Cozy restaurant. It was very busy, but service was quick. We had 20 people, and the pancakes were delicious.

This restaurant is Michelin-starred in our opinion. What a top-notch chef and top-notch service. Taste sensations! Also suitable for children.

Note: there's a pancake restaurant and a culinary bistro. We ate at the bistro. It was delicious, a true culinary experience. The service was super friendly, and the desserts, appetizers, etc. were explained. The price is reasonable for this high-quality food, but keep that in mind. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to those who enjoy good food.

A very cozy pancake restaurant with a lovely terrace. Adjacent to the terrace is a fun playground. It's wonderful to have a drink while the kids have fun. Service was fast and very friendly. The food arrived quickly after ordering, which is nice with small children. The food was delicious!

This restaurant is highly recommended if you're visiting the region as a couple, family, or extended family. Enjoy the peaceful outdoor seating, let the kids play in the playground, and be sure to find a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Besides a pancake menu, the restaurant also offers a standard Dutch restaurant menu with HB, satay, and ribs. They also serve local Vechtdal beer. Unfortunately, they don't offer the usual API, but the blond beer is also delicious!

Look, this is a top-notch pancake restaurant. Orders are taken quickly, the staff is incredibly helpful, they work well together, and the owner/manager is a real hands-on person. Kids can play safely outside while parents keep an eye on them on the patio. Reservations are highly recommended!

Two adults and three children had a wonderful and pleasant meal here. We sat on the pancake terrace. Pancakes for the kids, from the menu for us. A delicious ice cream sundae afterward. This review is specifically for people with children with disabilities. We've been coming here for years, and the owner and staff are always very helpful and caring for us and our daughter, who is on the spectrum. When you make a reservation, they'll make sure you have a nice spot, and bringing her own drinks is no problem (she only drinks her own syrup in a special cup), and they're always understanding and friendly to us all. You can be yourself here, and you'll always receive friendly service. VERY HEARTWARMING! The only one who eats pancakes here is our son, and he loves them, but the spare ribs and stews are also fantastic. TIP! Make sure you leave room for desserts because they're delicious!

After hearing about the delicious gluten-free pancakes here, I made a reservation right away. The welcome was friendly, as were the staff. A gluten-free sandwich to start, followed by a thick, delicious pancake, and ice cream for dessert. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately the food was the pork tenderloin satay and something with fish, little taste, the crowds?

If you like thick, undercooked pancakes, this is the restaurant for you. A thick pancake that's just undercooked on the inside, and when you tell them, they don't do much with it. The food is eaten and paid properly, but we won't be going there again.

Hospitality and top service can be found here in optimum form

We had a pancake for two. It was delicious and well-filled. I think the prices are a bit high. The basic pancakes are already quite expensive, but for one extra topping, you pay €3.50 extra. This applies to meat, cheese, and vegetables. So extra ham or cheese is just as expensive as onions. I don't think that's fair. I would have liked onions on my pancake, but I'm not going to pay €3.50 extra for that. I didn't particularly enjoy the €4.00 cappuccino. We'll definitely come back for the pancakes and the atmosphere, but the prices could be a bit more reasonable.

I'd gladly give it 6 stars if I could! We stopped in for dinner spontaneously, without a reservation. Many tables were already lovingly set, but a seat was found for us and prepared immediately. The menus were in German, and the staff also spoke excellent German and English. The staff were genuinely friendly, and the food and drinks on offer were of very high quality. Overall, a very well-designed, family-friendly restaurant. Hats off!

The food is delicious, and the kids have a nice play area. We've been here several times, and for good reason. The staff can be a bit pushy, for example, if you've already finished eating or made a choice. It was exactly the same the last few times. But other than that, it's fine!

Incredibly friendly staff! We ate here two nights in a row because of the atmosphere and the service. They also have a fun placemat for kids with crayons. There's a nice play area outside for the kids. There were a few wasps, but we were allowed inside right away and the staff helped move them. We'd love to come back!

The bistro restaurant was fantastic. We had a wonderful meal and have been back more than once. A great chef, short menu, delicious wine, and impeccably polite service.

A super cozy and child-friendly restaurant. Our granddaughter also enjoyed the gluten-free pancakes and fries.

Unfortunately, I can't get any further than 1 star for my food and especially the price I have a special diet.. I only eat raw vegetables and fruit because of my health. I asked for this politely and a salad was possible. I got a stripped down salmon salad, see photo. A few leaves of lettuce, a quarter of an apple and 1 asparagus (boiled from a jar) and carrot (boiled from a jar) so I couldn't even eat that. When paying I had to pay for a complete salmon meal salad worth 17.00 euros, this is really absurd for what I got. The rest of the family had pancakes which they were very happy with.

Went here for the first time last August. Hot weather and therefore asked for a spot in the shade. No problem! High chair? No problem! Very competent and friendly staff and delicious pancakes. Went back this week with a child of 2 and one of 1. No problem here! Super friendly again, delicious food, and when the 1-year-old was done with it, the staff also felt this. Compliments! If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back!

In itself quite a nice restaurant (we were at the pancake restaurant.) We actually wanted to be outside because of the playground, but it was a bit too cold. Inside however there is no real play area. Perhaps it would be nice to have some kind of corner where they can play. Furthermore the food was fine!

