciting. Decent overall, but the food didn’t quite deliver.

Nice Italian restaurant in the heart of Rotterdam. It focuses more on quantity. The tagliatelle and penne were still reasonable for the price. The coffee and dessert were very good and of the highest quality. The service was very friendly, courteous, and always attentive.

Delicious food at Very Italian Pizza! The thin pizzas tasted great and the service was fast and friendly. A bit noisy inside and the toilets are on the small side for such a large business. All in all, definitely recommended for a tasty, informal pizza evening.

Excellent Italian restaurant (the next best thing, after ANY restaurant in Southern Italy, notably on the Sorrento coast… you cannot compete with that, don't even try… ) Real wood-oven, generously sized pizzas, prepared fresh… In Holland, most restaurants close at 22h00. Fortunately, this one was one of the rare ones which was still open, when we arrived in Rotterdam, in the evening (on the circuit Amsterdam-Keukenhof-The Hague-Rotterdam-Amsterdam, which we did in just one day…) Rotterdam is a very modern, big city. An "American style" city… The pictures I am hereby posting show the very large square, surrounded by huge buildings, at the corner of which this excellent restaurant is situated. (The huge neon heart that you see, is just on the façade of the ground floor/reception hall of a very large and very tall, at least 25-floors high, new and modern building).

Excelente restaurante italiano (lo siguiente mejor, después de CUALQUIER restaurante en el sur de Italia, en particular en la costa de Sorrento... no se puede competir con eso, ni siquiera lo intente... ) Leña real - horno, pizzas de tamaño generoso, preparado fresco... En Holanda, la mayoría de los restaurantes cierran a las 22 h 00 . Afortunadamente, este era uno de los raros que seguía abierto, cuando llegamos a Rotterdam, por la noche (en el circuito Amsterdam - Keukenhof - La Haya - Rotterdam - Amsterdam, que hicimos en solo un día... ) Rotterdam es una ciudad muy moderna y grande. Una ciudad de "estilo americano"... Las fotos que estoy publicando muestran la gran plaza, rodeada de enormes edificios, en cuya esquina se encuentra este excelente restaurante. (El enorme corazón de neón que se ve, está justo en la fachada de la planta baja / sala de recepción de un edificio muy grande y muy alto, de al menos 25 pisos de altura, nuevo y moderno).

Come here and look at the price of the pizzas, they are generous, we have a normal crust width, we are served very quickly and we can remove and add things to our pizzas if we want. Very nice place if you want a bite to eat nearby. There is a cheerful atmosphere inside and the food is delicious. Pizza can hardly go wrong. Choice of tasty pizzas and some drinks. Definitely come by again for a tasty snack. Plus, it has a pretty nice location, next to the metro. So it's straight in and straight out, absolutely great.

At first the service was good, but then they forgot our food and all the tables that came after us were eating but us. They took 1h to bring us the pizza and pasta and nobody apologised, nor they came to help us while we were waiting even if we were trying to make eye contact. Afterwards they all had this weird attitude towards us instead of making up for their mistake when we didn't even complain.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was very friendly and attentive. Ciao

De VIP: Our favorite place for celebrations and pizza for over 12 years! If it were up to our kids, we would eat at De VIP every week – and honestly, we completely understand… and practically do so! For more than 12 years, this has been our go-to spot for delicious, authentic Italian pizzas and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The always friendly staff, with Stefano, Rocco, and their amazing team, make every visit feel like a little celebration. Our children have practically grown up here since they were born, so we can confidently say we know this place inside and out! At De VIP, everything revolves around Italian hospitality, which means our kids are always the center of attention. Very bad staff and rude I was there with my family and they told us they get irritated from my freind kid and they were so slow in getting our orders, don’t recommend this place if u are with family, price are over rated, and I asked them to charge my mobile although I have a charger but they asked for 3 euro extra charge

We have been coming here for years and in our opinion it is the best pizzeria in Rotterdam. It's a huge place, so don't expect a small, cozy atmosphere. The service is always friendly and quick and we never had to wait long for drinks, pizzas, etc. (despite sometimes being very busy). The pizzas have a crispy thin base, good texture and are tasty. There is a choice of 3 pizza bases including whole wheat (which my wife always takes). In short, in our opinion, highly recommended! Parking is easy (but expensive, as in all of Rotterdam) under the market hall.

As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by friendly service that immediately gave me a pleasant feeling. The staff was extremely attentive and always tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I was particularly impressed by the quick service. Despite the high number of guests in the evening, which speaks for the popularity of the restaurant, we never had to wait long for our orders. This not only demonstrated the team's efficiency, but also their commitment to making every guest happy. The food itself was simply outstanding! The menu offered a variety of options. Every bite was a delight, and the fresh ingredients tasted heavenly. For all the food and first-class service on offer, the price-performance ratio is more than reasonable. You really get a lot for your money here, which is not something that can be taken for granted everywhere these days. In summary, I can only recommend this restaurant. Whether for a special occasion or a relaxed dinner - you definitely won't be disappointed here. A visit is definitely worth it!

