We went twice during our vacation. The first time we had an iced coffee and a beer in the afternoon; we saw their nice lunch concept then and decided to have lunch there a few days later. The concept involves ordering 3 or 4 small dishes of your choice, and it is highly recommended!

Truly superb, highly refined cuisine I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Thanks to the chef for the excellent food and for the wonderful time spent here.

I've been to this bar/restaurant several times now and it's always a pleasure. The food is excellent and the beer selection (we had the high wine/beer) is incredible! A quality establishment that I highly recommend. I'll be back again and again.

I went for a high beer / high wine with friends. The first thing that struck me was that the beer selection is huge; what a choice of different beers I haven't experienced often (I think there were about 80 different ones), and with the wine, about 10. In addition, the dishes and the snack platter were absolutely superb. They certainly didn't skimp on that. The service was also top-notch and friendly. So, all in all, a great place to go; it's value for money!

We came to visit our friends in Hardenberg and stopped by for drinks. The cook prepared some fantastic, delicious dishes worthy of French cuisine! It was very impressive; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Well done! She and the friendly staff were also very helpful.

We ate with 4 people: appetizers beforehand, tasty beers, fish as the main course, and passion fruit scroppino and brownie for dessert. 190 euros. The wine was good too! Intensely friendly and good service; what a breath of fresh air compared to the Randstad where we live. The toilets were very clean and spacious. The interior of the cafe/restaurant is cozy and resembles a traditional pub. We are a little bit in love with Overijssel! Thank you for this lovely evening on the terrace.

This is so nice. All kinds of small dishes on the menu, and delicious dishes at that. They are nicely presented on a board.

Last Saturday we had a High Beer at Den Herdenbergher. We enjoyed it immensely! They have some lovely beers on the menu from which you can choose four yourself. You get surprisingly beautiful small dishes to accompany them, both hot and cold. Definitely worth it. The service was also excellent and very friendly. The price-performance ratio is outstanding. We will definitely be back!

It was a bit dark there now and not busy. The dining concept and the taste, quality, and price are fantastic. We were there for lunch with 4 adults and 3 small children, and everyone enjoyed it. Outside there is a large terrace and a children's play area.

We had an incredibly delicious meal, the menu of the week (veal escalope with mushroom sauce and the sea bass with prawns). Compliments to the kitchen!

We come here regularly and love it; the atmosphere inside is cozy, warm, and inviting. The terrace is spacious, with comfortable chairs and is semi-covered. The cuisine is amazing; you eat refined yet generous meals here for reasonable prices. Lunch is superb; tapas-style. The staff is super friendly and always up for a joke. Good wines 🥂

Very friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. We both ordered the tenderloin steak. What we were served was certainly not what you would expect from a tenderloin steak. We were both served tough meat, and my steak was also cold on the inside. I had ordered my steak rare, and that was too big a risk in this case. The taste was good, but all in all, this was a disappointment.

The quality has declined rapidly in recent years. We only come here now to sit on the terrace and have a drink. The food is not like it used to be.

We had to wait a long time for our food—a good hour. The food was very tasty, however, we only received one portion of fries for three people. We ordered a second portion, but it took another 35 minutes. By then, we had already finished eating. It's a shame, because it started so well; the service was really friendly.

What a great place this is! We'll definitely be back. We had a high beer. The great thing is that you can choose your own four beers from the extensive beer menu, which includes over 50 beers. And of course, you get snacks with it.

The food was delicious! A bit pricey, but still quite reasonable compared to restaurant prices. The price-to-taste ratio is quite good. The service was very helpful, friendly, and fast. The place itself looks nice, but the smell of cigarettes is overpowering (it's a hostel, mind you). The restrooms were clean. In short, a good restaurant for lunch!

You can create a complete lunch here from small dishes, including soup, hot dishes, and cold ones. Three dishes is about enough for a lunch. Everything is served on a platter. The delivery was a bit chaotic. One dish was forgotten, and after a while, we received one satay instead of the three we ordered, so we had to wait again. A cozy and sunny terrace. Inside, the decor is charmingly old-fashioned and very tasteful. Friendly staff.

