My first visit there, but not my last. The food was delicious.

The food was fine, but not outstanding, and the service was good. I wish they had a greater variety of drinks on the menu. The jasmine rice served with the curry was a nice touch. The basil chicken portion was quite small, though. The katsu curry was tasty, but I was a little disappointed that they don’t serve it with jasmine rice like they do with the other curry dishes.

I recently ate here for dinner. It wasn't busy, but the service was a bit on the slow side. The staff is friendly, though, but there is quite a bit of confusion regarding the dishes. According to one person, some things could be adjusted, but later it turned out that wasn't the case. We ordered two curries. Personally, I didn't think the vegetarian curry was all that great. The sauce was very thick and the sticky rice made the dish too heavy. In my opinion, they should serve this with regular rice and pour the sauce separately rather than over the entire dish. The shrimp curry was much better and tasted better too. The rice was fluffier, and the sauce had a more subtle flavor. But overall it was okay, although not really what I'm used to from Asian food. I have eaten at Wagamama in the Netherlands twice now, but I am not really impressed yet. I felt there were few fish dishes on the menu, and the spiciness couldn't be adjusted. So that was a shame, because it left few choices. You do get a whole plate full of food.

I used to love Wagamama and it was one of my favourite restaurants but I was quite disappointed when I went, I got the pad Thai and it was very hard and it had no sauce :( I even ordered another dish after which was the chicken katsu curry which used to be my all time favourite, but the rice was also very dry.

We had a delicious meal! Lots of choice on the menu, tasty dishes, and a nice atmosphere. The service was friendly and everything was well taken care of. Definitely recommended!

We chose this place because it was quiet during our shopping break at lunchtime. Our orders arrived within a reasonable time, but when we wanted to order something else afterwards, no one attended to us. This annoyed me, and when I tried to pay the bill, we couldn't find anyone to help. Finally, I got up from the table, paid at the cashier, and quickly left. Regarding the food, it was very spicy and salty. We wanted to ask for a side dish to soften it, but as I mentioned, no one attended to us. We left our meal unfinished. I will not be going there again.

I tried 4 different dishes and they were all amazing. I had distanced myself from this cuisine after my previous experiences, but Wagamama completely changed my mind. I loved it.

The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is delicious. However, since the outlet is rather small, the atmosphere isn't quite five-star. Having to use the restroom outside is annoying, but they do offer handwashing facilities on-site, which is great.

We had a lovely day and wanted to grab a bite to eat afterwards. We received a very friendly welcome and were served immediately. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Rassi was especially impressive. Thank you so much for the great service!

The food was very good and high quality, but unfortunately, the service definitely needs improvement. There were only two of us, and we had to wait quite a while before we could order our aperitifs. As the wait dragged on, we ended up ordering our main courses at the same time. As a result, our main courses arrived before our drinks, which was rather surprising. Furthermore, I received my main course almost 15 minutes before my partner's. So we had to eat at different times, which is a shame for a meal for two. It's truly regrettable because the food was very good. With more attentive and better-organized service, the experience would have been much better.

It is a shame that the meat is not halal.

Wagamama is an Asian restaurant located in the Roermond Outlet Center. It offers ample seating both indoors and on a terrace overlooking the bustling outlet center. A glance at the multilingual menu, some of which features pictures of the dishes, makes it clear that Wagamama is part of an international chain. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, both with and without meat, ranging from rice and noodle dishes to bowls. The spiciness of a dish is indicated by the number of red flames depicted on the menu. The food is prepared indoors in an open kitchen that flows into the dining area. The dishes—whether with noodles or rice, and with or without meat—were generally delicious. The red flames on the menu were also a good indicator of spiciness. I ordered a dish called "Firecracker." The name was fitting—it was indeed quite spicy. However, the number of chicken strips could have been a bit higher. Nevertheless, it tasted great. Unfortunately, one dish with duck was disappointing, as the poultry was tough. We were all the more pleasantly surprised when, after we pointed this out, the server didn't charge us for it. We hadn't expected that. For this reason, among others, we found the service staff to be consistently friendly. Incidentally, due to our limited German language skills, we communicated in English. Overall, our first visit to a Wagamama restaurant was a pleasant experience. I can therefore definitely recommend the Wagamama in the outlet center.

