The food is usually fine, but the staff gives an unprofessional impression. Employees walked around in casual clothes and seemed more likely to be relaxing than working. I didn't even know if one person worked there. This doesn't give a professional impression and detracts from the experience. But I think those guys were hired as substitutes through a temp agency.

At Wagamama, we had to wait a bit for a seat, but the staff was friendly. The food is good, but a bit pricey for what you get. All in all, a good experience, but the value for money could be better.

I simply love Wagamama, and no matter where I am in the world, if there's a Wagamama there, I'm there too. I've been to London several times, and I've also been to Stockholm, Wellington, Copenhagen, Dublin, and Rømonne multiple times. It's such a shame there isn't a Wagamama in Germany.

I tried this place in London before and really enjoyed it but this time it was a bit disappointing. The tofu pad thai was a bit too acid, missed flavour, seemed to also have the egg missing, looked more like noodles with a sauce on top. For the price you pay, the dishes do not correspond with the images and the portions are small. Two people with two noodle dishes and two drinks was 50€.

I ordered ramen, but the noodles were cooked incorrectly, making them inedible. I ended up paying a discounted price instead of a full refund. It tasted like Vietnamese pho mixed with some unidentified dish, not ramen. I'm just amazed that they sell this as ramen in the Netherlands.

The food is excellent, the only slight drawback is that they serve your entire meal (starter and main course) at the same time.

I ordered chicken ramen from this place, and it was good, but I wouldn't say it was the best ramen I've ever had. It could have been richer in flavor, and there's room for improvement. Thank you. It was a nice stop to unwind after shopping and grab a bite to eat.

Well, the food is consistently good (it's a chain). Unfortunately, the temperature is never right, and there's always a draft from the air conditioning. Also, while the service is present, it's always curt. On my last visit, the bill was incorrect.

The atmosphere is pleasant, with some kitchen noise, but they can't control that in such a small space. Overall, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. I'm glad there are still restaurants that pay close attention to allergens.

Wagamama in Roermond serves delicious food, but there's no restroom in the restaurant. You have to go outside, walk a bit, and use the public restrooms in the shopping center. I find that unfriendly. The food is always good quality, but I find the prices too high, especially for small dishes. The staff is friendly. Be aware: it can get very busy around dinner time, so you might have to wait a while. Other Wagamama locations ask guests if they're familiar with the concept of dishes being served as soon as they're ready. This location doesn't, and some guests may react when dishes are served at different times.

The problem is the staff. They don't know how to work.

We ordered two portions of bao buns, one with Korean Barbecue Beef and one with Chicken. As well as Bulgogi Beef and a noodle dish with salmon (can’t remember the exact name). Unfortunately, the bao buns arrived only after we had almost finished our main dishes. The mains were really disappointing in taste. The salmon wasn’t cooked through; I sent it back, but the second wasn’t really better. We asked for new cutlery because the first ones were dirty, but even the replacements still had dried food on them. Overall, the food was neither tasty nor satisfying. I didn’t even get full because I simply couldn’t eat it. The bill took ages to arrive, and the staff seemed stressed and confused. Next time we visit the outlet, we’ll just grab a sandwich somewhere else. For me, this place feels like a complete tourist trapy They probably think people won’t come back anyway.

I had the chance to enjoy a delicious katsu chicken curry 🍛 and this was unbelievable mucho gusto. But let’s rewind: We entered Wagamama knowing the brand from Switzerland. The other restaurants weren’t what we were looking for. The restaurant was almost empty; it didn’t surprise us at all on a Thursday during lunchtime. We began with edamame, gyoza, and continued with the main course. The starters were delicious, and I was curious whether it could be better than all that we had. I mean, the bao’s were 10 out of 10. My chicken katsu curry was served hot, and the taste was something like perfect! The chicken was crispy, the sauce was on point, and the rice was perfectly prepared. We had no space down in the stomach, so we had no chance to try any dessert. But after such a meal, you don’t need a dessert! Staff? Perfect, proactive. Toilets upstairs in the building. We had to wait 20 minutes for the waiter to take our order, then our dishes arrived 15 minutes apart. €5 for tap water, the curry tasted like Uncle Ben's sauce from a jar with mashed meat and mushy rice, and I don't even want to talk about the "ramen." All in all, really awful for the prices and not recommended.

The taste was good, but there was far too little sauce and very little meat. There was still a lot of dry rice left at the end. And the egg cost extra...and it was quite expensive for that. We've eaten there every time we've visited the outlet, but we noticed that it was getting worse each time. We'll eat elsewhere in the future.

