Small café. Since I'm from Austria, I wanted to try it out. It wasn't entirely fair, I must admit. The coffee was very good. You should expand your menu: I would suggest the typical "Wiener Melange" and a chocolate cake (something like a "Sachertorte"). Maybe a "Wiener Eiskaffe" and a "Biscuitroulade." Hospitality in the Netherlands is becoming expensive, but this little restaurant in the middle of The Hague makes you feel like you're in Paris (or Vienna) and is definitely worth a visit.

Truly the best café of the city! Vienna Konditorei has been my favorite spot in the city since I moved to The Hague nine years ago. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, always making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. It’s the perfect place to pause and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. Stopping by here has become a Sunday tradition that I look forward to every week.

Great ambiance, I mean who wouldn’t want to sit at the spot where Dutch history was made (google it). Vienna has great coffee and food options, cake is particularly good. Many different spots to sit in or out of the sun.

Perfect location and kind staff

Nice to sit with a beer and talk to a friend, but the food is mediocre and overpriced, although it looks nice. The service is very slow and it feels like you are in the way. Orange juice doesn't taste fresh at all and the smoothie is a pre-packed one from the supermarket, just beautifully presented. It's also very messy inside.

This cafe is an absolute delight—perfect for anyone who loves great coffee and a beautiful, sunlit atmosphere. The view is so beautiful , making it the ideal spot to relax or catch up with friends. The coffee was rich and flavorful, clearly made with care. I could sit here for hours, soaking up the sunshine and good vibes. Highly recommended!

Service and location are great. Food is so terrible and expensive. We got the chicken sandwich and the meat was dry. The banana bread was flavorless and the avocado toast had salad on it and hard boiled egg. Worse than airplane food

The location is very central and accessible. They also get really good sun during the summer. The coffee is very good and you can tell it was made with care and love. Highly recommend for a drink, good service and sun!

Early morning and place is very near where we were staying. Flying home today. Needed an early &good meal before our long journey home to other side of earth 😅😅 Met the very friendly gentleman 🤩who shows so much warmth. The location is beautiful in the center of The Hague. But how terribly expensive, 5 euros for a simple beer, and then the beer selection is seriously limited with Heineken for which you pay 5 euros!

Got off the train and stumbled across this sunny cafe. We ordered two iced vanilla lattes for take away (this order has been hard to fill in much of the Netherlands) Luckily, they had vanilla syrup and ice and were happy to accommodate our request. They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with our drinks, which were delicious! Can’t wait to return.

The sun is amazing here and a glass of water is the only thing I can recommend here. Coffee is at best average but the food was awful. Too bad for such a location (with a price attached) to offer such terrible tosti. Never again for me until smth changes dramatically.

We sat slightly out of sight at the back of the terrace, so it took a long time to take our order. Then the Iced Coffee frappé on the menu wasn't even available yet. Alcoholic drinks were nowhere to be found on the menu even though we saw that they were served. Also relatively high prices by general standards. Would give 3.5 stars.

Lovely location in the sun, but moderate price-quality ratio. Sandwiches are minimally filled and you pay a lot for an extra glass of tap water with your coffee...a pity!

Had to wait a very long time for food. After 45 minutes we finally got our food. Portions are extremely small. We had to eat somewhere else after this. As a tourist I don't recommend this. Way too expensive...

Great location with a nice view and a cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service didn’t live up to expectations. It took at least 20 minutes for someone to take our order and another 20 minutes to receive it. That wait time might have been understandable for a more complex meal, but all we ordered was toast with butter and aioli, along with two glasses of wine.

Until mid-2016, this was my mother's regular terrace for drinking coffee and eating pastries. I sometimes order a cup of cappuccino here out of nostalgic feelings. Tourists think that you pay here for the view of the Binnenhof. But from the 'Place' you can also see the Hofvijver, the Gevangenpoort and 'het Groene Zoodje'. I then think: 'Go sit somewhere else!'🤨 Great place and cozy.

The service was very lame. I was waiting for the menu, than for my order, so coffee was cold while I got a sandwich. The sandwich was good and tasty, but the pastry is super cheap and tasted with fats

Despite the tourist location, it offers good quality food at reasonable prices (considering the average for the area), all in a very nice environment with very friendly staff.

Best Mocha I've had since arriving in Netherlands!!! Also best service I've experienced. Despite there being no Mocha on the menu, the waiter & barrister kindly obliged to make me one. And it was exceptional.

We were here to take a break from sightseeing. We were served quickly and the service staff were very friendly! We'd love to come back when we're in The Hague! When the weather is good, it's nice to sit in the sun and enjoy the weather

Waited 20 minutes. Nobody came to serve. I went in and pointed out that we wanted to order. He said yes he was coming. Did not come. Other guests also left. Around 50 tables per service, that doesn't work. Shortage of staff!

There are definitely better cafes in The Hague. The apple pie tasted thawed and soggy. In any case, he was far from a pastry shop. The ambience was so-so and the service seemed a bit overwhelmed, even though the café wasn't particularly busy.

€5.50 for 'Bread and Butter' aka 2 slices of toasted bread with margarine.. Rip off at its finest 👍🏻 Atmosphere was good tho 🌞

Very nice and helpful staff but the place is a bit cold and the dishes are very small portions. Probably it’s better to go for breakfast, we wanted to have late lunch and it was fine but very small portions.

The Dutch have very low expectations, and you can feel it in your restaurant. I missed my wedding and the birth of my son while someone brought me my coffee. His name is Dominique and he never knew his father. My life is now made up of regret, all over coffee. I preferred to starve to finish my toast.

There was an immature traumatised little girl working there who kept talking to her friend (didn't seem like a colleague) about immature boys, comparing the vibe of men, to top it off talking about how to use men to get them to buy things for you. All this while I just wanted a simple quiet coffee

I had the pleasure of visiting Vienna Konditorei recently, and it's a true hidden gem that deserves recognition. The menu boasts authentic Austrian cuisine, and I can vouch for the op la, sandwiches, and salads – they are simply delicious. The cappuccino? Exceptional. The location is convenient, and the staff is warm and welcoming. With reasonable prices and a serene atmosphere, Vienna Konditorei. I will for sure be back!!!

Il giorno in cui siamo stati con la nostra famiglia è stato anche sensazionale godere della positiva serietà, allegria, cordialità e professionalità della cameriera, che riempie di luce davvero il locale! Complimenti a questa giovane donna che lavora benissimo e sa anche trattare benissimo i clienti! Fa tutta la differenza!

We were in Den Haag for a few hours and looked around for somewhere to have lunch. We liked the look of Vienna Konditorei with it’s lovely shady outdoor seating area. It was very popular but we soon found a seat and ordered salads. The staff were all friendly and happy to help. The salads were generous in size and delicious. The Bossche Bol on the dessert menu caught our eye; the waiter explained that it was a very light creamy dessert. It was like a giant chocolate covered profiterole filled with Chantilly cream -delicious! We didn’t know anything about the Vienna Konditorei prior to our lunch but I would highly recommend it.

They advertise with Almdudler deckchairs and are called Vienna café, but do not sell Almdudler. A real pity!

Leckerer Käsetoast, guter Kaffee und nette Bedienung. Alles mit Blick auf den Binnenhof. Dazu noch normale Preise für Den Haag. Empfehlenswert!
