What a great experience at this Indonesian store! The food was absolutely delicious – authentic flavors, perfectly seasoned and prepared with care. You can just taste that everything is made with love. The atmosphere was also very pleasant; warm, homely and inviting. What topped it all off was the owner: super friendly and helpful. She took the time to explain the dishes and made us feel completely welcome. Highly recommended, I will definitely come back here!

FINALLY real authentic Javanese food in Rotterdam! The best beef dishes such as rendang and belado, but also braised chicken and spicy egg, everything tastes exactly as it should. Nur is hospitable and very passionate. In addition to delicious spekkoek, there is also tjendol with real Javanese sugar (gula Java) from Indonesia. The only downside to eating here is that you won't want to eat Indonesian food anywhere else anytime soon :-p

Had a delicious meal on site with a good friend. Perfect service. Super sweet owner. Rarely have I eaten such a tasty gado-gado. And the rendang was also great. Nice to have seen the regular customers too. Immediately gave a good impression, because they walk away with the owner and the food. Justifiably. I will definitely come back soon.

AMAZING! Came in and bought some food for my mom (Maluku), it was so tasty i came back the next day for more goodness. Truly felt like home cooked flavours. The spicy chicken is on another level!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🙏🏾

It was my last day in Rotterdam, was craving Indonesian food. And I did not expect to find such a nice restaurant with kak Nur (the owner) being sooo welcoming i felt like i was just adopted by her. The food was warm and delicious, as Indonesian myself, the spicy level is very good! Would definitely recommend people to come here and i’ll be back!

This is the tastiest takeaway restaurant I have ever eaten at. I have eaten at many Indonesian restaurants but this tops them all.

While I was in Europe, this place was the best and the food was the most pleasing to my taste, the atmosphere was very homie and the owner was very friendly. I'm willing to go from Berlin to Rotterdam to eat this. I can't recommend you guys, because I'm confused about what to eat and how delicious it is, I'll just try them all. and in my opinion pls try the fish , that was the best i ever ate! I’ll definetely come back again when i travel to Rotterdam.

They catered for 40 people for us and that was fine. Good food, more than enough and everything delivered on time. In short, worth recommending.

I am normally critical of Indonesian food in the Netherlands. But here I am finally satisfied. It felt like I was eating Indonesia. Of all the Indonesian shops and restaurants in the Netherlands, this is the best! Personally, the batagor is recommended. As if it came from the batagor of “abang-abang”.

The food is always super tasty and I always leave here happy because of the good service and enthusiasm of the people who work there.

Due to a funeral, we were looking very last-minute for a caterer who could provide Indian snacks for after the ceremony. When applying, it was immediately stated that they would arrange it no matter what and they more than fulfilled that promise. The staff at Warung supported us very warmly and well and we were able to end the service in Indian style with delicious authentic snacks. Thank you again to everyone at Warung for making this possible for us and contributing to a dignified farewell.

Warung Jantje is een plek waar je uitstekend Indisch kunt eten en afhalen. Wij hebben er gegeten en het was voortreffelijk. Alles was precies zoals je van een goed Indonesisch restaurant kunt verwachten. Lekker smaken en lekker pittig. Een echte aanrader!

Ga je schamen als je van Aziatisch eten houdt en er langsloopt zonder wat te kopen. Man. Heerlijk dit! Al veel broodjes en gerechten geprobeerd en tot nu toe telkens genoten

Zeker niet slecht. Ze maken het voor je neus klaar, wat ik zelf heel prettig vind. De keren dat ik daar kwam vond de werknemers echt goed. Ze krijgen heel veel gedaan in korte tijd. En toch nog beleefd ondanks de drukte!

Vandaag voor het eerst Indonesisch eten besteld bij Warung Jantje. Ow wat heb ik een spijt... Ja Spijt dat ik dit niet eerder gedaan heb, want na bijna 14 jaar in Rotterdam wonende is het bijna schandalig te noemen dat dit heerlijke eten me ‘ontgaan’ is. Mijn partner en ik hadden menu nr 4 besteld, met oa Daging Smoor, Daging Rendang, Ayam thaise cashew, 2 groenten gerechten, saté, mini loempiaatjes, zoet zure komkommer, kroepoek en als toetje een stukje spekkoek. Het was echt voortreffelijk. Netjes via whatsapp mogen bestellen, het eten werd keurig op tijd bezorgd en na ontvangst een tikkie ontvangen voor de betaling. Wij gaan binnenkort zeker weer bestellen @WarungJantje.

Fijne zaak, heerlijke Indonesische gerechten. Aardige mensen. Vandaag was de kipsate op, terwijl ik die juist wilde meenemen voor de kinderen. Er werd goed meegedacht wat dan een goed gerecht zou zijn voor kinderen. Ook wel eens voor een grotere groep gehaald, altijd prima kwaliteit.

Met een grote glimlach werden wij vanmiddag geholpen! Lekker broodje als lunch en voor vanavond eten mee naar huis genomen! Wij waanden ons weer in Indonesië, heerlijk, zeker de Rendang is een aanrader! Top tent, we komen er terug!

Ik plaats niet vaak reviews, maar deze is zeer verdiend. Bij veel zaken krijg je als je vegetarische roti bestelt een bak zoute kerriesaus met twee aardappelen, een half ei en een verdwaald stuk kousenband hier en daar. Hier niet. Een flinke bak gevuld met diverse kraakverse groenten. Past ook makkelijk op twee platen. Erg lekker! Vriendelijk geholpen ook. Ik kom terug!

Heel lekker eten!! En ondanks de omstandigheden blijven ze nog altijd vriendelijk en leveren ze top service!

Spontaneously walked in here, on the outside board was something of Indonesian .... came in that turned out that you could also sit in a slightly better ambiance than downstairs, done right away. Then ordered our dishes, which were both delicious, we felt as if the nose in the butter cases. Also the service was top, very friendly and no effort too much. Absolutely recommended, delicious, friendly, good price ... what more could one want? Greetings and eat tasty in advance.
