Very nicely decorated, friendly staff

Had a nice meal here while staying at a nearby hotel. The food was surprisingly tasty and our waiter Mika was great, helping us pick some delicious local beers to try.

To walk in as a regular visitor at exactly 8:00 PM and then be told that the chef no longer wants to prepare a meal says it all about the hospitality, as far as I am concerned. You can, of course, hide behind the rule that orders can be placed until 8:00 PM, but then you haven't quite grasped the essence of hospitality. Hospitality isn't just about opening hours, but also about the willingness to make a customer feel welcome. It is especially unfortunate, because the other staff members are always friendly and the food is fine. Unfortunately, due to this attitude from the chef, little of that remains.

Very nice, pleasant place where you can enjoy good food and drinks. We were staying at the hotel across the street and wanted something different... and we found it at Wings... we had the chicken satay... OMG it was so delicious... and for a good price.. If we are in the area, we will definitely come back again. Because the service was fine too... even the owner was a nice man who has good taste in wines.

Wings has completely changed. New look, new menu. Had such a delicious meal. Highly recommended. Oysters were top-notch! Lobster soup, pulled duck. Affordable, friendly staff.

Long day of travelling and was looking for something else than hotel food. Menu looks great and the ambiance was there too. Waiter was welcoming & helpful......"did I care for something to drink?". I did.....a glass of water please......now in Holland they love charging you for water (from a bottle): I have issues (largely environmental) with this, so just asked for tap water. Waiter returned to tell me this was only possible if I bought another beverage with it (eg beer or wine)!! Are you kidding me? You won't give me tap water?? The Waiter was a little embarrassed & more so when I said that I was ready to order food but would only do so if I could have a glass of tap water, and that if this wasn't possible I'd go somewhere else......he said he would need to talk to the Manager....... You guessed it!! The Manager made the call: no tap water for me.......and so no revenue, margin nor profit for him!! I walked out & am now back in my hotel (the Steigenberger opposite) having an excellent feed & sipping some fine Dutch tap water!! As a Dutchman I have a serious appreciation of how we love our rules & how this love for our rules makes us, more often than I care to admit to, forget the maxim of "the customer is King"......the Manager of this establishment showed the kind of arrogant attitude which indicates his belief that his restaurant is there as a favour to his customers not there to provide food etcetera. What a joke: losing custom over a glass of water! AVOID. PS picture is not food at Wings but at my hotel opposite. Note glass of water.

I recently went for dinner at Wings Food & Drinks and I was really pleasantly surprised! What I particularly liked about this place is that they have many small dishes, allowing you to taste a nice variety of things. But the main courses are also really top-notch. My favorite dishes were the pulled duck, the corn-fed chicken, and the pasta tagliatelle — all super flavorful and well prepared. You can tell that attention is paid to the quality and presentation of the food. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, perfect for dining with friends or family. Definitely recommended if you like varied and delicious food! I will definitely be back here again 👍

Always recommended due to the historic location, but now also because of the atmosphere. Among other things, beautiful, spacious round benches have been added. Overall, a significant upgrade and a more spacious feel. The open kitchen is well-placed and really adds something: due to its position in the restaurant, but certainly also due to the quality. You have the option to order multiple smaller portions from the menu and then sample various dishes via shared dining. I tried six dishes this way and they were all delicious, with pork belly being my absolute favorite.

A very cozy restaurant/bar for dining or enjoying a beer or glass of wine. The restaurant has recently been renovated and looks very inviting! Prices are competitive, and the staff is professional and very friendly. Highly recommended!

The "new" menu is has nothing authentic, all prententious language, though nothing special. Open kitchen, so your clothes will smell terrible after visiting. Waiting times for your food too long, 45min at least. Their price setting is ABSURD. It used to be a very nice and easy going restaurant, which I enjoyed visiting for 15 years, but the current pretentious outfit is not for me.

Excellent spare ribs. Very friendly service. The owner did everything he could to retain his staff during the Covid-19 pandemic. Renovations are underway from January 17th to February 23rd, so any comments about the outdated interior will no longer apply. If you're staying in a hotel nearby, this is an excellent choice for dining. Groups are also very welcome.

Not a bad place for some grub. The vibe is very good, especially since you are next to an airport underneath the original Schiphol tower. Quality is really good and the service is proper.

Nice restaurant near Schiphol Airport. We went on a Monday evening. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious.

The interior is a bit outdated, but still quite cozy. The waiters were friendly. The food was good, nothing to complain about.

