Pleasant atmosphere, solid cuisine, relatively reasonable prices, attentive service, clean.

A good place for a sunset dinner with a sea view. The place is cozy. The interior decor is beautiful. The tables are well-spaced. The cuisine is local. I'm not usually a fan of Danish cuisine, but this was good. I had chicken. The bathrooms were clean. Excellent service. I think I'll be back.

We stumbled upon this place by chance and were surprised by the variety of vegan options, and that they were even listed directly on the menu. Great! The vegan oyster mushroom carpaccio bread was delicious. The cappuccino was available with oat milk, but unfortunately, there was an extra charge. The pancake (not vegan) was also delicious! We sat on the terrace with our dog. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed inside. The service was super friendly and quick. We'd love to come back :)

Nice place with attentive service and a good menu with surprising choices

We had a wonderful meal and were seated comfortably. Friendly service. Until we left, we couldn't even say goodbye, haha. Maybe we should have left a tip.

An incredibly beautiful spot to enjoy your vacation. The houses have been completely renovated this year. There's a combined living room and kitchen with direct access to the beach garden. A small bedroom with two beds, another with a 1.4m bed, a shower room, and the bunk bed can be converted into a bed for two more people. This was our fifth time here, and we'll definitely be back. The rental service is top-notch; you can truly unwind, jump into the North Sea, or walk along the promenade to the small town in about 20 minutes. There are four charging stations for electric cars in the parking lot behind the dunes, a skate park for young people, and plenty of opportunities for hiking and walking. Cycling is also fantastic. Leiden, The Hague, and Amsterdam are all easily accessible. It's a perfect place in a superb location. We highly recommend it!

A friendly birthday was celebrated with a delicious hot buffet. Well-prepared and delicious.

Excellent lunch and friendly service. The terrace isn't very large, and all the tables are screened off and covered with translucent corrugated plastic sheets. This makes it quite warm on summer days. No fresh air or breeze.

Excellent, very fast, and friendly service. Great atmosphere! The four of us had kibbeling. Twice the children's version and twice the regular. One was a shame, because the portions were practically the same, but the regular was 10 euros more expensive. And it was a shame that we thought the kibbeling came from the factory freezer. Not freshly cooked, anyway. A shame for a beach bar in Kattek.

A nice-looking beach bar, clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The beach huts are also highly recommended (we stayed in them last week). In short, we'd love to come back.

Ample parking, friendly staff, delicious food! The fish salad is especially recommended; it's generously filled and delicious.

In short: not good, not worth it. The burger was an absolute disaster. The meat wasn't cooked, I suspect it was deep-fried. It was some kind of pressed, dry stuff. The fries were so dark and dry. Nuggets and kibbeling were just as bad. Several times, they didn't ask for new drinks even though they were empty or the food was coming. When new drinks were served, the old glasses were left on the table. Definitely too expensive for the quality and service! (1 burger with fries €18) 🤷‍♂️

We eat here almost every year, including last night. It is a really nice beach bar. You always feel welcome at the owner's who runs the place with his wife and children. Beautifully situated at the mouth of the Oude Rijn. They work hard in the kitchen and the result is always great. Until next time!

Very nice beach restaurant. Friendly staff, good prices, dog friendly. I enjoyed a delicious fish salad with smoked trout, salmon and lots of shrimp.

Beautiful beach pavilion, the staff are really friendly, polite, and attentive. The food is very good, and the Texels on tap is highly recommended. We've been there several times now and have always been satisfied. Some of the staff in the immediate vicinity could learn a thing or two from their friendliness.

A King's Day you will never forget at Beach Pavilion Willy Noord in Katwijk! Tonight we celebrated King's Day with a group of nine people at the always attractive Beach Pavilion Willy Noord in Katwijk. What a wonderful experience this was from start to finish! We had chosen an extensive three-course menu and everything tasted fantastic. Every dish was freshly prepared, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. From the tasty starters to the refined main courses and the delicious desserts – you could taste the attention and love for the profession everywhere. The price-quality ratio here is really great; you get a full-fledged culinary experience without breaking the bank. What made this evening extra special was the excellent hospitality. From the moment we entered we were warmly welcomed. The atmosphere was relaxed and warm, just how you would like it during a pleasant evening by the sea. The young, enthusiastic waitressing lady deserves a special mention: she radiated pleasure in her work, was incredibly friendly, had an eye for detail and ensured that we lacked nothing. You don't find such sincere and personal service anywhere anymore! The location should also not go unmentioned: right on the beach, with the sound of the waves in the background and a beautiful sunset as a backdrop. It just doesn't get any better. In short: Beach Pavilion Willy Noord gave us a fantastic evening on King's Day. Delicious dishes, fair prices, great service and a casual atmosphere: we will definitely come back here again. An absolute must for those looking for a culinary evening out in Katwijk - whether you come as a couple or with a whole group like us. 5 stars – well deserved!

The Willy Noord Strandpaviljoen is a beautifully designed beach bar located in Katwijk aan Zee. It offers plenty of space and a lovely view of the sea. The food and drinks are both delicious and reasonably priced. For the little ones, there’s a small climbing frame – and of course, there’s sand everywhere! It’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beach atmosphere.

Great beach bar to enjoy. Friendly service, good location and… a number of vegan options including chocolate cake (tried) and an oyster mushroom carpaccio sandwich. We will come back for that again because I am very curious about that.