I had a very disappointing experience at Wagamama. The food was brought out in completely random batches, so instead of eating together with my group, we all ended up eating separately. Some dishes arrived much earlier than others, and the drinks only came after the food, which makes absolutely no sense. Sharing a meal is supposed to be a social experience, but this turned into each person eating alone while others waited. For the price and reputation, this is completely unacceptable. I won’t be coming back.

Placing the order takes 25 minutes alone. Most of the tables aren't cleared and are only being cleaned in a makeshift manner. What's also unpleasant are the incredibly "shitty" chairs...not one at a table for four without bird droppings on the back AND seat!! The food, as always, doesn't arrive at the same time, but 15 minutes apart!!??? So...really...nothing's changing, and good words aren't enough here. Dear franchise operators...your operating concept here in Roermond is certainly bringing in enough money...unfortunately, it's not being used for good staff....

There's a wide variety of food to choose from. It's fun to eat with a group of friends.

I remember eating there in London once around 15 years ago and was shocked at the quality of the ramen, which was far from what you would call ramen.It was supposed to be Japanese ramen, but at that time buckwheat noodles were used in the ramen soup. Yesterday here I visited the restaurant with the expectation that it must have improved since then and become more edible. The ramen noodles were overcooked, The pad thai was not bad, but it was overloaded with fried onions, the dumplings looked like the frozen ones sold at the chinese supermarket, and the ramen soup was the same as ever anyway.Surely it is Chinese-style ramen? I don't think I will ever go to this chain again in my life.

My girlfriend and I both got sick, the last time I got the same. It was good, but probably due to poor hygiene.

We've been coming to this restaurant for years. It's always good, really. The service varies from okay to excellent, depending on who's doing the work.

Very slow service, sometimes not recognizable as a requirement. Only after intensively approaching and staring at the waiter, they became active... Food was good, but the wait was long. Not recommended!

The best I can say about this meal, aside from the price, is "average." But since this is such an expensive mess, I can say it really wasn't good. Very dry and lacking in flavor, especially if you don't count the burnt taste. Now I just hope I don't have to suffer through the whole evening. The staff were somewhat antisocial and gave us the perfect experience to go with our meal.

The food at Wagamama is really tasty, no complaints there. Unfortunately, the service is very poorly coordinated. I’ve been there twice now and both times it was the same experience: dishes don’t arrive at the same time. While one person is already eating, the other has to wait up to 15 minutes for their meal. This takes away from the whole dining experience. Such a shame, because the food itself is great, but the service makes it frustrating.

Very disappointing! The food wasn't served hot, there were overly large chunks of raw leek, and the kimchi was simply inedible. Overall, this food is seriously subpar. Not recommended. Response to your comment: I see you're giving a standard response, just like with all the previous negative reviews. That seriously underestimates the intellect of your customers.

The food was okay, but the ramen wasn't authentic. The service was attentive and friendly, but the employee was still quite unsure, so placing the order took a while. The open kitchen is quite nice and interesting to watch. The children's menu wasn't included in the handed-out menu or wasn't handed out. When ordering, I referred to the children's menu on the website. It should be handed out directly to children.

As Asians, we often look forward to dining in an Asian-themed restaurant. That's how we ended up at Wagamama after a day at Designer Outlet Roermond. The Tom Yam Thai noodle soup was the first to arrive. The waiter, who obviously didn't speak Dutch, spilled the soup on the table and didn't bother to clean it up. Here you go, he laughed. The soup was filled with a few noodles and five mini shrimps. Then the Bulgogi noodles arrived, almost cold with pieces of chicken and a sour taste. A tasteless whole, it had nothing to do with Bulgogi. In common parlance, one would say: it was inedible. However, we had to pay €48.

Another franchise that caters to dutch people only and by that I mean the food is bland and over priced. And the portions are too small. Looking at the menu from 2024 to 2025 the price increases are wild. Please stop asking people what WAGAMAMA can do better. Your negative reviews all state the same thing. You do not offer value for money. €8.50 for a large orange juice. And charging almost €20 for ramen is a crime and whoever created the price list should be locked up.

I was really disappointed when I entered this restaurant to eat tomyum ramen. I thought that customers who go shopping in Roermond all day with hunger would go to a fancy restaurant to eat, but the dish I ordered was downright bad. 1. The tomyum ramen was initially very big when it was presented, only the size of a spoon. I could eat two spoons of it and then it was gone. I was not full when I had to pay €100 for a family of four, while each bowl cost €18. But it was not tasty and filling. The restaurant does not have good business sense.

