Wat een sfeer hangt er, in het oudste cafe van Voorschoten ! Zowel binnen als buiten is t goed toeven. Ga volgend jaar weer terug.

Nice location, but inside it is old and outdated. That can also have its charm. And will be personal for everyone. The service is excellent and friendly. Lunch is nothing special. It's tasty, but not great. Carpaccio sandwich came with two slices of white casino bread and the sandwich of the month came on 1 slice of brown bread. At least for us, there were no vegetables or extra sauce. That's hardly filling. The price you pay does not justify the quality.

Recently ate here for the first time. Nicely located on the Voorstraat in Voorschoten. It is a cafe cum restaurant. It was a bit of a shock upon entering. You enter through the cafe, which is pleasantly busy but also noisy. Fortunately, the restaurant area was around a corner where it was also busy but nice and quiet. Nice ambiance. The service is extremely cordial and attentive. You will also receive a carafe of water on the table immediately and without asking. Where else do you get that? The map is clear. The baguette in advance is fresh and warm. The fish trio as a starter was good, the eel a little less pronounced in taste than hoped. As a main course, the catch of the day, a delicious white fish fried on the skin with a delicious sauce and grilled vegetables al dente. This includes fries and a salad. This also applies to this: where do you get that? You usually have to order that separately. The dessert menu is also clear, but there are tasty things on it. All in all a very good experience with an excellent price/quality ratio. Five stars is a bit too high and four stars are too low. Definitely worth repeating.

Ate a delicious tenderloin skewer. The wine was good and the service excellent. A bar in the restaurant, as a bar should be.

A place where you feel welcome and where you can enjoy a nice glass of wine on the lovely terrace. The service is very friendly and hospitable. It's been a long time since we ate here and it's high time again. Good cuisine with something for everyone on the menu.

El sitio tiene restaurante y se ve que más a la noche parece una cervecería. Sin embargo, por las tardes se puede tomar un buen café con torta de manzana, y el ambiente está tranquilo. El lugar NO tiene música, y hay muchos libros en las paredes. Es agradable para poder charlar.

Ordered cappuccino with apple pie here on an autumn morning in the sun. Very nice terrace in a surprisingly nice town. Apple pie very tasty/recommended. But why (here too) is the cappuccino tasty but very lukewarm?

Been for the first time. Great location with delicious dishes, yesterday I had lunch on the terrace with my wife. Friendly and fast service. All in all highly recommended, we will definitely come back again.

What a great restaurant in pretty Voorschoten. By chance we went there for dinner in the evening and felt very comfortable. In summer the outside area under the trees is beautiful. Delicious food and attentive service!

Beautiful appearance from outside and inside. Unfortunately, service was slow and quite impersonal/not in keeping with that appearance. In terms of food, we had appetizers, sandwiches and cakes for the kids. Unfortunately the cheesecake was not to my taste.

Met name in de zomer is het heerlijk zitten op het terras. Maar binnen in het restaurant gedeelte mag echt wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Wat een oude boel! Verder heel aardige bediening, simpel maar prima eten.

Horrible! Staff doesn't pay attention to you. Food is very limited and really nothing that stands out. Cheese sandwich... rather a decorated lettuce sandwich and the cheese is clearly in the minority.

Nice place for lunch! We were here during the classic car week. Ate delicious salads. Good coffee. Nice glass of wine. One point of doubt, we asked for fresh orange juice. It didn't seem like it, but the young lady persisted.

Dit is een recht toe recht aan eetcafé. Prima ontvangst door jongen achter de bar. Tafel was gereserveerd met persoonijk naambordje. Kaart biedt voldoende keus tegen heel acceptabele prijzen. De bestelde kogelbiefstuk is prima op smaak, maar taai en heeft harde spierachtige structuur. Niet heel erg lekker. Bediening is goed. Deze zaak is gewoon een gemiddeld eetcafé, niks mis mee, maar ook geen duidelijke aanrader.

Goede lokale gerechten! Ook de bediening sprak met een leuk Voorschotens accent. Al met al echt een aanrader als je een keer naar Voorschoten gaat. PS wij gingen op bezoek bij een vriend in Voorschoten, wij komen zelf uit Rotterdam maar mochten helaas niet mee eten. Geluk bij een ongeluk kwamen bij de lokale culinaire hoogvlieger terecht!

Meer Voorschotens dan dit ga je het qua publiek niet krijgen. Dit haalt de waarde van het Wapen dan ook direct omlaag. Goed oersoneel, prima eten en drinken.

We zaten op het bovengedeelte, gezellige plek en werden gelijk geholpen, drankjes en lunch perfect en bediening goed gemutst en accuraat ,aanrader,gr.

De spareribs zijn heerlijk. Vlees valt bijna van het bot.

