Too bad that they were already filling the too good to go containers an hour before closing, while there were still people inside

Empty dishes. Disinterested, sloppily dressed staff. One young man was very friendly.

Longtime Hardenberg resident and the Wok has been there for years, but unbelievable, how much this place has deteriorated. A bleak existence. Half the food is cold, clearly reheated and reused, drinks are served from cartons instead of bottles, and the refills are bizarrely poor. The Wok has lost its glory and has seen better days.

Unfortunately, it's not as good as it used to be. The duck is now cut into small pieces and is completely dry and tough. The chocolate from the chocolate fountain was so diluted it was transparent. The fried dough pastries were better in the past. Beer is again included in the hefty price of 42 euros, but you always have to go to the front to get it. It's still available, but it tasted better before.

You can also pick up food here, we do that regularly and then you get so much that you still have enough for the next day

The food is mediocre. Nothing special, not very tasty, lukewarm, but it's edible. The staff was very friendly, and the food was refilled frequently. Overall, this is way too expensive. For this price, there are much better restaurants.

The food was mediocre, often reheated, and the ice cream was bad, having been frozen too often. Several types were covered in ice crystals. We had a reservation until 9:45 PM. The service started at 9:15 PM. Even the coffee machine was clean by 9:30 PM. We've eaten here before, but the quality is deteriorating rapidly. Several people experienced stomach problems after eating.

We've never had such a bad meal: you have to pour drinks from cartons instead of bottles (how long has it been sitting there?). Never before have we seen such a meager selection of cold appetizers, pizzas come straight from a store-brand supermarket carton, the toppings next to the soups aren't clear, and the herb butter looks awful. And besides, you're sitting in a cafeteria-like space. A real waste of money, considering we were gone within 40 minutes. Such a shame!

Always delicious food at Wok-inn Hardenberg. Excellent value for money. Delicious fresh dishes from the grill and griddle. The sushi is highly recommended. Also very suitable for larger groups, plenty of choice for everyone.

We had a lovely dinner tonight at the Wok Inn in Hardenberg. Everything was excellent and we'll definitely be back.

We were helped quickly and shown to a table. We wanted to sit somewhere else, and that wasn't a problem. Plates and other items were collected quickly. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing, and several times we had cold food on our plates (even though it came from heated trays), and the taste was also very bland and not very good. My friend did enjoy the grilled meat. The restrooms looked clean, but your shoes stuck to the floor. Unfortunately, we won't be back.

Simply awful. I've never seen meat and fish cooked together on the same plate. So much oil is used for frying, and then there's sauce added when serving, leaving everything swimming in oil/sauce, so to speak. Very unusual. I also confronted them about it, saying, "What are you doing? 😅" Salmon-flavored pork chop, for example. You have to like it. Everything else was mediocre. The wok, the food you could grab, was often gone. Sushi was bone dry or very sticky. Just a 1. Not satisfied.

We're from Heerhugowaard and have already eaten here twice. The people are super friendly, everything is constantly being replenished, and there's a play area for the kids. I give it a solid 5 stars ⭐️

There were four of us there, and two of us vomited during the night. It felt like the food had been sitting in the warming trays for ages.

We arrived around 6:15 PM. At the Bali restaurant, they made me wait even though they saw me. When I was about to turn around to leave, someone quickly came to me. This was our first time here. We were dropped at a table, no explanation, nothing. The buffet trays were empty. The food was old. What was really unfortunate was that the sushi was old, the rice was sticky and gluey, the chicken was so pulverized that it fell apart as soon as you touched the sushi, and the wasabi had no flavor. The refills were very meager. We got raw chicken. The chefs didn't know what they were doing. There was always someone looking and stirring the pans when there was nothing in them, like, "Should I refill it or not?" We had some bami with babi pangang, and that was about it. There were plenty of fries and frikandels. We paid €80 for the two of us, which I thought was quite a lot for what you got. They had scant, old stuff, and very little, far too little. Not for us again. I've never eaten so poorly in my restaurant career.

Hopefully this way it works out, we went here for dinner on May 25th from 4:45 pm to 6:45 pm, that evening there was another family with a 4 year old girl, her name was Suus, now 2 months later our daughter still talks about Suus, that she misses Suus so much and that she would like to see Suus again, they played together all that evening, making a lot of noise 😁 we ate together at the table after using the toilet, it was so much fun those two together

We've been to several wok restaurants, but this is by far the worst! First of all, it's quite expensive, there's very little selection compared to other wok restaurants, and some dishes look like they came straight from Aldi! There were six of us, and we left after an hour. The service itself is fine, but the atmosphere, on the other hand, is crammed full, even though it wasn't busy. We were very disappointed and won't be back. The price-quality ratio is very poor!

