It was cold inside and the food was lukewarm, the wok and grill were good

I used it for the To Goog To Go app, I've done it several times now, for €5 they give you a lot of leftover food from the buffet and the truth is that everything is delicious.

Yesterday I ate there on Christmas Day, never again, now it was a gluttony, many dishes were cold, everything covered in rubbish (due to spillage) and the heater was probably off, it was packed and getting in was a drama, only one door in/out, you can't blame the staff, they were running around like crazy, they come here regularly but no, not like that anymore, p.s. the food etc. tasted as usual although mostly cold and why it was now 16 euros more than normal is a complete mystery to me, it was just the same as usual.

☹️ Yesterday (24th) I ate here and was charged a holiday rate. Later, I saw on their website that the holiday rate only applies to Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Also, the staff took my bill while I was eating, which I found very strange. The staff were generally friendly, but this unfortunately made the overall experience less than ideal.

TL;DR: went out for dinner with friends, had a few sweet white wine. When I ordered a new sweet white wine a staff member accidentally gave me a mix of sweet and dry white wine instead of just sweet white wine and started an argument with me over it. 30th of November I went to A17 for a nice dinner with friends. We made reservations just before arrival. After settling at our table we went to the bar for drinks, I ordered a sweet white wine, got some food and went back to our table. This went on for several rounds since it's an "all you can eat" restaurant in buffet style. Halfway the evening / dinner, I went to the bar to get a sweet white. I ordered at the bar and saw my friends going outside for a quick smoke so I shortly joined them to go back inside after a minute or so. I grabbed my wine of the counter and went to our table. When I took a sip, I noticed it wasn't sweet white wine but a mix of sweet white wine with other, dry, white wine. I went back to the bar, kindly asked for a new sweet white wine but the waitress who was working the bar earlier wasn't present. Instead there was another, older, Asian looking woman in a beige sweater (looked like a teamleader or otherwise higher staff than just floor staff) who started to argue with me that my wine was just good and I had to just drink it because otherwise it was spilling wine which was unacceptable according to the woman. Well, call me picky, fussy or fastidious, but I refuse to drink something which makes me nauseous or even sick, just because someone accidentally made a mistake and throwing away a drink is unacceptable. I just couldn't. I tried to explain it calmly to the woman but she started to get al heated up and started to argue with me. I was a bit flabbergasted at that time. When I worked in a restaurant I always made sure my customers were happy and satisfied, on the contrary to what I was at that time. The woman just went on and on that I simply had to suck it up and drink my wine and she absolutely didn't want to throw away the wine. She made sure I never forget that because she told me and our group over, and over and over again. This went on for at least 30-45 minutes. I'm kinda sorry to say but I've never experienced such bad service. The food was really good and despite the negative experience with the second waitress we still had a blast. Also a big compliment for the first waitress who was so incredibly kind, quick and professional in her service!

Just a glorified Chinese restaurant without any semblance of class or romance. The food itself was fine, but it's too subpar to drive specifically for.

Three words: Factory with budget food. The food was decent, but looking around, you felt like you were in a factory, and when you went to the bathroom, it smelled like stinky socks that hadn't been washed in a month. The smell made me sick, and we eventually went home. It wasn't great.

We ate here on a Thursday evening and it was very quiet. Despite that, the buffet was well-stocked and complete.

Went here for the first time last Saturday. We had a lovely welcome and it looked clean. We had a delicious meal and everything was hot. We will definitely be back.

Worst restaurant ever! We'd never been there before and already had a bad feeling about it. Once inside, we immediately had to go to the bathroom—the dirtiest toilets I've ever seen. Okay, in a good mood, we continued on to dinner, starting with sushi and carpaccio. The sushi was dry, the carpaccio was almost frozen. Then we went to the wok, because we always love that. I had chicken with garlic sauce. The chicken was still a bit pink when we started eating; it was like a lump of rubber, tasted like nothing, and had no normal texture. Okay, again in a good mood, we grabbed a shrimp skewer from a container that had been sitting out all day, which it was because it was cold. Well, okay, let's grill it then. The tenderloin tasted like mashed meat with an overpowering salt and pepper. We were done with it; you pay €84, and this is what you get. We went to report it to the Bali, were inside for 45 minutes, and paid for 2.5 hours. We told her nothing was good, things were cold, and she didn't think anything of us. She just wanted us to make something fresh for you. So what? Shouldn't everything be fresh? She walked away from us and was impossible to talk to. We went to another restaurant. It's truly a restaurant we'll never return to; everything was terrible! If you want a good restaurant, go to Tafelen in Roosendaal or Lucky Apple; they're the best.

