Wok de Molen in Wijk 00 Heumen

It wasn't our first time here, but this is definitely our last!!! It gets worse every time. The restaurant is filthy and disgusting. The food is way too salty. The griddle dishes are inedible. It used to be much better. Lots of people complain about it. This new chef... oh well. We won't be coming back. We'd rather pay a few euros more and eat somewhere else.

The food is delicious, the soup and dishes in the trays are good, the chocolate fountains are lovely, and the desserts are delicious. Except for the steak, which was really tough. Several people complained about it, but no one says anything to the staff, so the problem persists, and that's why more and more people are eating elsewhere. It used to be better, though.

Last Saturday we had a delicious wok at Wok de Molen, in our opinion (my wife and I) one of the better Wok restaurants in the region at the moment. The choice of what you want to eat is more than enough and the sauces with the wok are also very tasty. The staff is always friendly and the price for all in is also very reasonable (35 euros) the only 2 disadvantages are the parking lot which is very small and you usually have to park your car somewhere else. and the cook when baking does not quite understand how to do done. So if you are looking for a good wok restaurant then you have found it right away!

The restaurant ticks a lot of boxes. There's a bit of everything, from various appetizers and entrées to main courses and desserts...plenty of choices. You really get your money's worth. A lot of it is buffet-style. However, it's quite crowded, a few hundred people. You don't have to wait anywhere, but it's definitely a lot of people. The service is excellent, and there's a friendly Santa Claus 👍🏻

We had a delicious and cozy all-inclusive meal. I went for my birthday, as we arrived early and had to wait for our children. We ordered two cappuccinos. I had to pay for them separately, which wasn't a problem, although I thought it was strange because we had the drinks with us, but later on the bill, the cappuccinos were included. I found that confusing. The restaurant is neat and clean.

A busy and noisy restaurant that, in my opinion, could use a bit more ambiance in terms of decor and such. There's a play area for the kids. A great selection of wok and grilled dishes. Fresh ingredients and good flavor, but nothing too special. The grilled sole is highly recommended! There's also a wide selection of buffet dishes. The dessert buffet is a bit less extensive than the dinner buffet, but there's still plenty of choice. It was a bit crowded with kids touching everything with their fingers (but that's more the parents' fault, haha). I especially loved the ice cream. The restroom could be a bit cleaner. Super friendly and efficient staff!

We had another delicious meal! They're currently offering a discount on a few Fridays, going from €31.90 to €26.90, which is a saving of €10 for two people. The food was delicious again, with a wide selection at the sushi bar and, of course, some stir-frying. The buffet was also excellent! Lots of people with children were there, so it was great to see the kids having a good time and enjoying their food (and snacks) 😀.

We've visited several wok restaurants throughout the Netherlands, and we can confidently say that Wok de Molen is the best of them all. The food is very varied, more so than other wok restaurants, always delicious. There's a great sushi bar with freshly made sushi, the prices are very low, and the staff are incredibly hospitable, professional, and friendly. They even speak a little Bahasa Indonesia, haha, amazing! In short, if you visit this restaurant, I guarantee you'll keep coming back. After a long time, we returned here twice this week and were very pleasantly surprised. The food has really improved, as has the service, which is good. We sat in the back, and last time we sat in the front, and I usually find the noise (acoustics) less pleasant there. Because of the large groups or small children, there's a lot of noise around us, sometimes it's difficult to talk. But maybe that won't be the case next time.

What dry and old food, only served once, but thanks, yuck, yuck. The chocolate fountain was out, oh, disgusting, clean that mess up. It looked like the food was from the day before. What a disgusting, smelly play area! The inspection service should look into it. Two old shopping carts were used as entrances for children. Loose ceiling panels. Peeling wallpaper. Mold from a leak. (I brought in a young lady who said children throw plastic balls at loose panels.) My answer was, "If something falls down, it'll be fine," but she kept going. The worst part was above the fresh meat for the wok. There's some kind of old air conditioner with a dirty piece of cloth stuffed inside it; the dust just swirls down. Really gross!!