Got incredibly sick because of this place!! How is that possible?! In a designer outlet and not having your kitchen in order, scandalous. I'm not the only one who got sick either.

Wagamama Roermond in the Outlet is a great location for lunch. Thanks to the open kitchen, you can see that the dishes are prepared fresh.

I am currently at Wagamama in the outlet. The food I ordered was very tasty and of good quality. Unfortunately, the reception was not welcoming and the service was very disappointing. The staff barely smiled and the waiter had little interaction with the customers. I did not feel welcome and found the service absolutely unpleasant. It is a shame, because the food was actually very good.

They forgot our order even tough we were the only ones in the restaurant

Even a week after my visit, I still have severe stabbing pains and stomach upset from a teriyaki rice dish with shrimp. Both my companions from back then and I suffered a lot from it, and still do.

After spending half a day at the Designer Outlet, we came here for dinner. We didn't have to wait and were able to choose a table immediately. You can sit both inside and outside. It was slightly warmer inside, but thanks to the shade, it was very pleasant outside. Do keep in mind, however, that the restrooms are not located in the restaurant itself; for that, you have to use the outlet center's restrooms, which is a short walk away. The service was friendly and fast. Our order was taken immediately, and the food was on the table within a short time. With our family of five, we chose a nice mix of dishes: steamed chicken gyoza, bao buns with spicy teriyaki chicken, tantanmen beef ramen, coconut curry udon with extra chicken, grilled duck donburi, and Thai basil chicken with extra shrimp. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and looked well-presented. We really enjoyed our meal. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a good meal after shopping at the Designer Outlet.

We were warmly welcomed by the team right away, and a menu in French was presented to us... The explanations were clear. The server, Zak, was very friendly and smiling, and explained the dishes well to us. The coconut Udon noodles are excellent—perfectly spiced and delicious. Thanks to the team and Zak for a great time.

We have been eating at this concept for years. Actually, it is always good. The service varies from okay to very good. It depends on who is doing it.

I visited Wagamama for the first time 15 years ago in London. Even then, we found it exceptional. I don't think it existed in the Netherlands yet. I believe it was one of the first restaurants where you could enjoy Asian street food in an atmospheric and trendy setting. When we were in Roermond—we never go there, as we live in Groningen—we just had to stop by. It was tasty, but the magic is a bit gone. That isn't Wagamama's fault, because you can get it everywhere now. But next time we're in Roermond, I'll stop by again.

First time at this chain restaurant, and what's more, in a very large outlet mall. Well, I was blown away and pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food served. We had a very good meal. The cooking was perfect and the dishes looked delicious.

Not only the food is good, but the service is also great! They serve food fast, and the outdoor seating area is quite comfortable for the summer time.

Visited the Designer Outlet in Roermond, today! Don‘t miss that restaurant. Excellent taste and outstanding service! My wife and me had asian food and the taste was pretty close to what we have eaten during our holiday in Thailand (Curry and Pad Thai). Authentic flavour !!! Also, great arrangement on the plate 🍽️ Fully recommended !!! We will definitely visit you again.

The food at Wagamama in Roermond is delicious, but there is no toilet inside the restaurant. To use it, you have to go outside, walk a bit, and use the communal toilets in the shopping center. I do not consider that customer-friendly. The food is always of good quality, but I find the prices too high, especially for small dishes. The staff is friendly. Please note: it can get very busy here around dinnertime, so you may sometimes have to wait a bit. Another point for improvement: please make the terrace smoke-free. Non-smoking customers are required to sit inside.