Perfect for drinks and dinner as a family. For lunch, you can choose from a variety of delicious small options. In the evening, a delicious three-course menu at great prices. And the best part: a wonderful play area for the kids, both indoors and outdoors! Perfect for us!

Sometimes you're pleasantly surprised in Dutch restaurants, as was the case at Herdenbergher. The lunch of mini sandwiches was generous, reasonably priced, and above all, delicious. Friendly, attentive service and a lovely setting topped it off for us. We'll definitely be back for the other mini sandwiches.

Had coffee in the morning, then went cycling. Came back later in the afternoon for dinner, which was great. So 5 stars well deserved.

Dishes on the menu too complicated. Just wanted a nice piece of meat. Temporarily chose a salad but too many tomato sour flavors mixed together. But tastes can still be argued. Afterwards there was also a flat with sparip but that was not on the menu and was not mentioned either. Children had to wait a very long time for the ice cream here had to ask for it. And it was not even busy. And finally, just after the toilet you want to wash your hands, the dryer does not work. No cloth either. Could not go back into the toilet that was already occupied. There was a wad of toilet paper but no trash can. Not a good experience for me

Leuke tent, goede en vriendelijke bediening. Vooraf een portie breekbrood to share. Als hoofdgerecht buikspek en parelhoentje, beide aan te bevelen. Ruim assortiment bieren.

Nice menu, every week a different changing dish outside the menu, it is not busy/crowded, the music is pleasant and you can sit outside if the weather permits.

What a great service. We had something to celebrate but with an 8 month old daughter an extensive lunch was not possible. After a short consultation with the kitchen we were able to choose a delicious lunch to take home and enjoy extensively.

We had a delicious lunch here. They serve small sandwiches, wraps, fries/snacks and the like on a large platter. With an average of 3 dishes per person we were able to put together a good varied lunch. I myself had two sandwiches and toast with scrambled eggs and salmon - delicious! The service was also excellent - it was already a bit late for lunchtime and we got our food very quickly. We would love to come back here again.

Have been here a few times now. Staff are always nice and they have a big drink selection. I have only ever got snacks here which were nice.

Quite expensive for lunch (3.50 to 4.50 per tapas dish). But it all tastes so good! Last year they got rid of the tapas lunch, but I don't think they should ever do that again. This concept is unique and that is why I come back regularly!

Found a quiet place at the end of the busy shopping street. In other words, a beautiful place with grandeur, tasty small dishes and excellent staff. Just one more time on the way back, I think.

Voor het eerst hier geweest, wij zaten in een huisje in Ebbenbroek en gereserveerd voor eerste kerstdag, nu dat is ons buiten gewoon goed bevallen, leuke vrouwen die de bediening deden en het buffet was voortreffelijk, groet van Nico uit Noordwijkerhout

Ik moest op zaterdag 28 oktober 7,50 betalen en het was voor 21:00 ik vind dat jullie dat niet kunt maken bier smaakte wel goed

Heerlijke koffie met appel gebak gehad voor een normale prijs.

Heerlijk geluncht,broodje carpaccio. S'avonds terug geweest, eerst een broodplank,verder een snitzel en de saté . Snitzel dun en uitstekend klaargemaakt, ook de kipsaté was heerlijk. Voorzien van heerlijke frites,aardappeltjes en salade. Vriendelijke bediening.

Mooi groot restaurant met een liefde voor vrouwelijke wielrensters, er hangen mooie shirts van kampioenen. Groot buitenterras maar ook prima binnen. Lekker eten, goed geserveerd en prettig personeel.

This “bruin café” has not changed its interior for the past 30 years, and it looks great,……..so cozy, so “gezellig” . However having dinner here one should realize that despite the good quality, the prices are steep. Service is excellent, and so is the ambience.