Delicious Asian food Wok de Molen Malden is a great restaurant where you can enjoy delicious Asian food. A fantastic buffet, where everyone can find something to their liking. The wok cooking is also well-organized; you make your selection at the buffet, hand over your plate, choose your sauce, and when everything is ready, you get a new plate with delicious dishes. The atmosphere and service are also excellent, and the staff are very welcoming. The dessert selection is very extensive, with various types of ice cream and a chocolate fountain. Fruit, whipped cream, various dips. A selection of pastries—in short, simply delicious. So, Wok de Molen Malden is highly recommended!!!

My wife and I have been coming here for ages. Yesterday, I went again. I have to say, this is the best in Nijmegen. The staff is friendly, and the chefs prepare the food with love. The prices are really good. You'll leave with a full stomach in no time, and it's consistently good. We've tried several restaurants. But this one is so good, and the food quality is a real 9.5. I don't often leave reviews, but after yesterday, I finally did. The great thing is that if you have a complaint, they immediately take action. Booking was easy and smooth. We also received a polite reminder. The welcome at the restaurant was also very polite and correct, as was the explanation of their concept and how everything works. We had a delicious meal yesterday. The blonde girl from Roermond who served us was very helpful and had a lovely chat. We felt completely at home. Oh, and that girl really surprised me because she heard it was my birthday and suddenly brought a lit candle with some desserts. Haha, I was amazed. She also told me to mention my birthday when I paid. In the end, we ate and drank all evening for 10 euros, hahaha, and even got a nice scarf. Thank you so much for your care, girl.

It is always super well organized here. Drinks bought off. And super fast service when you are thirsty. Freshly made sushi. And all that for a very small price. Unmatched in the area in terms of price/quality ratio.

Today we celebrated my parents' Golden Wedding at Wok de Molen in Malden. We went there for dinner with 80 people and it was perfectly organised. The owner is a very friendly, eloquent and involved person. He thought along well in the preparation and was very clear in making rules and agreements. He kept all agreements and there were no extra costs afterwards or anything. The service was fantastic. Nice and skilled young people with a fresh and friendly appearance. We are very satisfied with Wok de Molen in Malden. Partly because of them, this day has become an unforgettable day for my parents!

The food was fine. Quite a bit of choice. Some things could have been a bit warmer and the fries were really not tasty.

You can really eat deliciously here. The beef skewers from the bbq are very tasty, the delicious prawns with meat from the teppanyaki plate. Lots of choice for wokking. Delicious fresh sushi and much more. Very spacious dessert corner with various desserts, cookies, ice cream, fruit, water ice, chocolate fountains. Good system with clothes pegs when you order something at the bbq or the teppanyaki plate, the prepared food is served at the table. Friendly and fast service. Handy with turning the table lamp if you have a question for the service. Dirty plates are quickly cleared. There are neat spacious toilets.

Delicious food again! The new sushi bar had very tasty sushi. And there was enough of everything to eat. Empty plates were picked up quickly. And staff was very nice especially the younger blond boy and the older man. We had table 2 on this side of the restaurant which is very quiet, we have also sat at the back where it is noisier. Grote keuze aan kant klaar gerechten voor iedere smaak is er wel wat te vinden. Tepanyaki en BBQ en wok. Alles van goede kwaliteit. Ook de toetjes hoek is van alles voorzien. Chocoladefontein enz. Wat ons op viel dat bij dit restaurant en dan met name het wokken. De wok sauzen waren van één uitmuntende smaak. Wij hebben al bij veel wok restaurants, in binnen en buitenland, gegeten maar deze woksauzen zijn zeker bijzonder te noemen. Als wij hier ooit nog eens in de buurt komen dan zullen we zeker hier nog eens naartoe gaan. Zeer vriendelijk personeel/bediening .

Really fantastic; lots of fresh sushi and an impossibly large choice of food. Lots of containers full of delicious food, such as kangaroo beef, lamb chops, New Zealand mussels and prawns. Excellent dessert bar, with even a soft ice cream and whipped cream machine, 8 types of ice cream, churros, lots of small desserts and 3x chocolate fountain. Staff is friendly, fast and involved. Even the music was good and not too loud. Very handy, turning the light over! 👍