The food is usually fine, but the staff gives an unprofessional impression. Employees walked around in casual clothes and seemed more likely to be relaxing than working. I didn't even know if one person worked there. This doesn't give a professional impression and detracts from the experience. But I think those guys were hired as substitutes through a temp agency.

At Wagamama, we had to wait a bit for a seat, but the staff was friendly. The food is good, but a bit pricey for what you get. All in all, a good experience, but the value for money could be better.

I simply love Wagamama, and no matter where I am in the world, if there's a Wagamama there, I'm there too. I've been to London several times, and I've also been to Stockholm, Wellington, Copenhagen, Dublin, and Rømonne multiple times. It's such a shame there isn't a Wagamama in Germany.

Expensive and small portions, average food, not worth the money!!!

I tried this place in London before and really enjoyed it but this time it was a bit disappointing. The tofu pad thai was a bit too acid, missed flavour, seemed to also have the egg missing, looked more like noodles with a sauce on top. For the price you pay, the dishes do not correspond with the images and the portions are small. Two people with two noodle dishes and two drinks was 50€.

I ordered ramen, but the noodles were cooked incorrectly, making them inedible. I ended up paying a discounted price instead of a full refund. It tasted like Vietnamese pho mixed with some unidentified dish, not ramen. I'm just amazed that they sell this as ramen in the Netherlands.

The food is excellent, the only slight drawback is that they serve your entire meal (starter and main course) at the same time.

I had ramen chicken. On the menu it is nr 20. Please don’t take this. It was so terrible. There is no taste in this meal at all. You can’t serve this to your customers.

Many tables were empty, but we still had to wait a long time. Then we were helped by a bored waiter. We only got one plate of food, after 15 minutes! The rest arrived.

Well, the food is consistently good (it's a chain). Unfortunately, the temperature is never right, and there's always a draft from the air conditioning. Also, while the service is present, it's always curt. On my last visit, the bill was incorrect.

The food was delicious, even though I generally don't like stew, it was delicious. The service was also very friendly, and they're very attentive to allergens, which is a huge help for many. The atmosphere is pleasant, with some kitchen noise, but they can't control that in such a small space. Overall, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. I'm glad there are still restaurants that pay close attention to allergens.

Nice place, plenty of healthy dishes to choose from. I had chicken katsu, a delicious dish with curry, white rice, and crispy chicken.

We ordered two portions of bao buns, one with Korean Barbecue Beef and one with Chicken. As well as Bulgogi Beef and a noodle dish with salmon (can’t remember the exact name). Unfortunately, the bao buns arrived only after we had almost finished our main dishes. The mains were really disappointing in taste. The salmon wasn’t cooked through; I sent it back, but the second wasn’t really better. We asked for new cutlery because the first ones were dirty, but even the replacements still had dried food on them. Overall, the food was neither tasty nor satisfying. I didn’t even get full because I simply couldn’t eat it. The bill took ages to arrive, and the staff seemed stressed and confused. Next time we visit the outlet, we’ll just grab a sandwich somewhere else. For me, this place feels like a complete tourist trapy They probably think people won’t come back anyway.

The other restaurants weren’t what we were looking for. The restaurant was almost empty; it didn’t surprise us at all on a Thursday during lunchtime. We began with edamame, gyoza, and continued with the main course. The starters were delicious, and I was curious whether it could be better than all that we had. I mean, the bao’s were 10 out of 10. My chicken katsu curry was served hot, and the taste was something like perfect! The chicken was crispy, the sauce was on point, and the rice was perfectly prepared. We had no space down in the stomach, so we had no chance to try any dessert. But after such a meal, you don’t need a dessert! Staff? Perfect, proactive. Toilets upstairs in the building. The restaurant was clean and clear! Definitely a reco for everyone in Roermond! Our first non UK wages.. and it didn't disappoint .. super!!

