Great place for a simple lunch. The menu is small. Very tasty lentil soup, the portion of salad is simply huge. Pleasant, unobtrusive service, clean and bright inside.

Really wanted to like this place, but I didn’t. The employees were nice, the interior was cozy, but the food was just not good. The sandwiches were frugal and the overall taste was not that good. For the prices they are asking, the food was just not good enough. Also the pancakes were just not.. it.

For work reasons I have gone to Vinnies for breakfast two days in a row and I recommend it. I would have no problem repeating it a third time 🤩. The first day I ordered a yogurt with granola and fruit which, at first, I thought was a little expensive, then I realized that they put a good amount. The second day I ordered some pancakes 🥞🫐🍌, how good!!! And I'm not usually crazy about these things that are so sugary, but very delicious. The service was very good and also the atmosphere. I recommend the site if you need to work from a cafeteria 👩🏽‍💻.

Ordered Shakshuka and Chai latte. Both were really good and tasty. Chai was not too sweet, probably the best chai latte I have had thus far anywhere.

Vinnies is my favorite spot in Amsterdam. I’ve tried almost every dish on their menu, and everything is always amazing—high-quality and consistently delicious. The fact that their food is organic is a huge plus, especially because it’s essential for my mother’s health. We come to Vinny’s almost every day—if not twice, at least once. The staff are always friendly, and the owner is wonderful. The coffee is always spot-on, and the matcha latte is absolutely perfect. I can’t believe it’s taken me years to write this review, but Vinnies deserves every bit of praise!

Popular brunch spot near a busy road. Was asked if we had a booking. Managed to get seated outside on a picnic table. Took a while for everything to arrive including the drinks. Ok meal. Quite pricey.

This was my first restaurant experience for my first trip to the Netherlands, and what an amazing high bar Vinnies set. We ordered the Omega-3 Breakfast, Banana Split Pancakes, and a slice of their fresh apple pie. All the flavors were incredibly well balanced and refreshing; it was a vibrant breakfast to start the day. The atmosphere is very cozy as well, like a warm café. The next time I'm in the country, I absolutely must visit again.

Very good cafe, the food is great. However, if you have a larger group, you should make a reservation.

We love having brunch in this place, esp Mexican eggs & orange juice are recommended. They also make Chai Latte which is one of my favorites! Highly recommended.

The food was just amazing! Love the matcha latte. The vibe is buzzing and vibrant. The service was a bit strange - I was turned down when asking for a table (perhaps it’s not a spot for tourists) but when my dutch friend arrived 5 mins later and requested it the waitress hesitantly gave us one. It made me feel uncomfortable as if she didn’t want to seat me in there.

Great service, greater staff. I’ve had my Çılbır aka Turkish eggs with some Dutch touch. Best Çılbır in Western EU so far. I was so hungry so I forgot to take the photo :(

Turkish eggs were good but swimming in too much oil. Poor reception service yet the table service was excellent. Nothing special.

We liked it. We went with a group of friends, tried shakshuka, pancakes and a traditional breakfast with eggs. Everything is incredibly delicious. Both food and drinks. There is a choice from espresso to hot chocolate. It is also possible to order a drink with alternative milk. My shakshuka was delicious, with cilantro, a little spicy, everything was just right. It was served with soft buns for dipping in egg and sauce. My husband tried the pancakes, they were fluffy, moderately sweet, with delicious syrup and nuts.

The food was very tasty and the price was completely reasonable for Amsterdam standards. The shop is also very nicely decorated and the coffee tastes good.

Lovely outdoor sitting, super tasty ingredients, freshly squeezed orange juice, and good coffee. We were staying in the area to attend an international conference and this became our go-to spot! Service is not super fast, but we were not in a rush — the slow and chill pace was great to start the day.

We had breakfast at Vinnies 3x out of the 5 days we stayed at the airbnb. We tried two other breakfast restaurants that have over 1k reviews and neither one came close to Vinnies. We love the service, the food and coffee, and the atmosphere. We also had a nice chat with Danny one of the days. Lastly, kudos to the staff and owners for taking pride in their restaurant by keeping it neat and clean especially the bathroom — that’s how I judge restaurants and people’s home!

Very warm welcome, cuisine with fresh produce.

We have tried the sandwiches, and what I like the most is that the ingredients are bio/organic, the bread is special and everything is chosen with care.

Update: i went again for breakfast early morning and it was not crowded, the service was faster and the food delicious. They also have sencha with fair quality We really loved the food, but had to wait for more than one hour. Rather than that five stars!

The food was delicious and the serving size was big. We had great hot drinks and a nice relaxing atmosphere that allowed us to recover from long international flight with tasty ingredients.

Enjoyed breakfast twice at that lovely place. Service is great. Ordered pancakes and granola. Both very delicious! Also had the cinnamon bun. Heavenly! Must eat on site as they get heated in the oven and than caramelise nicely. Next time in Amsterdam we will be back for sure. Highly recommended!

When I entered in the morning, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent with fresh bread and tasty ingredients that give you a good start to the day. The service was also great: friendly, attentive and fast!

Just stopped by while we were in the area visiting the miffy store down the street. We are visiting tourists from the USA and really had a lovely brunch here! We sat outside by the street and the food came out quickly. I got the Dutch juice (ginger cinnamon orange juice - I really liked it but it's not for folks who don't like ginger), the Shakshouka was excellent and the omega-3 breakfast was good too. Everything was super fresh, you could tell the ingredients were good quality and it was really tasty.

They serve stunningly tasty and healthy Omega-3 breakfast. The food is fresh and they cook everything in a paced manner. My favourite breakfast spot in Amsterdam.

