We had delicious meals here. The wine advice with the dishes was excellent and was explained extensively at the table. A perfect combination of flavours! Very friendly staff and cosy atmosphere and interior. A must for fish lovers!

What I find so unfortunate is that the quality is getting worse! I had ordered a sole and also paid the price for it. Unfortunately it came from the freezer. It was not fresh and for a sole much too small! Paid too much and got too little ... too bad. It didn't taste either. Told the waitress and like in so many restaurants these days, nothing is done here anymore. We used to come here regularly but that is no longer the case ... I want quality for my money!

Extremely disappointing service – ruined our Mother’s Day lunch I came with my daughter to celebrate Mother’s Day and was truly looking forward to a nice lunch. I had already seen the menu and tried to explain some dietary preferences, but the waitress responded with a negative attitude right from the start. When I asked about non-alcoholic drinks (since there was no menu), she dismissively said, “the same as everywhere else” – not exactly helpful. She walked past our table several times without even making eye contact or taking our order. Eventually, I had to get up and go to the counter myself. Even then, she remained distant and unbothered. Another waitress finally stepped in and kindly offered us a complimentary sushi dish, but the damage was done. At these prices, the least you expect is decent, respectful service. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back or recommending this place.

Mooi restaurant met een ontspannen sfeer en leuk personeel. Heerlijk gegeten! We hoefde ook totaal niet lang te wachten.

Viel, eerlijk gezegd, tegen. Pietermannen besteld, smakeloos. Gold ook voor tonijnsteak. Jammer. Verder kwam er gezin met hond binnen. Niet echt de plek voor een restaurant...

Goed ontvangst , vriendelijk personeel, Hele goede wijn en menu kaart. De dagvis was de rode zeebaars en deze was heerlijk ! Een aanrader! Ik ga zeker nog een keer terug.

Our family visited this restaurant in the Easter, I would say quite disappointed for this bad experience. The woman who served us do not want to serve us with a good manner. And important is the food, u can see from pictures, there is one which looks not good and even unhealthy, I just asked to change one of them, she tried to joke me and do not understand my English and I point out that broke one , and have u seen the difference, she said no, and there is nature products should be like this. My requirement ist quite easy just change one , she said no, we do not have it anymore. We spent 223 euros in total but we get bad experience. Never come again !

De Oosterschelde kreeft is er weer. En waar kun je die beter eten dan bij Vigo Seaofoodbar... heerlijk klaargemaakt en met een lekker wijntje erbij. Leuke bediening dus alles helemaal top👌

I have to say that I'm quite disappointed. We came in thinking we would be welcome with a dog. They told us we can only sit outside, which okay, I can respect that. We were exited for food, because it looked amazing on pictures, and they have a good reviews. That was a next disappointment. The food looked beautiful, but it absolutely lacked any taste. I don't know if the cook is allergic to salt and pepper? Otherwise the fish was cooked nicely. Also it was written in menu that you get a salát and fries to your food. Which as I understood should be for ever, meal. There I was probably wrong, since we got only one portion of both. Okay fine, we ate what we got and ordered a dessert. That is probably the only reason I give 2 stars to be honest. The waited didn't look very exited to have any customers there at the beginning, it got better with time. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting haag only for a few days. I think there are better (and cheaper) option to be found around the city. And also, which server gives a dessert spoon on the table outside without any napkin, plate on anything else? Just put it on the table and left.

Op basis van mond op mond reclame een avondje genieten gereserveerd. Bij aankomst een warm welkom en een optimale bediening erna. Heerlijke visgerechten gegeten in een gastvrije omgeving. Wat wil je nog meer. Komen zeker nog terug.

Leuke sfeer, lekker eten en goede bediening. Uiteraard allerlei visgerechten gekozen en niet teleurstellend! Aanrader!

Wer Meeresfrüchte in einem gemütlichen Ambiente genießen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Es gibt eine gut dimensionierte Auswahl an Speisen, zum größten Teil natürlich Meeresfrüchte und Fischgerichte. Wir hatten vorweg Austern aus 3 Regionen, danach je eine üppige Vorspeise und als Hauptgang je ein Fischgericht. Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Alle Gänge wurden zügig serviert und trugen jeweils ihre eigene überzeugende Handschrift des Kochs/der Köchin. Auf ganzer Linie hat uns der Service und die Weinempfehlungen überzeugt. Wir konnten verschiedene Weine probieren und der junge Kellner hatte sichtlich Freude uns das Beste aus dem Weinkeller zu präsentieren. So passten die Weine hervorragend zu den Gerichten und wir konnten Weine kennenlernen, die wir vorher noch nicht kannten. So soll Kulinarik sein. Gut gemachte Speisen in Verbindung mit hervorragenden Weinen und der Interaktion zwischen Gast und Service. Wirklich top!