Awesome unlimited food and drinks for 2.5 hours

I'd indicated in my booking that it was my birthday that day. I'd forgotten my ID, but I had all the rest of the proof with me that it was my birthday via DigiD. They ignored this, and I couldn't accept the 50% discount they advertised. I'd also called ahead to confirm the booking for one additional guest because one other person had joined. This phone call was four days before the booking, and according to the lady on the phone, it wasn't a problem. There's always one extra spot at the table. Once we got there, it turned out to be a problem, and they explained it in a way that I should have communicated better. We were dumped somewhere in the back of a children's bookcase. It was incredibly crowded. Everyone was just milling around, and the staff was anything but friendly. What a terrible experience.

The freshly prepared meat and fish were delicious and tender. The selection is enormous. It's just a shame that some dishes were lukewarm, half cold. The price is reasonable, including beer and wine. Lots of desserts. Fresh orange juice. Only the atmosphere leaves much to be desired. The space is too large, resulting in a lot of empty tables because if you're low, you can see everyone's plate. There are no romantic corners or private spots. And then there's the toilet, almost a kilometer away, up and down the stairs through the entire building.

Always good food and lots of choice

We dined at Wereldrestaurant A17 again last weekend, and it was excellent again. Even more choices of fresh fish. And everything is freshly prepared. We're truly fans of the delicious food at this restaurant. And then there are the desserts… wow, so many delicious things! There are two different chocolate fountains, and even cotton candy for the kids. We had a truly wonderful meal here. The selection is enormous, and the dishes are incredibly fresh! You can also choose from a variety of soft drinks. And the desserts are absolutely fantastic! This restaurant is highly recommended!

Plenty of parking. The staff is motivated and very friendly. The food and drinks were excellent. The price for a 2.5-hour meal was very reasonable. The Brabants staff even let me keep my plate. Lol, a hint to the service.

Certainly not bad for this type of restaurant. It's not the place for atmosphere and conviviality. But that's always the case with these kinds of restaurants. The service is very friendly, though. Good for dining in a group.

For a long time we went almost weekly. But the last year the quality has gone down alot. The owner is obviously only caring about the money and shows zero.zero service related skills. The chefs and the personel are great but the managers / food are going backwards fast. We deciced not to go there again since there are plenty of better options in the neighbourhood.

We ate here for the first time yesterday. The food, the service, and the atmosphere are reasons we'll never return. The food is very greasy, the food is poorly stocked, and the kids are allowed to run around while everyone else is walking around with their plates. It's very chaotic, and I find the staff unfriendly. No conversation, no smile, no glance... The price of €43.95 per person was definitely not worth it.

After eating here tonight, I became seriously ill. I told several staff members that there were fruit flies in my food and/or drink. The food was more lukewarm than hot. The sushi fell apart and was as cold as if it had been in the freezer. I paid for 2.5 hours, but after a good hour or an hour and a half, I left and complained again at the reception. Tonight I tried to call them and tell them I'd gotten really sick; I can't keep anything down. Customers who come in for a to-go package are more important than having a conversation and finding a solution. I'm not saying I want all my money back, but some compensation would have been nice. I do know that we'll never come here again unless I want to get sick.

Never again! I got sick after the first few bites of sushi/crab leg. The carpaccio didn't look fresh either, completely dried out. I didn't eat it because it looked so unappetizing, but unfortunately, I still got sick from the sushi and crab leg. I left the restaurant quickly, well before our reservation was over, and I won't be back. People, be careful not to get sick!

Amazing choice of tasty food. Great for all the family. Plenty of vegan choices. Excellent staff. Price is a little high. But if you go very hungry I'm sure it is worth the price. Kids absolutely loved it. They even have candy floss and a little kiddies play area!

It's okay. Some of the staff were really good and friendly, others not so much. It could be a bit cleaner; where we were, there were a lot of flies and the walls weren't clean. The food itself was okay, not great, but certainly not bad. Plenty of choices, even for my girlfriend, who is vegetarian.

This is truly an all-you-can-eat restaurant! From Chinese dishes to Dutch bitterballen, sushi, grilled meat or fish, and various wok dishes, the selection is enormous. And don't even get me started on the desserts! From apple pie to fruit, a scoop of ice cream, or something delicious to dip in the chocolate fountains! Everything was neat and clean, and the staff was friendly. Highly recommended!

2 days ago New €1–10 The truth about the restaurant, I had been working in the restaurant from Dec 2024 till yesterday I was the waiter probably you all know me, I just want to inform all guest about the restaurant, they are working with old food nothing is fresh salads more than 2days old usually, they prepare the food in a very dirty way smoking in front of the food in the kitchen as well, the fridge is dirty, authorities will go to controll I'm reporting it. Ohh and the owner ivonne she make work the people 6days a week 12 hours per day for 1450 euros she don't give working contract she pay in cash she do tax fraud, and black working many workers,, this restaurant must be controlled by the authorities for the good of everyone. Zondag 13 juli weer bij de A17 gegeten, HEERLIJK!!! Mijn man en ik gaan regelmatig daar eten, wel altijd in de weekenden. We zijn nog nooit teleurgesteld altijd goed. We nemen altijd vis van de plaat gecombineerd met andere liflafjes en frietjes. De koks achter de plaat zijn vakmensen en weten precies hoelang het op de plaat moet liggen. Het is alltijd goed gegaard, knap. Ook de andere gerechten en vlees zijn lekker, hoor maar wij nemen heel vaak vis. Ik heb nog nooit een recensie voor de A17 geschreven maar vond het tijd om het nu toch maar eens te doen want we gaan al een paar jaar en het is altijd goed, vandaar mijn recensie. DIKKE 10!!!

