Yasai Wok in Middenmeer

I definitely eat here every week, friendly guys. The best wok in Amsterdam.

Beware of this place. Placed an order via the website. Waited for hours, called; what turned out? They are closed due to vacation. It wasn't on the site. To this day, I still haven't received my money back (approximately €40). They can accept orders while on vacation, but refunding money? Forget it. I was a regular customer, but they have lost me.

I arrived around 23:00, when almost everything else was closed, and it wasn’t too crowded. I ordered the royal shrimp with noodles, which was better than expected. Nothing out of the ordinary, but it was a pleasant meal after a long day. The portion was reasonable, I could share some with my partner and still feel satisfied. The staff were friendly. The only downside was that some tables were a bit dirty and the couch felt kind of sticky.

I ordered onliine through Ubereats and the restaurant supposed to deliver. I waited and i called several times and each time the answer “what can we do for you, you are not patient “! Now it is more than 3 hours and the delivery still did not come and the restaurant is closed! Never order or eat from this restaurant. Never trust them!

You order and have to call them to say that you have ordered. I have ordered here 3 times. 3 times I called them to ask where the food is.

A plate of fried noodles cost €17, which I think is quite expensive even in Amsterdam. Also, I waited an incredibly long time. I was the only customer there, but people who arrived before me finished their orders first, and I waited forty minutes, causing me to miss my train. The service was also mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it.

Ordered the beef special to share between my friend and I, it was delicious. The server was incredibly nice and patient with us when we could decide on a sauce. Good price and good portions. Highly recommended the house sauce. (It’s more of a 4.5 stars overall, wish I could do half stars.)

We arrived Friday at 2:30 (after closing time) and were still helped. The fryer was plugged back in, and the fun could begin. Very friendly staff and delicious hot wings! My sister-in-law thought they were the best hot wings she'd ever had, and my friend, who's actually vegetarian, ate three and thoroughly enjoyed them. Highly recommended!

If I pay €18 for those royal shrimp, you should at least expect no bits of plastic in your food. I've been eating here for a while now, with minor irritations when ordering (little shrimp when you pay extra), but this is the last straw. It doesn't even seem busy. I was literally the only customer in the store; it didn't even look like she'd ordered online. I'm sticking with 3 stars because I don't envy people, but here goes.

I placed an order through Thuisbezorgd at around 11:40 PM, and I’m still waiting for the food – it never arrived. No updates, no communication, nothing. I tried to contact the restaurant directly (Yasai Wok), only to find out they were already closed, even though they were showing as open on the platform. It’s now past 2:00 AM, and I’ve had to order from somewhere else because I’m still starving. The lack of professionalism and reliability is shocking. I’m leaving this review so others don’t go through the same mess. If you’re hungry, do yourself a favour and avoid ordering from here

Wok was tasty. Only the chicken satay on sticks is definitely not recommended. Chicken fried for too long causing dry and partially burnt pieces.

I just placed an order but it took 2.5 hours for my food to finally arrive. Unfortunately it was cold and tasted of nothing. This was a big disappointment; I expected much more. Unfortunately, that expectation was not met.

Ordered at 10:00 PM, received nothing at 11:30 PM and called to ask if it would still arrive: the order was on its way. We have enjoyed ordering from Yasai for years and find the wok dishes very tasty. Unfortunately, it appears that we are no longer able to order because the distance is too far. We live 2km away, which doesn't seem too far to me. What is this based on and can it be adjusted?

Waited for half an hour before the meal was served. The fried rice and fried noodles were sweet and very salty and couldn't be finished. I’m a bit worried about putting take-out food in plastic boxes for high-temperature cooking.

Workers are really nice but the food is bad. It's not asian the flavors are weird and feel artificial. we ordered 4 dishes and wait more than 20 min I was quite disappointed I got some weird rice with tomato sauce that felt like ketchup

Great experience with Yasaiwok today! They called us within 5 minutes of ordering because they were out of hot wings. It's really great how friendly and neatly they solved it. And the food was very tasty! Highly recommended.