Every Mother's Day we come here for lunch, with 4 generations. And what a great service. Staff is fantastically friendly. Food is always delicious. And the great thing is that you have a view of the playground on a large part of the terrace, so the children can play without you having to come along every time. Of course we don't only come here on Mother's Day, but also the rest of the year. It is always good. Definitely recommended!

Tasty, good atmosphere, very friendly welcome, but way too expensive! I had a stew (€22.75), the meat was really tasty, but it needed a little more gravy. A thimbleful of mayonnaise, and then, the salad: great that you can find such a small bowl for the salad: 5 by 5 cm, about one and a half tablespoons. This really isn't possible. Furthermore €6.25 or €7.25! for a glass of beer. This way you really price yourself out of the market. No wonder that catering visits are declining. In fact, there should also be a 'value for money' star category for these reviews, because now a better rating is created than it actually deserves.

The Rheezer bistro is a bit hidden behind the pancake restaurant. Once inside you will be surprised by a homely and cozy ambiance. Under the inspired leadership of Michelle, we enjoyed classically prepared asparagus and a delicious deer steak. Dessert was a celebration in itself. This bistro is a pearl on the Vecht!

Had dinner here, mustard soup was delicious, pancakes mediocre, but the young man serving was overly present, just annoying, had the feeling of being constantly watched, which we also noticed the last time.

As a children's pancake house experience, it was very successful. Playground, lots of choice of pancakes, and space for the children to play. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food. The spareribs came with a mini bowl of cowl lettuce with little taste, I would have preferred tomatoes or funeral food. The ailoli also tasted almost the same as the mayonnaise. The hamburger was too thick, so the inside was undercooked. The taste was fine, and the fries were also tasty, but the total could be better. Nice local beer. The service was decent but a bit chaotic.

Top restaurant! They call themselves the hidden gem, I completely agree with that. Sublime quality food and beautiful dishes. The service is exactly what you would hope to find in all restaurants: friendly, attentive but only at the right times. Definitely choose the chef's menu here and trust me, you won't regret it. The decoration is kind of chic and cozy. Don't make a mistake by walking into the pancake restaurant, which is in the same building but has nothing to do with the charm of this restaurant.

Ordered 2 pancakes with ham, cheese, apple and pineapple last night. Delicious, thick, good pancakes. As a drink, a good Merlot with 2 (tap) water. Personally, I find it strange that you have to pay 50 cents each for these waters in addition to the Merlot of 6.50 euros per glass. Understand that a restaurant earns nothing if only water is drunk but next to the Merlot?????(grabbing culture here?) For dessert 2x a Dame Blanche for 7 euros and 2 more cappuccinos. Total bill 88 euros. In my opinion, too expensive for a simple pancake restaurant, even though the pancakes are highly recommended

This year our 'good resolution' was to eat out at least once every month. On the 30th I was just able to tick off the month of November. In the 2024 ranking, this Bistro de Rheezerbelten comes in at number 1! Although we spent the most per person here, it was well worth it! We chose the 6 course chef's menu. Every course a delicious taste sensation. And at the end I ate just enough. This, and the friendly, knowledgeable staff, and within cycling distance of our house, made it a wonderful evening!

We were a group of 8. The food didn't all come at once, and it wasn't all hot. Food was tasty, atmosphere is nice. Service could be a little better, for example I forgot to bring a tea box. Final assessment more than satisfactory.

Restaurant next to the holiday home where we spent the night after the fair in the Event Hall. We made a late reservation (8:15 PM) and the restaurant was half empty. Still quite cozy and a table for eight people was ready. Friendly service, nice menu. The group opted for starter and main course instead of the surprise menu. Delicious appetizers, great food. Not five stars due to the significantly deteriorating service at the end of the evening. Nevertheless, we had a nice evening.

Fast order fulfillment despite a large number of customers.

Ate here last week with my 2 children. The food was very tasty and everything looked beautifully presented. My children enjoyed the pancakes and spareribs and I enjoyed the satay. All in all it was more than sufficient. The service was fine. We were helped by a friendly boy. We will definitely come back again.

Delicious pancakes eaten together with the kids. Before and after dinner they had a great time in the playground outside, there were placemats at the table to color. The service was nice and smooth and spontaneous, the four of us enjoyed it!

We found the restaurant via an internet search. Reservations are easy, the restaurant is really cozy and the staff are very friendly. The food was very tasty and not overly expensive. The highlight was the games room for children to make the waiting time (which was very short) more pleasant. If we are in the corner again, we will definitely come back!

Delicious pancakes! I had the Rheezer pancake and all the ingredients were cooked to perfection. Chunky pancakes, which my wife normally doesn't like but they were all well cooked and delicious! It was quite busy, but all the staff remained very relaxed and friendly, which is something you often see go wrong when it is busy. The owner helped with everything like a flying keeper, nice to see! After dinner I had a quick chat with her because I complimented her team. She quickly spoke to a number of employees who were standing nearby and they were also happy with the compliment. They regularly do team building activities and that was certainly noticeable! In short, a fantastic and tasty recommendation for anyone coming near Hardenberg!