Delicious food and friendly service staff

Gisteren met vier personen geluncht. De keuze viel op 2x Vissalade en 2x Kibbeling met daarbij de Pinot Grigio. De Pinot was heerlijk en de Vissalade was eveneens heerlijk en voldoende. Wat betreft de Kibbeling? De bijlagen waren goed, echter de Kibbeling leek wel op te hard gefrituurde flauwe blokjes vis van Kaptein Iglo!!!!! Dit zou je niet verwachten van een plaats gelegen aan de Noordzee. Geen aanrader dus! Voor de rest was de bediening heel vriendelijk en attent.

Unfortunately, there is no alternative to cow's milk in coffee. No soy/oats etc. Not very service-oriented for people with allergies such as cow's milk allergy.

I understand that fishing boats no longer land here. But seriously: you really can't serve frozen kibbeling in Katwijk. Even the bickering of the AH is even better than this captain igloo misery.

Of course you can't say anything about the ambience - beach bar with sunset is great. Food tastes very good! But the portions are far too small and simply too expensive for these PRICES… for me “personally” it’s borderline outrageous!

Hamburger with fries and salad. Fries had been reheated for the second time and the salad was so dominated by the sauce that the salad ingredients could no longer be tasted. You had to bring in staff only concerned with the order they are currently working on. Atmosphere wasn't special either. We didn't want dessert or coffee anymore. Many development points. Current rating is heavily overrated. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

Nicely located on the beach. Very attentive and friendly staff. Food was delicious, especially the sandwich with spicy chicken. Good selection of drinks, from iced coffee to cocktails. Unfortunately no credit card payment is possible and not all German EC cards work. So bring cash and deduct a point for service.

Hier 8x een huisje gehuurd. Laatste paar keren dacht ik al: waarom kom ik hier eigenlijk nog. Overpriced huisje, beetje aftands. Valt nog overheen te komen. Maar met die eigenaar ben ik echt helemaal klaar. Onvriendelijk, nors, kijkt je niet aan dus denk autist, voelde me totaal niet welkom. Nee ga voortaan lekker naar t Wantveld. Veel leuker en vriendelijker daar!

All prices along the beach are quite high, this one was in between. However, a very good atmosphere and nice, enthusiastic service. Food was top quality.

If you find the price/quantity ratio important, you've come to the right place. Tasty large portions and cheaper than really on the other side of the drainage towards the boulevard.

Such a bad treatment. I got kicked out cause I was on the phone. I didn't scream or what, was just on the phone, while the restaurant was empty. The manager kicked me out cause he sad he could not hear the (very few) clients speaking to him. Bad experience. Won't go back. Not even a smile when you enter. He was basically probably moody

Waardeloze tent, hele nare eigenaar, durft je niet eens aan te kijken als je een klacht hebt. Kwamen hier zeer regelmatig, nu even drankje doen, glaasje wijn, twee cm., maak je een opmerking hierover, nou dat mag niet, meneer zegt dit is een normale hoeveelheid, hier is dus duidelijk het glas niet half vol, maar half leeg. Hier komen we nooit meer!!!

Dogs allowed, great Willy!! This used to not be so special, but in Katwijk it is slowly becoming scarce, we will keep coming as long as you don't change this like the neighbors. Super nice and casual relaxed service. Only a card with a few better wines than house wine would be welcome for us. But overall it was very pleasant and good.

We all enjoyed a drink in the sun on the terrace. In the sun, out of the wind, great to do. Fortunately, our dog was welcome here unlike Wantveld beach tent.

Nice beach bar with typical Dutch prices. Staff unfortunately rude. When you call the waitress, you hear: I'll be there soon, but I'm not a dog. Leather very unprofessional. Lots of room for improvement.

Met kinderen en kleinkinderen een ijsje en drankje kopen aan de bar. We werden zeer onvriendelijk geholpen en zodra we de ijsjes en dank hadden werd er slechts met enkel een gebaar duidelijk gemaakt dat we weg moesten stappen van de bar. Buiten op het terras werd er door een andere medewerker gezegd: kunnen jullie even doorlopen. Met 4 kinderen van 2 tm 6 jaar gaat dat niet zo vlot. Je kan niet tegen kinderen zeggen : geef je ijsje maar terug. Dit had ik het liefst wel gedaan en m'n 23 euro in m'n zak gehouden. Dus voor mij, : Willy Noord,nooit meer!

Heerlijk gebarbecue' t lekkere salades stokbrood' vriendelijke bediening! Verse hamburgers! Wel jammer dat ze niet goed gegaard waren. Maar al met een leuke strandtent.

Ondanks de drukte was het personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam om een plaatsje te bemachtigen. Heerlijk gegeten. Komen zeker nog eens terug. Groet vanuit de Peel.🙋‍♀️

Willy Noord heeft op een drukke stranddag een fantastische geplande bbq verzorgd voor onze reünie. Enthousiaste vriendelijke vlotte bediening, heerlijk eten en natuurlijk een top locatie. Hulde!

We had a family reunion. Everyone loved the BBQ we had incl. Veggie options.

Super service Top en lekker vers eten ( aanrader!!).

Wij dachten een fijn nieuw plekje te hebben gevonden, nu Strandhuys Katwijk weg is. Maar dit was eens maar nooit weer. Kibbeling komt gewoon uit de vriezer, zonder saus of salade. Vispotje was ook nog koud, dus ontdooit. Verder kregen we met 4 man 1 bakje friet. Ik vroeg of dat voor 4 personen is, “nee; 1 bakje per 2.” Dus ik vroeg of we er dan nog 1 mochten omdat we met 4 man waren. Stond dat bakje friet ook nog op de bon, kwamen we in de auto achter. Geen aanrader dus.
