Delicious food and attentive service.

They've come up with something new again... now you have to pay €0.20 for a container when you order takeout. Absurd, how else are you supposed to take it home? Ugh, and the food is a real disappointment. That was the last time.

Note! When you pick up your food, you'll have to pay extra for the containers. It's ridiculous; they're already expensive enough. Don't forget your plastic bag either.

Now for the third time to pick up food since the new owner has been in. Three times disappointed. And thought next time better because it can happen. Quality of the food has deteriorated considerably. Dishes forgotten or wrong items received. Spring roll was cold and completely limp saturated with oil. Very unfortunate but next time I would rather drive 20 minutes to go to a good Chinese. Waste of money to pick up food here. And the high stars in the reviews still come from the old owner.

Very tasty and the best takeaway and Chinese restaurant in Purmerend

Ate here last November and it was really great! That's why I recently decided to go back, but that was very disappointing. It turns out that the place now has a new owner. Unfortunately, the food was not what it used to be: less tasty and the quality seemed to have deteriorated. What I find particularly bad is that the new owner simply continues with the positive reviews of the previous owner. That feels misleading, you expect the same level, but get something completely different. Too bad!

The stars tell the story. You will be spoiled here. Reservations recommended.

Today, May 5, we had a delicious meal at Victoria Garden, we were with friends, Lien Kuik had been several times, I had Peking duck, it was delicious and the strawberry in fire dessert was a treat. See you soon Gerard

For the first time, due to circumstances, only now since the new owner has moved in, I got food. I think the quality has deteriorated significantly. Bami pangang was limp...not crispy and very greasy. Even the prawn crackers were a bit overcooked. But order from others. Very unfortunate, it was always great.

This Chinese has changed owners Immediately noticeable I drove back to my old Chinese, I would rather drive 15 minutes than spend 85 euros on...... For years I have been changing the dish from the monthly menu to foe yong hai because I don't eat babi pangang I was amazed When I asked if that was possible with the combination menu, it was not possible They didn't do that anymore When I asked new owner And so no more service It's bad that you then continue on Google with the reviews from the previous owner So that's why 1 star And lost a regular customer

I was eating the babi Pangang at home and I immediately noticed a difference compared to the other times, it was less roasted and also tougher, so I did a quick google search and I read that they have changed owners and cooks, so that explains the slightly inferior babi Pangang, a shame but then I will go back to my old Chinese in town.

Oh how bad the restaurant has changed owners as of February 21st, the cook is also gone. They no longer have my favorite dish either. What a shame now that I don't have to go here specifically anymore.

Food was cold. After waiting an hour and a half and making a big mouth, my order finally arrived. I feel like they haven't mastered it. It was very chaotic.

Just had a delicious meal at Victoria's Garden again, this time with almost the entire family. And as always it was a great experience! The dishes were absolutely top authentic, full of flavor and truly Chinese. We enjoy the delicious food here every time. The employees also deserve praise: super professional, friendly and hospitable. And a special compliment to the beautiful, sweet young lady who served us. She did her job excellently and was radiant! We've been coming here before, and it's always been great. An absolute must for lovers of authentic Chinese food!

Opnieuw zo super lekker gegeten en de aandacht en liefde voor het eten proef je bij elk gerecht. Extra pluim voor de dame die pas 1 week en 1 dag in het restaurant werkt, zo attent en vriendelijk alsof ze al jaren in de bediening zit. Onwijs leuk dat er voor mijn man gezongen werd i.v.m. zijn verjaardag. Kortom heerlijke avond gehad.

After several disappointments at other Chinese restaurants, Victoria Restaurant was a total surprise for us. Good price and very good quality. Lots of variety in vegetables. Delicious in taste. Neat and fast pick-up option. Friendly service. Many guests in restaurant.

The service was great, but the food doesn't belong to any cuisine in the world, and it's definitely not Chinese or Cantonese food.

Je zou het iet verwachten op die locatie, maar Victoria Garden is een heerlijk restaurant. Niet wat we te vaak zien bij Chinees Indisch, maar authentieke smaken. De bediening is gastvrij. De nagerechten zijn wat eenvoudig, dus als je voor twee gangen gaat, is voor- en hoofdgerecht in dit geval misschien een betere keuze.

The food is quite good, but they are a bit on the stingy side. They prefer to pass on all costs to the customer and even as a regular customer you do not have to expect anything extra. Used to be great, but now taken away 3 times and now it's tasteless, greasy. Dry egg fried in a high ring shape. Menus were always of the same quality in terms of taste. No or few flavor enhancers. This allows us to sleep normally instead of getting palpitations at night. Always thought it was fantastic, but I think the kitchen staff have been replaced and the restaurant may have changed owners? No more noodles on the menu, my favorite dish. Can't get it...? Picked it up again 3 times and once we were sick to death of it. We will no longer be collecting. Always such a good Chinese, too bad. We don't praise it at all anymore.

This is such an awesome Chinese Restaurant. The atmosphere is great. We like the big windows allowing lots of light, the high ceiling that makes the acoustics different, so even when it is very busy, the sound levels are not so bad. It is very clean. There are so much choices in the menu. Also enough vegetarian options. The food quality is outstanding. And the service is great. A well deserved 5 star. Menekşe and René.