Rice noodles are an unconventional choice for yakisoba, which should have been in the description on the menu. I would have been okay with that though, had the dish been flavorful. Unfortunately I found it pretty bland and – even while eating it wasn't really enjoyable – the portion size was way too small. Especially for the price.

We had dinner at Wagamama in the Designer Outlet Roermond last Monday. It was very busy, which is understandable in such a location, but the service was very disappointing. The staff were rude and disrespectful to the customers. Our orders came one by one, with long waiting times in between - and one dish didn't even come at all. When we pointed this out, it seemed as if the staff didn't feel like solving the problem. The food was lukewarm to cold and certainly not tasty. For the high prices you pay there, you expect at least warm and tasty dishes and decent service. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience, and we will definitely not be going back. I advise others to eat somewhere else if you value quality and respectful service.

There are bowls for everyone here. Noodle and rice dishes are also delicious. Despite the customer chaos, the staff remains calm, friendly, and competent. The kitchen seems tightly organized and efficient. Meals aren't delivered all at once, but rather when they're ready. This means you can get your meal quickly, provided you can get through the line at the entrance.

Our third visit, as always, it was extremely busy. As always, the waiters managed to get us a seat after a short wait, and we had a delicious meal with great service - a must-visit in Roermond for us!

Great place. Everytime we visit Roermond it‘s a must for us to go to this place. Yes, the portion sizes are sometimes a little small, but the food is really tasty and the staff is extremly friendly and helpful. I usually order the Vegatsu (see picture) which is a vegetarian alternative to a Katsu curry. Despite the fact that the meat alternative used in this feels a bit „cheap“, I absolutely love its taste and texture. Definitely worth a try!

All the unoccupied tables were simply filthy. The service was so uncoordinated. They sometimes forgot about us. Then they served the wrong, ice-cold food. We let them know, and the whole thing took five minutes, and the table next to us got the soup that was on our table. Afterward, we had to wait another 20-25 minutes for the food we ordered. Absolutely child-sized portions, and the prices were simply outrageous.

I've visited this place a total of four times, and each time we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Ilham. Her positive energy left a lasting impression on us from the very first visit. Every time we came, she greeted us with the same kindness, attentiveness, and uplifting spirit. That's why I felt compelled to leave a heartfelt review. We had a delicious katchu curry here. Mainly to compare the taste with the recipe that we regularly make ourselves. Based on the taste at this restaurant, we make it very well ourselves 😆 Definitely worth repeating

We've been to wagamama in England many times, and we were happy to eat there again. The service was super friendly, and the food was good. We had a seat on the outdoor terrace, which is poorly shaded. A parasol or two would have been nice.

When we were assigned a table, I asked if it was possible to have one large meal together because I had recently had surgery. I had to pass this on to the person who came to take the food. After 20 minutes the order had not even been taken. The people in front of us already got their food. Then we decided to eat elsewhere. Perhaps because we asked to share a meal. It was the first time for me to eat at wagamama. My son is a regular customer. Not the best impression! It's nice that the owner responded immediately, but I'm curious what kind of answer the staff had.

Vegan dishes are well indicated on the menu. I had the vegatsu curry. This was quite spicy, although this was not stated. I also missed vegetables. It was breaded crispy tofu (like a kind of schnitzel) with a ball of rice on top, topped with lots of curry sauce. And a salad on the side. I wanted to order brown rice, but it was gone. The dish my friend wanted to order was also gone, as was the dessert my friend wanted to order. This was an hour/half an hour before closing time, but still a shame. We enjoyed it and the staff was friendly and helpful. Price for the curry was €17.95 and the drinks were very expensive (almost €4 for normal soft drinks). There is no toilet, you have to walk outside around the corner (1 minute walk). There is a general toilet in front of the outlet.

I visited the restaurant yesterday because I wanted to have a ramen soup. Unfortunately, they no longer had the ramen I had been enjoying for years. I know wagamama from London, and I was very disappointed. The waiter, to whom I returned the dish, was extremely polite and friendly. However, I have to say that the prices have become unreasonably high, and the quality, at least yesterday, did not match the price. My ramen soup with shrimp and noodles cost €19. Honestly, there were only about two spoonfuls of noodles, that’s it. I had to return it because a ramen soup should mainly consist of noodles, not 5% noodles and 95% broth. This was very disappointing and, for the price, unacceptable. Prices can’t just keep rising while quality drops. This was the first time I experienced something like this, even in a high-end restaurant, I would never get so few noodles for that price. I sincerely hope you can make improvements regarding this.