No es como solía ser. En el pasado este restaurante era muy bueno. Esto ya no es así. La calidad y el sabor de la comida no es muy bueno y la camarera era simplemente muy arrogante. No es lo que esperarías de un restaurante así. Nunca fue así en el pasado. Estábamos muy decepcionados. Vigo solía ser mi restaurante favorito, pero ahora ya no volveremos a este lugar.

We hebben genoten van het heerlijke kerstmenu. Alles klopte. Heerlijke amuse, oester en verrassend desert. De wijn adviezen konden wij erg waarderen. Deze man verstaat zijn vak. Ook de tijd die deze heer voor ons nam. Dank en wij komen zeker terug. Ook de kleinschaligheid is fijn zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Mooi en gezellig ingericht. Top bediening en heel lekker eten!! Zeer snel bediend, nodig want we moesten een bus halen.Vlakbij het Gemeentelijk Museum. Goede en betaalbare huiswijn!

Heerlijk gegeten in een fijne sfeer met hele fijne bediening. Gestart met Zeeuwse oesters en shashimi en als hoofdgerechten kabeljauw/truffelrisotto en tonijnsteak.

The good was great the atmosphere was great but the service was very bad when we ordered fish with fries and salad only one came with fries and 5 minutes later the second fries comed but we didn’t get the salad until 20 minutes later! A good experience but very long wait for food.

Met vrienden uit het buitenland een prima avond doorgebracht bij Vigo. De sfeer is ongedwongen, de stropdas kun je gerust thuislaten en de gerechten zonder uitzondering heerlijk. Het is geen restaurant van liflafjes, maar van een heerlijke moot prachtige vis, gelardeerd met uitstekende wijn, en met een desert dat eigenlijk wat te. omvangrijk is, maar zo lekker dat je toch voor de bijl gaat. Een speciaal compliment voor de bediening, onze ober, man met baard, altijd op tijd, kundig, en met een goed gevoel voor wat de klant wil, een natuurtalent die duidelijk plezier heeft in zijn vakmanschap.

We kwamen om ons tweede huwelijksjaar te vieren en dat is gelukt! We hadden nog geen ervaring met oesters en kreeft maar het personeel was uitermate vriendelijk in het adviseren en bijbehorende wijnen!

Food is great! Service could be better. I didn't get off to a good start, I guess. Had high expectations, got a strange table at the very back of the shop next to the coffee machine. We were sometimes forgotten. And at the end we had a strong feeling that we had to leave, perhaps employees wanted to go home, it was still before 10 o'clock....

Love this little area of the Hague and Vigo is a must if you love Seafood! The mussel's so sweet and the sauce was awesome for dunking the fries! The service was great! The servers are all fun and welcoming! My friend ordered the grilled sole...o Sole Mio! Soo good. We shared the seared scallops for appetizers .... chef's kiss! I'll be back next month and will order the grilled sole or maybe I'll order the mussels too!

We come to this restaurant regularly because it is one of the few places that consistently maintains a decent level of quality in both food and service. In terms of space it's a bit on a little side. We've ordered both à la carte and the set menu, and the food has always been fresh and tasty. We particularly enjoy the sushi, tuna steak, cod fish, tacos with tuna or salmon, and coquille. It's always a pleasure to dine here. Please keep it up, Vigo!

Amazing seafood with portion size. Catch of the day was an enormous serving of the freshest mussels I have ever had. The sole and the trio appetizer were also excellent.

I recently had dinner over there and i must say that it was a great experience. One of the highlights is that they accept dogs, which is great for pet owners like me. We ordered bouillabaisse and the mussels, and both meals were excellent. The dishes are not only tasty but also served in generous portions. The price for the quality and quantity was very good. The service was great, with attentive and friendly staff. The wine recommendation was amazing and paired perfectly with our meals. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this place to others.

Het was mijn derde keer en eerder had ik een goede ervaring maar niet zo deze keer. Was ietwat gaotisch toen wij aankwamen rond de bar. Wij gaven onze jassen en gingen naar de tafel. Na ongeveer 10 min ging min omdraaien om te kijken of er iemand aankwam en een van de dames zei hard JaJaJa zoals wij komen. Vond niet gepast en zeker niet professioneel. De wijn die wij namen (glas) was een beetje "oud" denk ik want mijn vriendin naam een tweede van hetzelfde en er was een verschil in smaak en reuk. Ik vroeg even of ik een ander kon krijgen en dat werd zonder probleem gegeven maar niet hartelijk. En fin ze deden het werk maar ging niet echt van harte. Heb wel tip gegeven maar ik wou nu dat ik dat niet had gedaan..... Zou ik terug komen? Voor het eten mischien want die is goed maar niet voor de aangename service die er niet was. Jammer.