What a nice place, nice decor, nice acoustics, helpful and friendly staff and a very nice menu. There were three of us and we couldn't choose. We were advised to choose three dishes and share them. The dishes were served in the middle of the table and we were given a small plate to eat from. A soup beforehand, absolutely fine. It's also nice that you can order some additional ingredients to give your dish a personal touch. Very tasty coffees too! We will definitely come back!

Went here for breakfast last week. The staff was super friendly and the food was tasty. It was a lot though. The coffee was tasty too. I brought a cinabun and an oatmeal cookie to take home. The cinabun was the tastiest I have ever eaten. Now I have to come back from Rotterdam soon.

Best breakfast, best coffee and above all best and friendliest service. I love the Dutch gastronomy mentality! I wish waiters in Germany would at least sometimes smile as nicely and friendly as everyone here always does as a matter of course. 😊🫶

Thought the food was very chill and was served quickly despite the crowds. A bit noisy due to tables that are too close together, but otherwise fine! Cinnamon roll was nice too! Coffee really needs to be better, poorly brewed.

Me and my boyfriend love to come there after our gym session! The service is really quick and we somehow never wait long to get seated or receive the food. On top of this the food is absolutely delicious. My boyfriend loved the mexican eggs, and I tried this time the Gilbir turkish eggs, which was a little too oily to my taste , but very delicious too. Those small pita bread are really stunning, a very nice addition ;) And the lentil soup was also incredibly tasty! We'd love to come again!

Love coming to Vinnies every time we are in Amsterdam! Discovered this brunch spot a couple years ago and were delighted to be back again last week for the exact same food!

Caesar salad was very good and soup was nice as well. The staff are polite and welcoming and their attitude makes the atmosphere even better.

A nice place for a brunch. Food despite a great supplier can be improved. The balance of flavor and the seasoning is not amazing but the place is warm. The staff very kind and we add a 65 € bill for 2 adults and 2 children which is quite good.

Ahhh those pancakes are my absolute favorite!!! I have noticed that the coffee beans have changed recently. Previous ones were tastier 🥹Ladies in the service are always darlings.

Really lovely cafe for brunch! They can do gluten free bread so any of the dishes pretty much can be made GF! Very friendly staff and dog friendly. All the sandwiches are open face so I had the delicious avocado on toast with poached egg. And the Turkish bread to go with the Turkish breakfast was my husbands highlight.

A nice cafe for breakfast or brunch. The portions are good. I had the Omega-3 breakfast with salmon and scrambled eggs. Also the roast beef sandwich. In the latter case, the sauce with blue cheese is not for every taste, I would say. But it was delicious. My friend wanted the baked oats, but accidentally got something else. Points deducted for this.

Wonderful breakfast here! It is as good as one of those in Sydney. All the ingredients are fresh and I finally had some good coffees in Europe. We had oat cappuccino, omega-3 breakfast and veggie breakfast. Would highly recommend!

Nice spot. We had a delightful meal, although it was incredibly busy, and the noise level was uncomfortably high, reminiscent of a henhouse. We decided to leave shortly after. You can't work here with your laptop, which is understandable given how crowded it is; the seating is quite cramped. However, the food and drinks are fantastic. While the sandwiches are pricey, they're incredibly tasty. The dirty chai latte was also excellent, and the pancakes were truly delicious. So, I would definitely recommend it for the food. If possible, opt to sit outside for a more enjoyable experience.

This places was a nice surprise! We got lucky to find a table for lunch at Vinnies and it didn’t disappoint at all. I had the Mexican eggs, and flavor was great, the portions were perfect and coffee was good too. The only thing I didn’t love is that it was very busy/full, so there was quite some noise of people talking

Super quaint breakfast/brunch place. Highly recommend. A little outside of the city centre, but absolutely worth it. Everything‘s great.

Great brunch with friends. We had the corner booth which was a bit awkward but we made it work. Very busy location but the food was delicious and they helped us find something to eat for the toddler in our group.

After I was told twice, we are full. This time I made a reservation for lunch. It was packed again. It is very cozy and they have sprayed flakes on the ceiling so that the acoustics are manageable with so many people. However, my €14.50 sandwich was a culinary mistake. Fine to pay such an absurd amount for two slices of bread. But then it must be credit. I chose the warm pastrami with melted gruyere and kimchi. Well, the cheese had once melted, but the sandwich was ice cold and the cheese could no longer get through. No taste, so probably not real Gruyère. More of a cheese analogue. The Pastrami was therefore not warm and actually barely noticeable such thin slices. Then you hope that the Kimchi will give the cowardly stale cheese taste a bit of a boost, but the Kimchi was not real Kimchi but a kind of cowardly pickled onion. My dining partner's pancakes looked very nice. The juice with ginger shot was small in size but had a perfect taste.

Because it received such a high review, I think expectations were a little too high. The lunch I had was fine, but not very special. Good coffee, yes. And plus points for the carafe of water on the table! P.s. My impression may have been somewhat clouded by two brash businessmen who sat next to me at the large table. With the volume at 25. This tent can't do anything about that :)

A cozy restaurant. The dishes are freshly prepared and you can see the love and care. that is being worked with here. We came here often for brunch. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We'll definitely see each other again.

Went for brunch and everything was lovely! Nice staff, amazing coffee and the food was very tasty! We got the roast beef sandwich, the chicken curry sandwich, the granola with yoghurt and fruit and some lemon poppyseed cake. The sandwich portions are quite big, so you could share or take some home if necessary :) overall i would recommend, and definitely coming back!
