Wings Food & Drinks in Schiphol

Nice restaurant near Schiphol Airport. We went on a Monday evening. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious.

The interior is a bit outdated, but still quite cozy. The waiters were friendly. The food was good, nothing to complain about.

However, I would like to respond to the post of Mr Pierre-Yves Balthier, we were having a nice time there until you and your group took over the whole thing with rude behavior and with no regard for anyone. You don't want these types of groups in your business. I would have personally kicked you out. Respect for the staff who had so much patience.

The food was okay but nothing special, even a bit bland. The interior could definitely use an update—sagging, faded, and worn chairs, dusty and greasy lamps, tables that have seen better days. However, it's always busy because there's nothing else nearby. It could be so much more than it is now.

After a long day at work, plumbing and electrical work as part of a kitchen prep by Rafaelektra. Enjoyed a nice drink. Friendly staff and good service. Relaxed atmosphere. Greetings from rvskeuken.

The quality of the food and service are very dependent on the crowds in the restaurant.

Cosy restaurant with excellent food (duck on picture) and very friendly service and if you are lucky, nice view on departing planes on a distance (picture with 10x zoom).

We used to eat here regularly after work, but it has become so expensive in a short time that we are now trying other options. It won't bother them, because it is always packed.

A cool atmosphere, extremely friendly service, and delicious food. We had a burger with truffle fries, a Caesar salad, and two Amstel shandys. It was delicious. We paid €54. You can sit inside or outside. We'd love to come back.

Excellent food and friendly and helpful staff.

We had to wait a long time and were being ignored. I had to stand up and ask multiple times about our food and drinks . At one point we could not take it anymore and we left Here we never more go.

I don't know why, but I didn't eat here with high expectations. I must honestly admit that I was positively surprised. I felt comfortable here and thought it was a pleasant place. There was really nothing to criticize about my hamburger, very tasty! The service was also nice and attentive.

I enjoy the Wings already for more than 10 years. Nice friendly staff, great place and the best spare ribs around! Spicy or sweet both are excellent, big portion with fries, salat and a couple of dips. Keep on going like that guys!

Food is good but service is hit and miss. We had a table for 6 at lunchtime, business lunch, place did not seem that busy, took us 2 hours from entering to leaving, so 1 hour more than we had expected. So messed our plans for the day up. No apology given for the delay in the food several tables arrived after us served before. Poor service & I would not return I understand that mistakes can happen orders can get misplaced but where was the apology, where was the on the house drinks or the discount on the bill for such poor service, it was nowhere to be found.

We had dinner here last night at this unique, beautiful historic location. Service was very friendly, the salad tasted good, on its own; The chef in the kitchen finds it necessary to put the salads in a very clumsy "bowl", which means that your cutlery constantly falls out. When you take a break from eating, you have to put the cutlery on the table or it will end up on your clothes or the floor.😠 So kitchen; Do the guests a favor and use a regular plate for salads.

Café restaurant in a somewhat hidden location at Schiphol East. It's one of the few places in this area where you can have a drink after work. After office hours you will regularly find staff from the surrounding companies here. There is an extensive drinks menu for these types of occasions, but you can also enjoy a tasty bite to eat. When the weather is nice there is a nice terrace outside.

Unfortunately, didn’t get to enjoy the food, as my husband was denied the service bcz of his “outfit”, even though he wanted to order to go the manager was extremely rude and refused to listen to him. My husband left the hotel nearby in the robe, in hurry to get us food before the place is closed, even though he just wanted to get food to go with him the manager came out and refused to listen to him and behaved extremely unpleasant. I see this behavior to be extremely unreasonably as his look wasn’t inappropriate, not parts of the body exposed, in a free and open minded country like that when a man can wear a dress if he wants I don’t see the reason for such negative attitude. We can suspect that tye manager is racist as my husband is a visible minority. 🤷‍♀️

Asked for the waiter to clear a table for us, and was told to sit at another table instead, incredibly rude staff. Woman came to clean it and was sullen, angry and unfriendly, screamed at us to ask if we want drinks, we would never, ever come here again! Incredible that people eat here with this kind of service

Love(d) coming here when I come for work trips. Felt little let down as everything good but I ask for top up of water in my cup of tea and they charge you for another tea. Same glass. Same tea bag. Just 200 ml of water. Totally wrong.

Beautiful restaurant in the old control tower at Schiphol East. Free 1.5 hour parking with blue parking disc. Schiphol East remains a special place where Schiphol once started. Beautiful view of private jet platform from restaurant. Very tasty food and friendly service. Also nice clean toilets.

Better alternative than eating at the nearby hotel ibis styles. Service friendly, but slow. The slip sole on the card was not a slip sole, but a sole from the freezer.

Absolutely enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Was greeted and helped immediately. Ordered the hamburger and chips. Will most definitely recommend this to anyone. Prices are reasonable and portions generous.

Nice place for a meeting or a bite to eat. Parking is very difficult, almost no free spaces can be found in the vicinity.

Service has gotten really bad recently

Lovely place with a view of the private planes and helicopters. You can enjoy the sunset in the glass conservatory. Meetings on the top floors also create a nice atmosphere.

Based on last experience, service is ok, but could be so much better. It really depends on who is working that day. Food is excellent as always, just a bit pricey but for Amsterdam standards still decent.

During lunch time it is useful to make a reservation, as it is different waiting at the bar for a table. The bread is fresh and crispy, good quality sandwich and eggs.

Nice meal! I had the tenderloin satay and my table companion the chicken satay. Both very tasty and tender meat. Worth repeating!

Food was tasty, appearance could be better in my opinion, and service was good, but could be a bit more alert if someone wants to order.

Today I visited Wings for the 2nd time, this time with my wife. A warm welcome and very customer-friendly service by staff. Neatly prepared brunch and had a good dinner the first time. I will come back here more often....

I went for a drink and dinner, as I stayed in an airport hotel close by and wanted to do something different than hotel restaurant, yet not in a mood to walk or ride for 20+ min. Place looks good, service was excellent and food quality well above what I would expect. I got fish trio, small side salad (even if it as not listed on a menu), Tournedos (just asked to get fries as a substitution for potato garnish). I enjoyed the food and wine I got. I found it to be a pleasant experience and very good value for money spent.

Nice staff and a cozy looking restaurant. My friend had the pumpkin soup which was really bad, not a good recommendation. The burger with fries and salad were tasty and big. Prices are fair.

Good and fun location for meetings or just a nice lunch or drink. Highly recommended for business, but personally I wouldn't necessarily choose this. The food is very good and service is also good.

A visit to Wings is always a treat. Of course the fun comes from the company you are with, but the Wings staff tops it off. Friendly, patient, etc. etc. In addition, the delicious dishes and attractive decor make a visit complete.