However, I would like to respond to the post of Mr Pierre-Yves Balthier, we were having a nice time there until you and your group took over the whole thing with rude behavior and with no regard for anyone. You don't want these types of groups in your business. I would have personally kicked you out. Respect for the staff who had so much patience.

The food was okay but nothing special, even a bit bland. The interior could definitely use an update—sagging, faded, and worn chairs, dusty and greasy lamps, tables that have seen better days. However, it's always busy because there's nothing else nearby. It could be so much more than it is now.

A cool atmosphere, extremely friendly service, and delicious food. We had a burger with truffle fries, a Caesar salad, and two Amstel shandys. It was delicious. We paid €54. You can sit inside or outside. We'd love to come back.

We had to wait a long time and were being ignored. I had to stand up and ask multiple times about our food and drinks . At one point we could not take it anymore and we left Here we never more go.

I don't know why, but I didn't eat here with high expectations. I must honestly admit that I was positively surprised. I felt comfortable here and thought it was a pleasant place. There was really nothing to criticize about my hamburger, very tasty! The service was also nice and attentive.

I enjoy the Wings already for more than 10 years. Nice friendly staff, great place and the best spare ribs around! Spicy or sweet both are excellent, big portion with fries, salat and a couple of dips. Keep on going like that guys!

Food is good but service is hit and miss. We had a table for 6 at lunchtime, business lunch, place did not seem that busy, took us 2 hours from entering to leaving, so 1 hour more than we had expected. So messed our plans for the day up. No apology given for the delay in the food several tables arrived after us served before. Poor service & I would not return I understand that mistakes can happen orders can get misplaced but where was the apology, where was the on the house drinks or the discount on the bill for such poor service, it was nowhere to be found.

We had dinner here last night at this unique, beautiful historic location. Service was very friendly, the salad tasted good, on its own; The chef in the kitchen finds it necessary to put the salads in a very clumsy "bowl", which means that your cutlery constantly falls out. When you take a break from eating, you have to put the cutlery on the table or it will end up on your clothes or the floor.😠 So kitchen; Do the guests a favor and use a regular plate for salads.

Café restaurant in a somewhat hidden location at Schiphol East. It's one of the few places in this area where you can have a drink after work. After office hours you will regularly find staff from the surrounding companies here. There is an extensive drinks menu for these types of occasions, but you can also enjoy a tasty bite to eat. When the weather is nice there is a nice terrace outside.

Unfortunately, didn’t get to enjoy the food, as my husband was denied the service bcz of his “outfit”, even though he wanted to order to go the manager was extremely rude and refused to listen to him. My husband left the hotel nearby in the robe, in hurry to get us food before the place is closed, even though he just wanted to get food to go with him the manager came out and refused to listen to him and behaved extremely unpleasant. I see this behavior to be extremely unreasonably as his look wasn’t inappropriate, not parts of the body exposed, in a free and open minded country like that when a man can wear a dress if he wants I don’t see the reason for such negative attitude. We can suspect that tye manager is racist as my husband is a visible minority. 🤷‍♀️

Asked for the waiter to clear a table for us, and was told to sit at another table instead, incredibly rude staff. Woman came to clean it and was sullen, angry and unfriendly, screamed at us to ask if we want drinks, we would never, ever come here again! Incredible that people eat here with this kind of service

Love(d) coming here when I come for work trips. Felt little let down as everything good but I ask for top up of water in my cup of tea and they charge you for another tea. Same glass. Same tea bag. Just 200 ml of water. Totally wrong.

Beautiful restaurant in the old control tower at Schiphol East. Free 1.5 hour parking with blue parking disc. Schiphol East remains a special place where Schiphol once started. Beautiful view of private jet platform from restaurant. Very tasty food and friendly service. Also nice clean toilets.

Better alternative than eating at the nearby hotel ibis styles. Service friendly, but slow. The slip sole on the card was not a slip sole, but a sole from the freezer.

Nice place for a meeting or a bite to eat. Parking is very difficult, almost no free spaces can be found in the vicinity.

Lovely place with a view of the private planes and helicopters. You can enjoy the sunset in the glass conservatory. Meetings on the top floors also create a nice atmosphere.

Based on last experience, service is ok, but could be so much better. It really depends on who is working that day. Food is excellent as always, just a bit pricey but for Amsterdam standards still decent.

During lunch time it is useful to make a reservation, as it is different waiting at the bar for a table. The bread is fresh and crispy, good quality sandwich and eggs.