La comida era horrible pedimos pasta y pizza la pizza estaba oke era mitad mis 2 amigos la comieron y después ambos tenían dolor de estómago la pasta era tan mala que no podía comerla no tenía sabor en absoluto me dio náuseas no vale la pena su dinero! El servicio era bueno y la comida llegó muy rápido.

Nice Italian place with good food and very attentive service. You can order online or via menu, and also customize your pasta for kids if needed. E.g. on my picture you can see spaghetti with chicken which we asked to customize for one of the kids - to make it simple pasta + chicken with no sause.

Highly recommend this place, reasonable place and convinced location next to the markthal. On the special day, the pizza was served in heart shape and it’s so lovely. Both pizza and pasta tasted delicious and will definitely go there again.

Terrible service! 0/10 I ordered delivery at 5:45 PM, but it was delivered only at 8:45 PM! By the time it arrived, our guests had already left. Customer support didn’t respond, and no one picked up the phone either. The pasta and pizza were completely cold, and the pizza wasn’t even sliced—I’ve never seen anything like this before. And for this price? Absolutely not worth it! This was my worst experience in Rotterdam. I do not recommend it to anyone!

Muy pobre. Los sofás están cansados y necesitan ser reemplazados por material roto. Personal, en su mayoría Estudiantes, miren miserables. Bruschetta se hizo en 2 minutos - tostadas con tomates picados - Yo mismo podría hacer un mejor trabajo en el mismo tiempo y la pasta estaba llena de crema grasa. La selección de vinos es casi como comprar vinagre aburrido. Las ventajas - la bienvenida cuando entré y una sonrisa de una camarera. Un lugar como este merece quebrarse.

Very large restaurant with a very quick kitchen. There is a large variety of pizzas, my pizza funghi was a bit tasteless. But overall good service.

I think the food there is great, I ate a pizza myself and really liked it. I only have an issue with the dessert. I ordered tiramisu with a group I was with and it was frozen on the inside. I thought it was soft and all, so I took a huge bite and felt something hard and cold in my mouth. Of course I still ate it because I don't like wasting food, but it wasn't as nice as I expected.

Delicious pizza and good service

This is about as close to authentic as it comes. Service was spectacular, yet not overbearing! Great wine selection and lovely carpaccio and diavola pizza. Light dough, fresh ingredients, and certainly worth a visit. Two pizzas, two glasses of wine, a cocktail, and tip came out to €60. Try it out!

Authentic Italian restaurant in the center of Rotterdam. We went because it was one of the few establishments we found open and we really liked it. Very good quality of the product and a very correct price. The service was very attentive at all times. If we return to the city we will repeat for sure. 10/10

The location is easily accessible, as it is next to Blaak station. For €25 per person you can have a delicious bottle of wine and a pizza. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is good both outside and inside. Without a reservation, but I was able to get a spot when it was busy.

Very good, welcoming, What can I say, seeing is believing

The restaurant is very large and comfortably furnished, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. It is located in a very busy area and is accordingly well attended. The reception when entering the restaurant was excellent - I was greeted warmly and immediately shown to a table, even without a prior reservation. In my opinion, the prices are sometimes a bit high, especially for pasta dishes. I had the truffle chicken with tagliatelle which is shown in the pictures. The pieces of meat were well portioned, but I was disappointed with the salmon tagliatelle. The salmon was barely there, just a few small pieces in the sauce. I didn't think the price was justified. The taste of the food was okay, but I had to adjust the seasoning myself to suit my taste. (salt and pepper) What is positive is that there are different types of pasta to choose from when it comes to pasta dishes. You can choose between whole wheat pasta, regular pasta or even gluten-free versions, which is really great. You could also choose the type of flour for the pizzas yourself - I thought that was really great and a big plus! Despite this flexibility in choice, I probably won't visit the restaurant again because of the pasta dishes. Maybe next time I'll try the pizza, it might be more convincing. Too bad the overall experience was mixed.

The tomato soup is very good, but the pizza is just crap. Without order, composition and taste. It wasn't even next to the Italian pizza. The decor is great, and the service is nice and organized. Maybe they have better pasta 🫣 Price ok.

Finding a real stink abroad is always an event

This is THE place to go when we want to eat delicious Italian food. Delicious pizzas and pastas. The restaurant is quite spacious and there is always room during the week. There is also an area outside where you can sit. Generally not too complicated and therefore also affordable. No fancy stuff. Favorites are the Quattro Formaggio and Diavola pizzas (whole wheat!). Take-away is also possible here!
