Welgelegen Food and Drinks in Wijk 02

I had a great time here. The food is a lot better than when I ate here last year. I heard that they now have new management who are really making it fun! The Caesar salad was very tasty with pancetta and garlic croutons. Then two large pieces of chicken satay with delicious crispy fries. Great until next time!

A high tea at Welgelegen is a very special experience. First a panini, then a chicken satay sandwich, then (not tasty) fried snacks and a gigantic cup of pea soup. And that combined with tea from a vending machine. No cozy cups, teapot or etagere. We gave up the soup and fried snacks. We can call the order of food and the combination with the tea very strange. We left feeling nauseous and disappointed. It also didn't help that we were the only ones in the restaurant. What a disappointment!

Had high tea. Looks more like a lunch, just 2 slices of bread, one with brie with walnuts/honey and one with tuna and tomato. Then pumpkin soup and nachos. Finally, 1 chocolate muffin and 1 red velvet piece for 2 people. No tasty chocolates or macarons or other sweets. Doesn't look like high tea at all. Not worth the money.

Nice place for a lunch. Delicious food on a beautiful terrace. Lots of greenery. Ve tennis courts.

The service could have been better, there was no one behind the bar, and we had to find someone from the service. We had a gift for you voucher of 20 euros. And had to pay for the drinks in cash, while there was still money on the receipt. Didn't get a receipt back for the money that was left. We thought it was very strange! So not very satisfied.

Our most beautiful day was celebrated here. Kayleigh and Sabine, together with their staff, took care of us completely. We had a delicious meal and a fantastic party, where everything was perfectly organised. Nothing was too crazy. Thank you for being part of our wedding day. Love Chantal and Olga

Hightea via Gift for You hier gekregen. Het was een heel uitgebreide high tea met drie gangen en onbeperkt thee drinken. Het eten was werkelijk prima met hartige en zoete hapjes. Naast 5tprima uitzicht op de tennis en padelbanen, was vooral de bediening heel vriendelijk en snel. We hebben een heerlijke zondagmiddag gehad. Een echte aanrader dus!

Erg leuke plek om af te huren voor een feestje. Maar parkeren is echt.. WAARDELOOS !!

Gezellige plek, leuk ingericht en goed bereikbaar midden in Rijswijk!

Elke zondag speel ik bij welgelegen,goed service en Prettige gevoel sfeer. Mooie omgeving.
