Wok-Inn Amsterdam in Burgwallen-Oude Zijde

After weeks of traveling across Europe, this was hands down the best Asian food we’ve had. Absolutely hit the spot when we were craving something comforting and flavorful. Huge thanks to Mahmoud for the warm and kind welcome — your wok skills are truly impressive! 🤩 P.S : I HIGHLY recommend the Thai coconut curry sauce with fried rice!

I had fried rice with chicken and teriyaki sauce. It came with a variety of vegetables and cost €13. The rice was fluffy and the portion was generous, and it was delicious. It was served in a paper box, and you could take it out or eat it in the restaurant.

I went there a couple of times. It's such a great place There are no words to describe how fresh and clean the food is that they serve, and the prices are good. Although it has a lovely atmosphere, people just keep coming.

The food was okay, I've had much better food for that price. It also arrived quite late, taking about 20 minutes for just a wok and a portion of spring rolls. I also bought a bubble tea afterward, which was terrible. WAY TOO sweet, didn't even taste like passion fruit, and definitely not worth €5!

Honestly, I 100% recommend this restaurant, they are so nice and I highly recommend it, plus it's halal.

I would say this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The food they served was absolutely not worth the price, and the way they treated customers was extremely disappointing. The portions were so small that they wouldn’t even be enough for a child. I would never recommend this restaurant—both the service and the food were far below expectations and not worth trying at all.

I recently tried the Tandoori Mix Fried Rice, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the dish was cooked to perfection. A special thanks to Chef Tanvir for preparing such an amazing meal — I highly recommend him to other guests for a wonderful dining experience.

as an asian, the food tastes bad –too salty for no 7 and too sweet for no 6. im not usually picky, but we couldn't even finish them. i have no idea what they put in there and also they are expensive too.

When you're hungry, the place is alright. The food is decent, though some dishes are a bit too salty. However, what really brought the rating down was the pricing. When you customize your dish, you calculate the end price based on the prices shown on the menu. But then they add "Chinese Veg" for €2.50 without informing you – a rip-off. That left us frustrated, and we wouldn’t recommend the place. Honestly, they could just update the base price and it would be fine.

This place was a pleasant surprise. It’s a fusion between Asian cuisine and the flavors typical of kebab-style cooking (probably Turkish or Middle Eastern). The combination is unique and super tasty. The food took a little while to be served, but it was definitely worth the wait. Everything was well-prepared and full of flavor. I’d absolutely come back.

I highly recommend this place! The noodles, with a spicy peanut sauce and a few other ingredients, are really good! The Spanish chili in them surprised me... It was quite spicy - wow. Overall, it was a little dry - but still recommended. A little more friendliness would have been nice. In any case, I would definitely come back!

Absolutely superior service! I got the Japan udon beef teriyaki and my friend had beef teriyaki rice. Honestly I liked her rice better than my noodles but the noodles was hitting as well. 10 out of 10 recommend. Also make sure to try the lemon Fanta, just delicious.

You don't get what you ask for, if you order a shrimp deluxe you get a bowl of noodles with chicken and steak. If I wanted a bowl of noodles with chicken and steak I would have ordered that. Also waited 2 hours. Also bland. From now on I'll just go back to the toko.

It's solid and dependable. It's not life changing, but it's perfect for soaking up drinks. This shop’s lower floor is tiny, but they’ve got seating on the second floor. Friendly service, credit cards accepted.
