Great food, fast service. Good value for money.

Very unfriendly and uncooperative staff. Came here with an elderly lady with a walker. We had to wait for a spot, I think they wanted to grab a chair for her to wait.

When you arrive you will immediately notice the restaurant. It is rightly called the tree trunk restaurant. It is a bit like a Canadian lodge. The food was of reasonable quality. The sucade in particular was very tasty. The barn swallows nests on the terrace are also an attraction in themselves

During bites and stairs we received our starter here. It was particularly tasty and enough to go on our way again. TOP!

It was very expensive and the ratio of food to price is not relative. For example, you order chicken satay and you get a piece of chicken for 22 euros and you have to share the fries with your friend because it comes for two people. It is very expensive and very little. I do not recommend it. The guys there get paid illegally too.

The food was of very good quality. The schnitzel was tender and the onions and mushrooms were well fried. The dishes of my table companions were also very good. The fries were fried nicely brown. (Unfortunately only a small bowl for 5 people. The extra portion was immediately ordered, but only arrived after everyone had cleared their plates 🥴.) The most important thing is that the food is tasty and it was 😄. We will definitely go back again.

What a nice restaurant right on the road with plenty of parking. And open on Mondays. You can certainly have a nice lunch here. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Nice menu, lots of choice. And delicious cappuccino. If we are ever in the area again, we would love to come back!

The food was good, delicious seasonal dish (pulled pork) according to grandma's recipe, served with mixed seasonal vegetables and apple compote (which was delicious with raisins and fresh apple pieces). Service was smooth and portions were quickly replenished if desired. The portion of stew was generous.

Surprising ambiance, we were warmly welcomed even though we had not made a reservation. The service was correct and friendly, the staff works hard to please everyone. Recommended. I don't live nearby, otherwise I would definitely come back more often. Deserved 5 stars.

Had lunch here today. Wasn't busy but we waited 45 minutes for an omelet. Which wasn't an omelet but more like scrambled eggs with vegetables. Not seasoned so quite tasteless. I had this problem all afternoon 🙁 All in all we were a bit disappointed because it is really cozy inside!

Went for dinner on a Thursday evening. The restaurant is easy to reach and has sufficient parking spaces. It is all tastefully decorated. We were kindly welcomed. It was not very busy and it was pleasant. Not super quiet, but a place where you could laugh together without bothering others. We ate three courses. It was really delicious! An appetizer on the house beforehand. The plates are beautifully laid out. The meat dishes were truly sublime. Straight from the grill and not tough. There were also warm vegetables on your plate, a crowl salad and farmer's fries. The dessert was also delicious. Ice cream from Bosman ice cream farm in the region. The delicious whipped cream was also surprising. Not such an airy/gassy dollop, but a delicious cream. In short, it was a surprise to eat there and you really got value for your money. It is definitely recommended. Another compliment goes to the staff. Very friendly and regularly asked if everything was okay. If you wanted something to drink, there was always someone around to serve you. In short, highly recommended for a fun evening out with delicious food.

Nice place in Hardenberg. I had dinner here with my boyfriend last Thursday. It is an easy to find location close to the highway. There is a busy intersection nearby, but you will not experience any disturbance if you sit outside on the terrace. We had nice chairs and lovely waitresses. The food was all beautifully prepared and tasted great! There are also a number of options for vegetarians, so that's very nice! The appearance of the restaurant looks a bit log cabin-like, but the type of food served is not necessarily what you would expect. (In a positive sense). It was also all very affordable. We paid €92.60 for 2 people. We both had 3 courses and 3 drinks. Maybe see you next time!

Very nice location and restaurant. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, nice atmosphere and good ambiance. We went to dinner with two people, on a Wednesday evening. It wasn't particularly busy, but the service was good. The employees were friendly. The food was good, only the fish in the fish pot was a bit overcooked and therefore dry. The spareribs had a good taste, but the meat was also fried a little too dry. But the food is definitely recommended! In terms of location, it is close to the city, and there is free parking in front of the door.

The first thing you have to talk about is of course the incredible ambience. The log cabin exudes such charm that you won't want to leave! The service was simply outstanding!!! I have to follow a gluten-free diet (unfortunately), but everyone knew what to look out for and I felt very safe! Our dog was also immediately offered water (and a few slices of ham 😉). The meat was cooked to perfection and of really good quality, as were all the side dishes. All in all a successful evening! Thank you!

Incompetent staff, no product knowledge and atmosphere in the cabin.

I received a small schnitzel with my order, it turned out to be a pressed one and not real meat, they cut it in half but did not fry it, I got it uncolored straight from the microwave, this is too crazy for words, what a dirty restaurant it is this, this was a few years ago and that was once and never again, not even for a cup of coffee.

First we had a delicious meal. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere and decor is very good. On Tuesday it was very quiet. The bruschetta I ate was tasty, but it was not bruschetta as I expected it to be. The 3 slices of white bread looked a bit plain. The tapanade was good. And that did not detract from the taste. The chicken wings were approved and the ham with stewed pears went down well. A rib roast was also ordered, in my opinion that is a prime rib of beef. In retrospect, there were already signs that it was something else. The price and the fact that the waitress did not ask about the cooking of the meat. That should have irritated me that it concerns pork. The sukade was really delicious and more than enough. The boys had difficulty finishing the delicious dessert. All in all, a successful evening.

Het was een prachtig restaurant met een authentieke sfeer. Het eten was heerlijk en de bediening was vriendelijk en top! We hoefden helemaal niet lang te wachten op ons eten en het smaakte heerlijk. Ik zou dit restaurant aan iedereen aanraden!

Gezellige gelegenheid met vriendelijke bediening en zeer smaakvol stuk appelgebak met slagroom, chocola en prima koffie!

Prima restaurant. Menukaart ziet er goed uit en het eten is heerlijk. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is misschien net iets te hoog.

Een leuke ambiance, vol sfeer en doet gezellig aan. Vanmiddag gegeten. De bediening was slecht en onvriendelijk. Na 5 uur kwamen er wel vlotte meiden binnen. Daarvoor een jongen en meisje die ons niet spraakzaam bedienden. Ik vroeg de jongeman na afloop om de rekening maar kreeg geen antwoord. Hij bracht ons beide een kommetje soep, maar we hadden nog geen broodje vooraf gehad, de tafel werd niet ingedekt en hij bracht na het brengen van de soep na een tijdje 2 lepels. De tomatensoep was matig, niet zoals de beloofde soep met groente, het was meer soep uit zak. Glazen, kopjes en flesjes werden niet meegenomen bij het brengen van nieuw drinken en een van ons kreeg wel een nieuw glas, bij de ander schoof de jongeman telkens het oude glas weer toe. De jongeman en het meisje wat voor half 6 bedienden waren in onze ogen ongeschikt. Het team dat daarna binnenkwam veel vlotter. Camembert en kipsate waren lekker.

Restaurant gebouwd van dikke boomstammen robuust en leuke sfeer. Ligging aan druk kruispunt. Het eten, carpacio, was okay.

Heerlijk gegeten, goede porties Tip nagerecht mag wat kleiner en verfijnder , we hadden omgekeerde dame blanche maar veel chocolade ijs en weinig vanille saus.

Super gegeten! De mosterdsoep was geweldig net als ons hoofdgerecht. De bediening heeft er alles aangedaan om ons een heerlijke en gezellige avond te bezorgen. Met speciale dank voor de extra slagroom bij de cappuccino:)
