Watami in Centrum

Als poke bowl liefhebber zo net een poke bowl tonijn hier opgehaald. Daarbij wou ik graag wasabi. Het viel mij ter plekke op dat de wasabi oranje van kleur was. Bij navraag hier over werd mij verteld dat het eigenmaakte wasabi saus was. Thuis gekomen direct de wasabi saus geproeft. Was een smakeloze veel te zoete en licht naar chili smakende vette saus. Geen spoor van wasabi smaak dus. Op de pokebowl zelf zat bijna geen tonijn en de groentes waren niet erg vers. En de rijst was veel te droog. Maar er zaten wel 10 cherry tomaatjes in???? Ik heb twee happen poke bowl genomen en de rest in de vuilnis zak geflikkerd. Als poke bowl liefhebber is de meest slechte pokw bowl ooit geproefd.

Onze eerste kennismaking met Watami was zeer positief. Heerlijk gegeten, verse producten en vriendelijke bediening. En ook nog schappelijk prijzen. Dus voor herhaling vatbaar.

Since I haven’t tried food here, I give 3 starts because bubble tea here is really bad. Tapioca is uncooked and matcha flavour tastes like flour with tea. Really bad impression. There are a better place for this drink

I don't claim that the food here is fresh and delicious, but the only thing I would complain about is the bubble tea. It doesn't taste good at all and has no richness.

Ate here for the first time and very pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is beautifully decorated inside, the service is friendly and fast, and the food is beautifully served and really delicious at a good price! Definitely recommended to get your sushi here!

We had a Milk Tea Boba here but it was clearly out of date, there was even a fly/spider in our sealed cup after which we opened it to check. Also had to pay, I don't recommend this... Bad place

Very friendly staff. Food arrived within 10 minutes and tasted great. Ideal place to eat if you don't want an all you can eat.

Very tasty dishes and great ambience! I had fried rice with chicken and 3 nigiri (salmon, avocado and flambéed salmon). My companion ordered fried rice with beef and octopus balls. The food was perfect and beautifully presented. I can recommend a visit to everyone

The people were very nice, you have to wait about 10 minutes, but it's wourth the wait.

If you still want to eat sushi, it is better to choose all-you-can eat. It was fine but not really special in any way.

Best sushi i had in the netherlands and one of the best sushis i had in general, the gyoza is also amazing, they have very good boba tea, the restaurant is beatifuly decorated and the staff is nice and friendly.

Really delicious food! Great and knowledgeable staff that will accomadate your requests! We asked for warm sushi, and they said they had them off menu but could make them for us! Also asked to add cheese to them, which they did and i really appreciate that! Nice atmosphere, great location, delicious food and kind servers. Surprisingly not busy, despite the central location and it being a sunday lunch! So it's a great discovery on our side! Will recommend and come again!

Love this place! I've been there a few times for dinner. The restaurant room is very welcoming and agreeable. The food is really tasty and looks so good and the service is quick. They also propose bubble teas and mochis. Good value for money!

Before leaving my review, I saw many other reviews and all were positive, and I get the impression that these people have never eaten truly delicious Japanese cuisine in their lives. The food is absolutely tasteless 0/10 Service and staff are friendly 10/10 The prices are not expensive, but for such food you want to pay a maximum of 1€ 0/10 The only thing I liked was the service, location and delicious bubble tea.

Tastiest sushi in Groningen. Enough choice & always top quality. We often order there & eat there too. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the owners & staff are very friendly and knowledgeable! Recommended if you fancy really tasty sushi!

To eat : Taste is good, that's it. A nice restaurant with simply good food at a reasonable price. Service: Things move very quickly at Watami. After ordering, the sushi was on the table within 5 minutes Unfortunately the hot dish for the 2nd person came 5 minutes later. The starter arrived (on request) another 5 minutes later. (The meat needed more time than the other dishes....) Watami is fine and can be even better with a little more time and attention when serving. Realm: Good atmosphere, polite without exaggerating. Treat people well and you'll have a great time. Repetition: Probably !

Één van de betere plekken in Groningen waar je poke bowls kunt krijgen. Restaurant is prima en netjes. De heerlijke poke bowls worden snel geserveerd. Bestellen kan eventueel via mobiel aan tafel. Dan hoef je niet te wachten op de bediening. Maar ook daar geen probleem. Ze zijn snel en vriendelijk.

Great place, not as huge and impersonal as many other sushi restaurants here. A la carte only but end of the night not much more expensive than the all you can eat places. Great quality and actually fresh! Highly recommend

Heerlijk gegeten in dit modern ingerichte Sushi restaurant. Sushi lekker vers en het varkensvlees in de Teppan Yaki heerlijk mals. Mannelijke bediening mag wel iets vriendelijker zijn. Verder prima geholpen.

We love to go here to enjoy the best tepan yaki ever and sensationally served sushi! We come with 5, 6 or 7 persons and are always happy to see the bill, because the price is 👍

Gezellig om te zitten, sfeervolle aankleding in leuk thema. Fijne ambiance. Bediening erg vriendelijk en flexibel. Sushi smaakt prima! Prijs redelijk gemiddeld voor sushi in het centrum. Niks te klagen gehad, komen zeker terug!

Nice Asiatic restaurant in the city centre of Groningen. Despite the high prices the food is actually really good and in most dishes it's possible to appreciate a bit of inventiveness from the chefs. Personnel is really kind and available and I really appreciated the decorations that come along with some dishes. I personally recommend sushi rolls here.

Ik heb hier nu 2x gegeten en het is heerlijk! Elke keer als we in de stad zijn kom ik speciaal hier een poke bowl eten! Vers smaakvol en je krijgt echt genoeg te eten. Vriendelijk personeel en snelle service ! Top !

Een leuk (relatief) nieuw restaurant. De sushi was echt lekker en werd op een mooie manier gepresenteerd. De gefrituurde garnalen variant vonden wij het lekkerste.

Inmiddels vaste klant bij Watami vanwege het heerlijke eten. En hier hebben ze de lekkerste Boba volgens mijn kinderen.

Het eten was echt heerlijk! Vooral de watami saus is een 100% aanrader! De poke bowl met zalm en de andere met paling was echt helemaal top. The karaage was zelfs na het bezorgen nog lekker warm en krokant!! De sushi was echt perfect gebalanceerd ~

Heerlijke en eerlijke maaltijd. We hadden een poke bowl en een tey pan yaki. Beide heerlijk en vers. Goed op smaak en nette prijs.

Occasionally found Asian food jem in Groningen. This was the best fried rice in my life. Very tasty meat. Perfect service, nice interior. Definitely recommend and will visit again!

Echt goede Sushi en Teppanyaki. Leuke bediening. Echt snel. Hele goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Ook voor afhalen zeer geschikt. Doen!