There were four of us here. My wife, my daughter (16), my son (9) and me. The Pasta Vongole, the Kibbelinge for my son, the veggie burger and my lobster were all top, top, top. A relaxed atmosphere and super friendly service rounded off a really nice evening. We'll be back when we get a chance!

Het eten was prima. Bepaalde aspecten van de rest wat minder. Leuning van de trap die langs de keuken naar de toiletten voert was vettig en vies. Tweede fles wijn was niet gekoeld. Slagroom van de Irish coffee was bedorven/ moest worden vervangen. Eén portie friet werd geserveerd na het hoofdgerecht ipv erbij.

After visiting this restaurant, all 4 of us got sick. Most likely because of the oysters, because all 4 of us ate that too. Each of us has contracted a serious stomach flu. The main course was also baked for too long, which meant that the fish had much less flavor. Very disappointing, because the service was very friendly and helpful.

Nice atmosphere, delicious seafood, perfect service. We had shrimp croquettes, redbeet salad and turbot all very tasty. Will go there again.

Our weekend started with a stop. Super tasty food. Ray with lemon risotto and a delicious shiitake sauce. And very friendly, casual service with the right suggestions. And that for a fair price.

Very memorable food had the most fantastic meal it was incredible. I came with a table of 7 and all of my friends would agree. Great food and very well priced for the calibre. Everyone was happy with the fish and I had the sushi and it was insane!

Me and my friend decided to have a big lunch here. Service was decent, slightly annoyed at the fact we couldn't open our own wine we brought. (Corkage fee wasn't possible apparently) Rather decent selection of wines btw. The food was rather tasty, the only issue is that both me and my friend got a terrible case of food poisoning, likely from the oysters we shared together. Good chance it was the Vibrio virus, both suffered muscle pain and cramps. With a good amount of visits to the bathroom. 😉

Had dinner here before, but with a longer break in between. Two two courses, a tasty sushi roll and excellent oysters (which is not surprising with an affiliated fish shop in the background). Then we both had a Bouillabaisse, which at €18 was quite expensive, but good. To our great surprise, however, this fish soup contained everything except fish (the soup itself may have contained traces of fish, certainly fish stock), but four mussels, four shells, a peeled shrimp and a scallop. I understand that everything is becoming more expensive, but €18 for a fish-free fish soup? A Bouillabaisse does not have to contain only fish, but a few chunks would have been nice. The staff shrugged their shoulders and took note.

Restaurant ziet er uitnodigend uit en bij binnenkomst wordt netjes de jassen aangenomen. De tafels staan dicht op elkaar. De stoelen zien er wat spartaans uit, maar dankzij een plat kussentje kun je prima een paar uur zitten. De bediening is vriendelijk en correct, zij het wat zakelijk als er wat mis gaat. Foutjes worden rechtgezet zonder er (te)veel woorden aan vuil te maken. Voorgerecht was prima; zachte dikke coquilles, licht aangebakken. Tafelgenote had een bisque d'homard. er werden 3 sneetjes brood op tafel gezet en het was niet duidelijk of dat bij één van de gerechten hoorde. Prima brood om restjes saus en/of bisque op te maken, ook al heeft het brood te lang gestaan (wat droog en hard geworden). Gekozen voor kreeft dat blijkbaar een seizoensaanbieding is en bijna €10,- goedkoper dan de kaart aangeeft is, wat een positieve verrassing is. Minder positief echter toen we de kreeft op tafel kregen: De kreeft is om te beginnen zeker geen 400 gram zoals op de kaart vermeld is; hooguit 275-300 gram. Wat dat betreft is het maar goed dat het bijna 25% goedkoper is, de hoeveelheid is hier wel naar ratio. En de kreeft Thermidor heeft een raar smakende kaassaus met een zeer bedenkelijke bruine kleur en harde korst. Als je dat laagje wegveegt, hou je een piepkleine kreeft over die ook nog eens veel te gaar is; zo gaar en zacht dat het bijkans verkruimelt als je het uit de schaal wilt halen. Een paar blaadjes spinazie er bovenop gekwakt. Tafelgenote had bij haar kreeft gevraagd om de special fries ipv de gewone frites. Toen ik vroeg waar mijn frites bleven, werd gewezen naar de special fries; dat zou twee porties zijn. Ik zei dat alleen mijn tafelgenote had gevraagd om special fries, maar ik niet; ik wil gewone frites, precies zoals op de kaart staat. Nogal raar dat als 1 iemand een aanpassing wilt, er meteen vanuit gegaan wordt dat de ander datzelfde wilt. Nee dus. Als gasten kreeft eten, weet je dat mensen ook hun handen gaan gebruiken; waarom worden er geen natte doekjes, een kommetje water of warm doekje aangeboden na de kreeft? Zitten mensen met plakkerige handen, ruikend naar kreeft aan het nagerecht, niet zo best. Nagerecht was okay, niet bijzonder. Ik haalde bijna mijn lip open aan een barst in het glas. Bij het afrekenen werd heel nadrukkelijk vermeld dat het drankje niet in rekening was gebracht. Netjes, al zou ik het ook wel heel ongepast hebben gevonden als ze dat drankje wel in rekening hadden gebracht. Al met al, vond ik Vigo een behoorlijke teleurstelling. Voor een zaak die al ruim 10 jaar bestaat en hoog aangeschreven staat, zijn er echt teveel missers.