We had to wait 20 minutes for the waiter to take our order, then our dishes arrived 15 minutes apart. €5 for tap water, the curry tasted like Uncle Ben's sauce from a jar with mashed meat and mushy rice, and I don't even want to talk about the "ramen." All in all, really awful for the prices and not recommended.

The girls are very polite, fast and smiling.

The taste was good, but there was far too little sauce and very little meat. There was still a lot of dry rice left at the end. And the egg cost extra...and it was quite expensive for that. We've eaten there every time we've visited the outlet, but we noticed that it was getting worse each time. We'll eat elsewhere in the future.

I had a very disappointing experience at Wagamama. The food was brought out in completely random batches, so instead of eating together with my group, we all ended up eating separately. Some dishes arrived much earlier than others, and the drinks only came after the food, which makes absolutely no sense. Sharing a meal is supposed to be a social experience, but this turned into each person eating alone while others waited. For the price and reputation, this is completely unacceptable. I won’t be coming back.

The portion sizes are also constantly being adjusted downwards. I always eat the duck...but the amount of meat used today isn't even half of what was in it during my visit in May, or 3 days ago in Amsterdam... Roermond wagamama...not anymore...🥺 Edit 09/20/2025 You should also give them a second chance...but as of today, that one is also lost! The service is massively overwhelmed! Placing the order takes 25 minutes alone. Most of the tables aren't cleared and are only being cleaned in a makeshift manner. What's also unpleasant are the incredibly "shitty" chairs...not one at a table for four without bird droppings on the back AND seat!! The food, as always, doesn't arrive at the same time, but 15 minutes apart!!??? So...really...nothing's changing, and good words aren't enough here. Dear franchise operators...your operating concept here in Roermond is certainly bringing in enough money...unfortunately, it's not being used for good staff....

There's a wide variety of food to choose from. It's fun to eat with a group of friends.

I remember eating there in London once around 15 years ago and was shocked at the quality of the ramen, which was far from what you would call ramen.It was supposed to be Japanese ramen, but at that time buckwheat noodles were used in the ramen soup. Yesterday here I visited the restaurant with the expectation that it must have improved since then and become more edible. The ramen noodles were overcooked, The pad thai was not bad, but it was overloaded with fried onions, the dumplings looked like the frozen ones sold at the chinese supermarket, and the ramen soup was the same as ever anyway.Surely it is Chinese-style ramen? I don't think I will ever go to this chain again in my life.

My girlfriend and I both got sick, the last time I got the same. It was good, but probably due to poor hygiene.

The best I can say about this meal, aside from the price, is "average." But since this is such an expensive mess, I can say it really wasn't good. Very dry and lacking in flavor, especially if you don't count the burnt taste. Now I just hope I don't have to suffer through the whole evening. The staff were somewhat antisocial and gave us the perfect experience to go with our meal.

Very slow service, sometimes not recognizable as a requirement. Only after intensively approaching and staring at the waiter, they became active... Food was good, but the wait was long. Not recommended!

Good food but not exactly cheap

The food at Wagamama is really tasty, no complaints there. Unfortunately, the service is very poorly coordinated. I’ve been there twice now and both times it was the same experience: dishes don’t arrive at the same time. While one person is already eating, the other has to wait up to 15 minutes for their meal. This takes away from the whole dining experience. Such a shame, because the food itself is great, but the service makes it frustrating.

Good Japanese restaurant in the Roermond Outlet Center. A reasonably extensive menu with a good selection of cocktails. All at fair prices.

The restaurant was busy, underscoring its popularity. Although several tables were free and already set, we had to wait a bit longer to be seated. The service seemed under pressure at times, which unfortunately made the friendliness and attentiveness somewhat lacking.

The food was okay, but the ramen wasn't authentic. The service was attentive and friendly, but the employee was still quite unsure, so placing the order took a while. The open kitchen is quite nice and interesting to watch. The children's menu wasn't included in the handed-out menu or wasn't handed out. When ordering, I referred to the children's menu on the website. It should be handed out directly to children.