Had dinner here last night, then I'm home with food poisoning. The food was anything but fresh. It had very little flavor and some things tasted very watery. The food was also lukewarm/cold. Last night I also had to throw up a lot and I still have a lot of stomach pain. The stomach ache came after the first few bites. Definitely not recommended!!

Het restaurant viel heel erg tegen, op social media staat het er mooier op dan dat het daadwerkelijk is. Ik heb hier sushi gegeten en kreeg na 1 bord al heel veel buikpijn. De rest van het eten was koud en alles behalve lekker, smakeloos. Er was heel veel keuze maar het was echt niet te eten. Diezelfde dag heb ik nog flink moeten overgeven van het eten en heb ik 2 dagen heel veel last gehad van mijn buik. Zeker geen aanrader.

Well, this is the best all you can eat restaurant I've ever been to in the Netherlands and Belgium. The staff is great and friendly, there is a huge choice of dishes and the atmosphere is quite cozy. We will definitely come back here!

Nice place, but all world restaurants have almost the same types of menu, one has lobster and crab in their assortment, the other doesn't, but you pay for that, one you pay € 38, the other more than € 40. I think it's ridiculous, 2 out of ten don't eat much, but you pay for it, I think it's a cunning sleaze

We were welcomed in friendly, food was unfortunately lukewarm and not to our expectations. Sushi was very tasty. As it got later in the evening we could not find any staff for it when we wanted some of the desserts.

I went for dinner on Wednesday and it was delicious with 4 people. What I didn't like was that I was sitting in the middle of the room. The restaurant is quite open. I would recommend sitting more on the side of the restaurant. In conclusion, it was delicious and definitely recommended.

Just an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Food was all fine, service fine and everything was kept clean and tidy. According to the site, there is a discount for people aged 65+, but you cannot indicate this when making an online reservation. A bit of a shame. But despite missing out on the 2 Euro discount 😉, we had a delicious meal and will be back soon.

This was the first time we came here and certainly not the last time! Very sweet lady at the cash register who explained everything to us and guided us to the table. Delicious food including wok, tepanyaki and grill. Sushi was also made and they had many other world cuisines to eat, but also bitterballen and chicken nuggets (for the fussy eaters among us) and desserts! So many desserts to dream away. First of all, spacious layout and lots of choice. Unfortunately, the food (at the buffet itself) was lukewarm and cold. Neatly indicated to the owner who suggested that we should walk faster. No second time for us. Price/quality/service is therefore very inadequate, you could have handled this differently in the service, for example with a socially friendly contact.

I definitely don't recommend it! Unfriendly staff, they constantly keep an eye on you - what you take and how much. If they think you take too much, they look at you disapprovingly. There is often little food, for example there is almost no sushi. At the end they ask you to show the receipt and check how long you have been inside. I really don't recommend this bad restaurant.

We had a great meal! The friendly owner was genuinely interested in whether everything was okay and tasty. More than enough choice, despite it being a weekday. Next time I will come back in the weekend for a 'cheese board'. The Hungarian man (sz...) who collected the plates was very friendly to the guests, great!

Delicious food! That was really perfect, lots of choice, fresh and everything hot. Regarding the service, well, upon entering you are greeted, you have to pay immediately (which I understand), and you are shown your table. And a super nice, hardworking gentleman, who continuously collects the dirty plates. And when my daughter knocked over her drink, he was there within seconds to polish it off, with a big smile!. That's great! But we didn't see anyone else from the restaurant to ask if everything was okay. The staff speaks very poor Dutch, but I don't mind that, I think friendliness is more important. The case looks neat. The only downside I think is the front part where we sat. This is a large, very high space, and with a lot of tables and guests, it makes it very uncomfortable and terribly noisy for me. This could be easily solved by placing some partitions and changing something about the acoustics. Hence 2 stars for me, for the atmosphere.

We went to the A17 with our daughter and son-in-law on March 29. The food was delicious as always. We eat there regularly; especially the baking tray with the fish dishes, delicious!!! We always go on weekends because then you don't always feel like cooking. Sometimes I read in the reviews that the food is not good. But we have never experienced this and have been going regularly for years, but only on weekends. During the week it is less almost everywhere. The price quality and quantity is good!