Nice cosy ambiance and hospitable staff. Pay was and upscale experience. And indeed, a focus on seafood. The quality of cook nog and presentation of the dishes are good to very good. Although we had delicious dishes, the pricing takes some of the fun away. A starter and main course set you back 50 euros or more easily. A plate of linguine pasta with vongole with a salty, watery souplike sauce and 2-3 cherry tomatoes 28 euro. That’s over the top. with The affordable wines, 5-10 euros a glass are nice but do not surprise at all. Water is of undefined origin, from “a water system” as the waiter called it, so no idea what we drank, could have been plain tap water, but 6 euros for a bit too big caraf is steep. There was one meat dish, the waiter could not clarify what the cut was other than beef. Again, the meat dish would charge 25-30 euros but without revealing what you are eating and buying. The food is very nice, the amount of since too, but clearly the whole setup is geared toward maximising price, so even with the good food we good, the pricing was on the highest end for what it offers.

Warm welcome, mussels were very successful (we drank the broth with a spoon like soup). Susi and oysters are at the highest level. Riesling is highly recommended.

We had a summer dinner as a group of 5. We ordered the Vigo trio, sweet potato truffle fries, and grilled octopus as starters. Smoked eel and salmon in Vigo trio were pretty good, their cocktail sauce was nice too. The grilled octopus was slightly overcooked for my taste, but the zhoug sauce that they served it on saved it. I was so happy to find their zhoug sauce on multiple dishes, it was very delicious but beware it's heavy on the garlic. From their mains, we tried the soles, weaver and the tuna fillet. Soles were crispy and the butter sauce was well-seasoned. The weaver was also well-made, the beurre noisette sauce and the red beat risotto that it was served on were the highlights on our table. The risotto especially, was one of the best I had at a restaurant. The sole vegetarian in our group went for the quinoa salad, which had their garlicky zhoug sauce and grilled zucchini, both of which were quite heavy on the garlic. The tuna dish also came with the same garlicky zucchinis I think, so beware if you're sensitive to the garlic. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at Vigo. The service was good too, our food arrived on time. Their wine menu is also rather extensive, and they had a waiter taking care of food and wine suggestions (not sure if he was a somellier, I forgot to ask). The atmosphere inside the restaurant is really cozy and they have beautiful decoration, but if the weather is good definitely dine outside in their garden as I've noticed they had melissas growing in their garden it smelled divine.

Teleurstellende lunch. Had een Caesar salade met kip, misschien ook niet handig in een visrestaurant. Anyway, te karig in de sla, croutons uit een zakje en frituurkip wat 2 keer in de frituur is geweest. Bediening kwam erg laat aan tafel ondanks dat we de enigen op het terras waren. Jammer.

De moelleux was echt ondermaats.. Veel te lang gebakken, de chocolade stroomde er niet uit en dat voor 10 euro. Was just een miezerig droog stukje chocolade cake met een bolleke ijs. Hoofdgerecht was wel heel lekker, ruim aanbod aan vis.

We hebben een erg gezellige avond gehad. De bediening was super vriendelijk en erg meedenkend. Fantastisch gegeten.

Jammer dat ik er geen foto bij kan zetten. In april 2023 pasta vongole gegeten. Super!! Vandaag de helft gemist in het gerecht en zand brr. Had ik gelijk moeten zeggen. Zand wel gezegd maar toen ik de foto terug zag van april.... eigenlijk teleurgesteld

Heerlijk eten. Vis wordt perfect klaargemaakt. Regelmatig bij een visrestaurant gegeten maar dit is wat ons betreft één van de betere. Aanrader!