Gezellig terras om heerlijk te genieten van een uitsmijter. Maar ook binnen goed toeven!

Vanmiddag hier op het terras gezeten. We bestelden allebei een broodje brie en een fanta en cola light. De serveerster kwam met de broodjes brie en bij een waaide de sla eraf en liet ze het flesje cola omvallen over mijn partners nieuwe broek. Met een kleine sorry maakte ze zich er van af, we moesten vragen om een doek, ze kwam aan met een natte doek voor de tafel en toen we een doek voor de broek die kletsnat was vroegen, kwam ze aan met een servetje. Van de cola was niet veel meer over maar ze bracht ook geen nieuw flesje. De brie was niet bijzonder en boter voor op het droge brood moest ik apart vragen. Voor ons geen tweede keer.

Deze plek is echt horeca onwaardig. Vieze terrastafels, medewerker die handen niet wast na toiletbezoek. Geen drankenkaart, dus geen overzicht van prijzen. Verbazing als je ernaar vraagt. Amateurs maar bovenal tegen alle regels in die er voor de horeca gelden. Iets voor de ACM? Prijsinzage is verplicht voor producten en diensten. Wederom een ondernemer zonder horeca hart. Heel jammer maar helaas niet de enige. Nooit meer Wapen van Voorschoten.

Vanochtend een koffie gedaan met goede kennissen. Was rustig op het terras, goede koffie en attente bediening.

Het eten was wel lekker ik miste aleen rijst bij de kip sate er werd veel tougé bij gedaan dat eet ik niet zo koud op. Is meer voor de sier denk ik voorderest een gezellige sfeer en gastvrijheid ondanks we laat daar aankwamen nog ging de kok eten maken ondanks het restaurant gedeelte bijna ging sluiten.

We komen graag bij het Wapen van Voorschoten voor een kopje thee of ‘s avonds voor een borrel. De sfeer is aangenaam en het personeel vriendelijk en in de juiste mate betrokken. De menu kaart is overzichtelijk en bevat lekkere gerechten. Deze vegetarische schotel overtrof mijn stoutste verwachtingen. Zeer smaakvol en absoluut vullend. We zullen zeker vaker overweg hier te lunchen of avond eten.

Niet zo'n leuk plekje. Buiten bijna helemaal aan de zijkant achter een boom Eten niet bijzonder, wel lekker. Service zoals je mag verwachten. Prijs-kwaliteit aan de dure kant.

Gezellig in hartje centrum gelegen restaurant waar het toch rustig is. Men heeft er aandacht voor de klant. Bestelling was snel beschikbaar evenals het bijzonder praktische kinderzitje voor onze kleindochter. Cappuccino was heerlijk en het eerste koekje werd ook als goed getest door onze kleindochter. Bij de tweede ronde kreeg zij een gezond takje met druiven dat ook gretig aftrek vond.

Zomaar een woensdagavond. Eten buiten de deur. En dan beland je in het ‘Wapen van Voorschoten’. We zaten in het café gedeelte, gezellige sfeer met een prima muziek op de achtergrond. Een simpele, overzichtelijke kaart met een aantal vertrouwde gerechten. Wij kozen voor een kipsaté en spareribs. Nothing fancy. Dan is de truc in de keuken dus de manier waarop het gerecht wordt bereid. Het antwoord: niets meer of minder dan prima! Wat verder opvalt - en ik zeg dat wel vaker - is de wijze waarin de bediening onderscheidend is voor de waardering van je zaak. Goed nieuws in dit geval voor de eigenaar: je mag je handen dichtknijpen! Probeer deze mensen binnen te houden! Voorkomend, attent en servicegericht! Echt top!

Jebkunt hier prima eten voor een goeie prijs. Befiening is vriendelijk en attent. Wel vond ik het een beetje lawaaiig vanwege het hoge plafond.

Heerlijke broodjes en een gezellige sfeer

Een gezellig en warm ‘bruin’ café/ restaurant om wat te eten of te drinken. Wij namen een late lunch in het bargedeelte, maar ze hebben ook een restaurant en een leuk terras. Eten is lekker voor prima prijzen en de bediening is erg vriendelijk!

Aardige bediening, heerlijke koffie en goede vriendelijke sfeer

Het Wapen van Voorschoten is het verlengde van de huiskamer voor iedere Inwoner uit Voorschoten. De kroegbaas, Mariëtte Mol, is tevens dominee en zet de cappuccino klaar zodra ze je aan ziet komen. Aan het einde van de dag branden de lichten op het terras en oogt het café - ook in de winter - als een uitgangsplaats in Zuid- Europa. Overdag is het terras een rustige plek om met je laptop op tafel rustig een uurtje te schrijven. Binnen is het bijna altijd druk. Aanrader!