Our reservation for 8 people at Wok Hardenberg was a huge disappointment. Upon arrival, we discovered that the prices had suddenly increased compared to what was stated on the website. The quality of the food was far from what we expected. The dishes weren't served at the correct temperature, which seriously affected the taste and overall experience. Furthermore, the customer service was subpar. The staff were unfriendly and didn't seem to understand what customers needed. The fact that very little Dutch was spoken made communication very difficult. Everything had to be done in sign language, and if you wanted to express your dissatisfaction, you could only do so in broken English. All in all, I cannot recommend Wok Hardenberg. This experience has convinced me never to return.

A neat location and good service, food was good and delivered quickly after ordering, friendly staff

During our holidays in Hardenberg we have been to this "Wok Restaurant" more often "as a family". With a group the "All you can eat concept" is fun, cozy and tasty. When I go out for dinner as a single, I usually use a cheaper dinner budget. The staff is nice and helpful.

I’ve been here before, but last night took the cake. The food itself was fine—nothing to write home about, but no food poisoning either—so that’s worth something. But the atmosphere? It was like someone had just put on “Ave Maria” in slow motion. Seriously, I’ve been to more cheerful funerals. Even my fries seemed to be in mourning. If you like silence, awkward stares, and the feeling that you’ve accidentally walked into a meditation class, this is your place. Otherwise, I’d say take your food home and save yourself the internal funeral procession.

We went here yesterday with 7 people. We had made a reservation at 6:30. The reservation went fine and the first impression seemed good. The price for the wok also seemed fine, but we soon found out that the price was actually too expensive for this restaurant. The wok and the teppanyaki tasted great. They didn't really put anything on the grill. There was only 1 person at both the wok and the plate, if they were a bit faster that would be fine. But it really took 20 to 30 minutes at a time at the plate and the wok also took quite a long time. Starters were disappointing. Sushi was not refilled. The steaks were already gone by 7 p.m. At one point there was little meat left. The staff only refilled the ice cream. Herb butter etc. had been reused. We have been to many wok and/or world restaurants, but this was truly the worst we have ever visited. They prefer that you eat ice cream and chips and frikandellen because that was refilled. The play area for the children was clearly old, dirty and broken but the children still played there for a while and enjoyed themselves. The toilet had a very bad smell and there too the soap was already gone at half past six and it was not replenished. If you like to stuff yourself with junk then this is a great place but a nice meal out is not possible here. We prefer to go to Omnia in Drachten. It is €10 more expensive but the quality is really great. Everything is replenished there and it is super neat with a great play area.

A large, spacious restaurant, where it was very quiet today, but I can imagine that it is full during holiday periods. This may have been the reason why the dishes in the buffet, which were already ready, looked like this. Herb butter that had clearly been melted and re-chilled, mayonnaise that had a strange texture and a chicken soup that had a cloudy appearance and a thick skin on it, as if it had been kept warm unused for a long time. The dishes for the wok, grill or tepanyaki, on the other hand, looked wonderfully fresh and were also deliciously prepared. Because you are standing here, you know exactly what happened to it. Unfortunately, our youngest spit it all out again at the end of the meal. Combination of too tired, too busy, too much together? Well, it can happen. But we were asked to clean this up ourselves, with... Napkins and wipes. Sorry, that's just too bizarre for words. We are not afraid to make it neat again ourselves, but just provide us with a bucket of soapy water and a large cloth. You wonder what they clean themselves with. Now I also think, that pungent smell in the toilet... Could that be the reason? I doubt we'll be going back here anytime soon.

I really don't understand some of the reviews below. We've been coming here for years. Food is always good and if there is something wrong with it you just have to ask the staff and they will solve it. There's nothing wrong with the grill, griddle and wok. My children also like to come here and enjoy the desserts.

We went here to have a nice meal, but unfortunately we were very disappointed. Let's start with the atmosphere. There was no background music to be heard and regardless of the number of visitors there was a very quiet, boring atmosphere. Then the food. The buffet had very little taste in everything and even among the chefs the only thing that had at least some taste was at the wok. Even the desserts were very disappointing in taste. Smurf ice cream? More like toothpaste ice cream. Me and my girlfriend both suffered from stomach ache and that was not due to the amount of food as we left the tent still hungry. In any case, we will no longer visit this.