Very good noodle bowl for accessible price, varied options including vegan ones, nice and cozy.

Ordered via thuisbezorgd, order arrived after 2 hours Called them after 1.5 hour and they said it will arrive in 10-15 minutes but still only arrived 30 minutes later.

Every time I order food it comes sooner than expected. Food is super tasty and the portions are good too. It's on my favorite list.

Niet verwacht van een ‘reguliere wokstekkie’. De prijzen vallen mee (grote porties) en de al samengestelde wok die je kunt kiezen zijn echt absoluut prijswinnaars. Ze zijn gemiddeld duurder dan andere plekkies, maar zoals eerder vermeld: zeker de prijs waard. De prijs/kwaliteit is zeker goed en de smaken zijn top. Ik vind het jammer dat zij niet de standaard kunnen zijn. Deze locatie is 252x beter dan wok to walk en soort gelijke bedrijfjes. Tevens ook halal❤️

Normaal gesproken laat ik geen review achter, maar dit is het 100% waard. Tot 2x toe hier eten afgehaald en wat vonden we het lekker! Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk en maakt deze tent helemaal af. Een aanrader en we gaan vaker komen!

I order from yasai at least once a month, literally the best wok take-out you can get in Oost. Udon noodles are my favourite with Yasai sauce, definitely try it when you're there!!! Also customer service is 10/10, they always call me if the have any shortages which is very nice 👍🏼

Als liefhebber van lekker eten kan ik de eettent yasai wok van harte aanbevelen. Dit kleine restaurantje is een verborgen parel in de stad en biedt heerlijk eten tegen een redelijke prijs. Het eerste wat opvalt bij binnenkomst is de gezellige sfeer. Het interieur is eenvoudig maar knus, met comfortabele stoelen en kleurrijke decoraties aan de muur. De bediening is uiterst vriendelijk en gastvrij, en zorgt ervoor dat je je meteen thuis voelt. Maar het belangrijkste is natuurlijk het eten, en daar stelt yasai wok zeker niet teleur. De menukaart biedt een goede mix van klassieke gerechten en creatieve variaties, allemaal bereid met verse ingrediënten van hoge kwaliteit.

Heerlijke verse wok gegeten! , nog even gebeld naar het restaurant voor advies over de wok saus. Zeer vriendelijke personeel aan de lijn. En de home Made saus was uiteindelijk de beste advies! En keuze Hier gaan we vaak bestellen houden zo

Came here for dinner and was very happy with my experience. The worker was very helpful and translated everything in English for us. The food was amazing. Probably one of the best woks Ive had.

Gister heerlijk gegeten bij Yasai wok. Het was heerlijk en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Overigens was het personeel heel vriendelijk en was de service top! Zeker een dikke aanrader.

Yesterday was the first time I ordered from Yasai Wok. The food arrived according to the time it was indicated to come and it surely was delicious; I enjoyed every single bite. But, prior to the feast -whilst opening the neatly secured bag the food was transported in- I realized that part of my order didn't arrive. After calling Yasai Wok to get inside information on this mysterious case, it became clear what happened. The item in question was out of stock and the team forgot to inform. Could happen, I'd say. There might always be bumps in the road, but if you learn how to ride your vehicle like a true Dakar chauffeur, there's no sand drift you can't drift on. What I mean to say is: how you solve it, is what really matters! And, Yasai Wok solved it in the most beautiful way possible. They delivered another dish for free. That shows real character, if you'd ask me! I would recommend Yasai Wok to everyone, especially those who like wok and trustable employees. And for myself; 10/10 would order again.

Vanavond hier gegeten met mijn hele gezin. Was echt top! Voor ieder wat wils. Lekker warm, rijkelijk gevuld, goed van smaak en kregen een grote portie voor wat wij betaald hebben. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Absoluut een aanrader! Dit wordt ons vaste stekkie 👌.

Ik heb hier gisteravond besteld en wat was het eten heerlijk! Na de recensies te lezen, komen dit niet overeen met mijn ervaring van gisteravond. Ook was de service super goed! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
