First time to a Suriname Javanese restaurant in the Netherlands, precisely in Delfzijl. Mr. Ricky is very friendly, his Javanese is still fluent, the atmosphere is comfortable, it feels like being in your own village 😁 basically if you go to Delfzijl you must try Javanese food here, hopefully Mr. Ricky's business will continue to run smoothly 👍🏼🙏🏼

Today 2 sandwiches one with curry shrimp and one with chicken curry both with vegetables, long time since I ate such delicious spicy sandwiches!! Here I come again!! Highly recommended!!

Food super delicious, got two sambal to try, chutney and a spicy one. The spicy one is gone, delicious. It is not an atmospheric restaurant, but you can sit there well.

Order placed, my entire order was not even correct, ordered nasie, did not receive nasie, ordered piri piri sandwich with pickles and cucumber were not on it either. ordered a bowl of sambal got a bowl of madam jeanet had ordered extra normal sambal also got madam jeanet potatoes were almost black and dried out my roti that I ordered or in other words threw everything away but paid 36 euros and then you call them back at a quarter to 8 because your order is wrong they don't answer anymore worthless restaurant I would like to post a better review but we also once ordered that there was hair in the food so no not recommended they make you wait until late I am told your order takes 1.30 minutes it turns out to be 2 hours and 30 minutes you pay for food that you don't get so I just ordered somewhere else that is edible they say Javanese times has nothing to do with it if you don't even get what you ordered soon just stop by and ask for my money back because I ordered something that was wrong even the kouse band was rancid

Very good food! Price-quality ratio couldn't be better, everything is packed with meat and is absolutely not expensive. Very nice people too. Never had a disappointment here!

Perhaps not the most inviting eatery in Delfzijl, but it is the place to be for good food prepared with care and love. And in terms of price/quality, highly recommended.

I've had a really bad day. The man had to work overtime l. So I ordered some. And this just makes my day :) delicious food and good peanut sauce

I will never order from here again. Ordered food at 5:30 pm with delivery time of 5:45 pm. Half an hour later still no food, but I called and because it was busy it was later, it is now almost half past seven and no food on the table yet. This is really absurd!!

A very friendly and helpful lady helped us. The roti was delicious and stayed warm until the campsite where we stayed during Delfsail 2024.

Delicious food and lovely people. We were in Delfzijl for a day and ordered roti chicken. The sambal and chutney were also very tasty, worth repeating!

Food is never delivered. Ordered half past four for 6 o'clock, but was delivered at home later. Called after 2.5 hours. Food would already be on its way. After another half hour or so later, we thought we would have a sandwich. Then a 90 year old man arrived on a bicycle and said he had food for someone. Apparently the food had been delivered to him. Same house number. I had clearly stated in the description where the food should be delivered and that description stated a camper place and also which camper and not a retirement home. Luckily this nice man made the effort and was still so good on his feet that he found us. I was really flabbergasted and should have given him a tip, but in the crazy situation I forgot. The restaurant also had my phone number and could have just called me...

We were actually looking for an Indonesian restaurant, but it was closed. So we came up with this. So delicious food and super hospitable service. We got a free starter and we were given containers to take the leftover food with us, because the portions are large. The owner also speaks Javanese. Also good vegetarian options🙏🏽 Thank you very much for the delicious food and Surinamese hospitality.

2.5 hours of waiting and when you call you get a quick answer and even more time is added, glad that things are going so well that you can deal with customers like that... we didn't have to order again, seriously. do you solve problems? As if we would ever order again.

Vanavond hier heerlijk gegeten! Het eten smaakt heerlijk, de porties zijn top en de service is nog beter. Toiletten ook ruim en netjes. Ik zal het iedereen aanraden hier voorbij te gaan tijdens een dagje Delfzijl of dit als vast adres op te slaan als je in de buurt woont.

Heel goed eten en vriendelijk personeel

Echt een aanrader voor als je goed Surinaams Javaans wilt eten. Wat een aardige eigenaren ook, zeer gastvrij en alle tijd voor een praatje. De sambal was huisgemaakt en dat proef je!

Ontzettend aardige mensen bij dit restaurant eet je een goede surinaamse maaltijd voor weinig geld je kan er kleine en grote porties bestellen en geloof mij ik ben een grote eter maar een grote portie is echt groot het is voor mij fijn aangezien ik zo ver van huis ben toch als thuis te eten echt surinaams mijn complimenten aan Ricky en zijn vrouw super gastvrij.

Dat kan veel beter, kipkerrie hoort veel meer (eetlepels) Hindoestaanse masala in, iets meer Chinese zoute soyasaus, theelepeltje gorang masala extra en wat ajinomoto in en wellicht een zoet tomaatje. Tip haal je kip van Onstwedde of Haren DL, goede kwaliteit voor mooie prijs. Geroosterd varken is prima 👍 Rijst zou ik ook een andere leverancier voor zoeken. Dat is geen reclame. Gezien jullie 1 van de weinige in de buurt zijn zou het fijn zijn als de kwaliteit wat verbeterd. Plus tip, zet een broodje Dynamite op de kaart, dat hoort er gewoon op.

Een super mooie zaak! Vriendelijk personeel en lekker eten! Het eten wordt altijd netjes geserveerd en je kan ik alle rust genieten van je eten. Toiletten zijn ruim en schoon.

De bami met rundvlees was heerlijk net als de roti met kip en saté. We waren blij verrast dat het allemaal zo lekker was. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Vandaag voor het eerst besteld om mee te nemen, een hele vriendelijke man en het bestelde broodje pom en de roti waren ontzettend lekker. We komen graag terug.

Altijd goed eten hier. Het is altijd goed om een goede Surinamer in in je stad te hebben. Dit is mijn go-to als ik eens geen zin heb om te koken en ze zijn nog gezellig ook.

Lekkere roti met verse pannekoek. Porties zijn voldoende groot. Vriendelijk personeel. Afhaal, bezorgen of ter plekke eten.

Soep gekocht, volgens de fijnproevers was het lekker. Niet zo lekker als in Suriname zelf maar slecht is het zeker niet.

Wij waren een dagje in Delfzijl en hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. De service is zeer goed vriendelijk meedenkend en correct. Ik had zelf roti kip ik kan niet anders zeggen dan dat het heerlijk was. Het restaurant is schoon en heeft achterin twee zeer ruime toiletten. Je kunt hier ook terecht voor bezorgen of afhalen. Zeker een aanrader!