Yes, what can I say? In any case, we won't go again. Have now given it a chance twice (2 years apart) but not really improved. To start with the price, in my opinion it is far too expensive, considering the quality. Maybe not, given the amount you can grab, but that's not what I'm here for. But maybe I'm in the wrong restaurant. All you can eat. I'd rather pay for quality than quantity. There is still room for improvement here. A lot of food tastes cheap and doesn't really invite me to eat it again. Although the prawns were okay. Also had the feeling that the tenderloin (or was it just better steak?) was of better quality than last time. I liked the wok sauces by the way, plenty of choice. I think the atmosphere is mediocre, it's okay, but nothing more. The toilets were very dirty, too bad. Only came there to wash my hands. Staff changes quite a bit, one is very enthusiastic and the other would rather go home. The chefs seem to work hard, but do they really feel like it? But, a good place if you want to eat a lot and are more likely to settle for lower quality. Otherwise there are better restaurants in the immediate area 😄

While eating we found a whole piece of plastic in our carpaccio, when we pointed this out we received a soft 'sorry', which we could hardly hear, from a waitress who looked like she wanted to go home. the food was often just cold or undercooked and there was little to choose from. the staff gapes at you when you ask something and are extremely unprofessional. and that for 39 euros pp. please don't spend your money on this people.

Children don't even like the fries. After our story, fries were taken from upstairs to compensate so that we don't have to make anything at home for us, never again.

We had been here twice before. We no longer really had an idea of ​​what the quality was as it was years ago. I saw in my old review that I had given 3 stars, so I lowered it to 2. The soup was good! At the cold buffet things became less so, the stuffed eggs were simply eggs that tasted like they had been wax cooked a long time ago and kept in a refrigerator. The mackerel was so salty that neither of us ate it. Ordered something on the grill, the friend's steak was given away to someone who ordered later, I had steak and ribeye, which are both beef, if you want your ribeye nice and tender then you grill it briefly, at least for less time than a steak . This chef de grill baked them completely through and through so that they no longer had any taste and you could use them to provide your shoe with a new sole. There were some fries that were limp and yellow and apparently came from an air fryer without being ready yet. The fristap comes out fresh without any sting. At tap there are only problems with the wine. Many bins were empty so you couldn't make the choice you wanted. In any case, it won't be necessary for us again. I actually wanted to give 1 star, but then I know that the review will not be posted, but it is certainly worth it...

Not a cozy restaurant, more of a canteen. The poinsettias are still hanging there, one of which was even burning. Toilets very dirty. Play area for the children is nothing. Soft drinks from a vending machine. Soda bottles not cold. Juices from a carton and water from bottles that were already open. Seen that the chefs also use these bottles to refill their glasses. Never again for us. The food was unappetizing, the containers of dishes were lukewarm, baguette was still dripping with fat, the same music played in the background for hours, which just started again after 30 seconds. And raw meat in the wok where the discolouration was already clearly visible. All in all worth 1 star and never again for us.

Went on Wednesday September 18th and it was delicious... also a steak on the grill is carefully cooked with delicious garlic. Food was good and hot. The containers that were (almost) empty were also refilled. We will definitely come back here.

A typical food bar like most wok restaurants in the Netherlands: Look for the spoons without food remains. Standing in line behind five-year-olds who all pick up the same ice cream scoop before it's your turn. Ale flavors of ice cream mixed together in the ice cream bins by the aforementioned snot children. Families pretending to be at home and littering the floor with leftover food that you can then step over to get to your table. Get beer with coins, as if you were at a festival. And last year's Christmas lights complete it all. If you leave the decorations up long enough, you won't have to work on them the following year. Oh yes, and don't forget the dilapidated playground equipment outside. This apparently appeared to be out of use, because it was partly disassembled and dangerous parts of metal were protruding. There was no barrier tape or fences anywhere to be seen, waiting for an accident... In summary: Food - As you know the wok, except for the terrible ice cream experience Service - Which one? Atmosphere - Christmas lights from last year

We thought the food was bad and not tasty. More expensive until bins were replenished. Hot dishes were lukewarm/cold, drinks were not properly cooled in the refrigerator and we had to serve them from packages (not hygienic, because you don't know how long a package has been open). Many packs were returned empty to the refrigerator. Ice was also not properly cooled, had not yet melted. Herb butter had melted and was floating in juice. Shusi grabs were lying on the shusi and covered in dirt. Not much choice for an all you can eat. We thought it was very bad and will never come there again. Sorry for the bad review, but maybe the restaurant can do something with it and improve points. What they did do quickly was clear the tables. That's the only plus unfortunately. I don't recommend others to eat here.
